Andros felt as equal waves of exhaustion and relief washed over him - watching as the entire group finally made their way to safety and began to establish camp. The adrenaline was only not beginning to fade from his veins, and it made the half-Orcolan all the more aware of his previous injury. Pain radiated throughout his upper body with dull throbs, coupled with the dizziness brought about by bloodloss.

As they reached safely, Andros clipped the saberhilt back to his belt - leaning his weight against an adjacent tree. He watched as Zathria began to tend to Leon’s injuries, bronze gaze flicking towards Ezra and the Kyber he’d acquired. Whatever thoughts about the Crystal ran through his mind, the half-Orcolan kept to himself.

His attention promptly flicked towards the Wookiee in question. Andros.. Didn’t understand her one bit, but knew that the Wookiee also understood what they were saying. After a moment, he pressed off from where he was standing to approach the Wookiee. Banking on the fact she knew her way around, Andros said, “We,” He jutted a thumb to himself and the group, “Will follow,” He proceeded to make the hand gesture of two fingers walking across his other hand. “You,” He then pointed to the Wookiee.

Hopefully she got the idea?

Leon shared a laugh about Silvereyes' misfortune, but as always it was lost on the guy himself. He shot back at both of them instantly, though with a tiny bit less fire than before, Dash thought.

"You shouldn't be looking at people's asses" the Rhinnalian replied playfully "it's quite rude". He decided not to press more about the crystal - Silvereyes was being weirdly coy about it and there was something about his face and the way he kept messing with his hair. His spikiness was almost becoming so familiar that Dash worried a little when it wasn't there.

Andros trudged off to one side, a visual reminder of how they had all been knocked about by the chase. Dash's shoulder twinged again and his silent prayer for them to escape was met by Leon collapsing to the floor. Zathria was on it straight away and her healing was something to behold. But it was still another blow.

The young Jedi stood open-mouthed, lacking any real skill to help. He was no better when she and Andros tried to converse with the Wookiee about where next. It was painful to watch.

"Maybe we should just stay here for a bit?" Dash ventured. It was darker than ever now and he was tired of running. Everyone had to be. They didn't know what was ahead and might run themselves into the ground if they carried on. "We've lost them for now and we're safer as a group. We could try and get some rest in shifts?".

He didn't know if the others would go for it. He was just a Padawan after all, one who had already got himself into trouble. They could do with a third way that didn't involve risking anything.

"You're not a Jedi are you?" Dash said to Silvereyes beside him, thinking out loud "and you had that phone. Might someone come looking for you at least? Get us off this rock?"

The Wookiee blinked twice as she realized that none of the Jedi understood the distinguished language of Shyriwook; the lack of any reaction by the offworlders to her insults- especially the ones directed at the tall, thin boy who'd helped in her escape- all but confirmed that. Instead, they were locked in a frustrating situation where she could understand them, but not the other way around.

Hazel eyes glanced over the group; clearly, Kashyyyk was still a challenging planet for Jedi to train on, given their various states of wellbeing. The two chaperones were clearly not paid enough for missions like these, even if some of the Padawans had shown surprising competence at various points. The silver-eyed one had earned her thanks, she supposed.

None of that helped solve the problem of them not being able to understand her, their guide. However, the half-Orcolan's terrible sign language and Dash's verbal musings gave the Wookiee an idea. At the word, "phone", she perked up, nodding and pointing towards Ezra with grunts of agreement, then gestured towards where a small mountain loomed up and out of the Shadowlands a few miles away. They'd stand a better chance of getting a signal from a higher vantage point.

Although the prospect of a rest was tempting, they were still within Sayorami territory; a fact that would become clear as the sounds of a distant war party were heard on the wind. The Wookiee began leading the way through the Shadowlands in the direction of the mountain at a forced-march pace, until the party reached a wide river whose reddish color appeared almost bloodlike in the fading light. A single, thin Wroshyr tree, wide enough for one humanoid to cross at a time, served as a natural bridge across its fast-flowing waters.

Although the Jedi wouldn't understand her words, their meaning was clear enough. "Hurry across, and whatever you do; don't fall in!"

"You shouldn't be looking at people's asses"

Ezra’s eyes went wide, “What? I uh- that’s not what I meant!” He sputtered stupidly, his face turning several shades of red. Fortunately, he was spared the attempt at coming back with a retort thanks to-

“RRROROAORORORO!”

He stared vacantly at the Wookiee that hurled some insults at him. None of it registered, so Ezra shook his head and said , “No, I don’t have a snack for you,” very slowly and complete with crude hand gestures. He was half worried about the thing jumping him for food. Did wookiee sprays exist to repel them from digging through your campsite trash?

His focus was back on Grumpy Lady and whatever she did to make Leon feel better at once. The display was impressive, but he couldn’t help but notice the subtle pang when she used the Force. He hadn’t been aware of it before, but he felt something now. As usual, he tried to suppress and forget as they began to walk.

Ezra was silent even as Prettyboy asked his question, his jaw tightening slightly. For a moment he considered pretending not to hear, but the question was weighing on him heavily, “I’m not a Jedi,” He declared finally. Technically this was true. Even if was a Force user - which he denied - he was not trained as Jedi or Sith.

“I’m…not supposed to be here..” Ezra said after a moment, “No one’s looking for me..yet,” He made up some nonsense about being away for two weeks at least when he took the dare.

He was largely quiet during the journey towards the river. Every now and then he discreetly snuck glances towards Prettyboy (@Alhon) when he wasn’t looking. One of those times resulted in him accidentally bumping into Leon and almost causing the Padawan to KO himself again.

Ezra stared at the water the Wookiee led them to and the ‘natural bridge’. He was about to promptly walk in the opposite direction when he realized that everyone was about to cross this nonsense. That was when he heard the shouts of the Sayormi rapidly approaching them. A spear was thrown from the darkness, landing less than a foot away from him.

“Nope,” Ezra said simply as he turned towards the bridge and took a running start. Panic bubbled in his chest and he bolted in the direction of the bridge. As he approached closer, he saw a gap in the tree. In his panic, he jumped into the air to leap over it. However, he felt a surge of desire to avoid the gap at all costs. This manifested into his jump, sending him sailing directly over the bridge so he landed in a flawless crouch clear on the other side. He had done large leaps like this before in an emergency and thought nothing of it. It was a Sephi thing, right?

He turned to look at the others standing far on the other side of the river.

Roll: nat 20 for crossing river. Everyone else roll with -1 mod cuz we got sayormi rushing us.

Leon lay stretched out in a hammock sipping lemonade. The warmth of the sun kissed his forehead as the sea breeze wafted by. Through rose-tinted glasses, he saw the waves slowly rolling in.

A flash of pain burst across his cheek. The bright mid-day sun was eclipsed as a hooded figure loomed over him, “Come here.

Why?” he asked in a dreamy voice. After all, he was in paradise. Nothing was wrong, everything was— Suddenly, he was up. His eyes were wide and everything was dark. His breath came in ragged gasps as the venom’s grasp on his respiratory system relaxed. He looked at Zathria and managed a small, “Thanks…” before she was gone.

While the others were talking with their newest member, Leon took a second just to breathe. He was struggling to process this adventure and truth be told, he was scared. Was he supposed to feel this way? It made him feel weak, luckily the band started moving and he pushed his fear deep down. Ya know, in like a really healthy way.

The Padawan was positioned toward the front of the group because of his condition. He was doing his best but felt like he was slowing everyone down. His whole body ached, but he kept moving. The monotonous trudge made it easy to zone out. He embraced his exhaustion and trudged one step in front of the other, and then Jabba clobbered him. Leon stumbled just barely managing to catch himself. He didn’t bother chastising the other guy, he was just too damn tired.

Then The Wookie pointed at the natural “bridge” and the small flickering pinprick of hope he had fizzled out. He was trying, and failing, to psych himself up for this when—SHUNK! Fear became the motivation he couldn’t muster. As he started for the bridge he watched with awe as Jabba fucking flew over the obstacle. His mouth dropped open and he looked back at everyone else just to make sure he wasn’t still hallucinating.

The shock of Jabba’s display was displaced when another spear nearly impaled him. Leon knew he was the weakest link right now. He needed to cross this gap quickly so no one got hurt because of him. Teeth gritted he fumbled across the bridge nearly slipping halfway, but recovering and landing on the other side with Jabba.

Yo, what in the hell was that, I thought you just found out you were force-sensitive?" he said between gasping breaths.

Leon looked back across the bridge at the others making their way. Behind them, Seymori warriors began to break from the tree line The ferocity intensified ten-fold as they sought to mend their wounded pride. Too weak to contribute any real value to the situation, Leon waved them toward this side like the scared idiot he was.

While Andros wasn’t too keen on another hike, he knew that they couldn’t linger for very long. Not with the Sumoyormi trailing them through the forest. Thus, he merely nodded towards the Wookiee as she screeched, and proceeded to follow the woman deeper into the forest - towards the higher vantage point off in the distance. With any luck, they’d be able to contact the Jedi Temple or local authorities on Kashyyyk.

He walked towards the back of the group during the journey to the river - deliberately covering their rear in case of ambush. The half-Orcolan was notably moving slower and fatigued, but stopping to rest and recuperate wasn’t an option at the present moment.

His gaze flicked between Ezra and the other Padawans - only for his attention to rapidly snap back the way they came. Spears tore from between the trees as Sumoyormi approached, landing a bit too close to comfort for the half-Orcolan. Without a second thought, Andros drew his viridian saber once more - the blade springing to life with a snap-hiss. “Get across!” He yelled to the others, including Zathria - though he figured only the Padawans would listen.

His saber swung high - slicing through a spear that was thrown in Leon’s direction. It was only after Dash made his way across the bridge that Andros began to cross - turning around to sprint his way across with as much speed and agility as he could muster.

But it wasn’t enough. Not nearly.

Just as he got roughly half-way across the bridge, Andros glanced back - just in time to watch as a launched Goo-net coiled around his ankles. He instinctively sent a concussive blast into the warriors to send them backwards and of the bridge, but couldn’t prevent what was about to happen. The net bound both of his legs together, causing the half-Orcolan to trip forward and tumble over the edge of the bridge

The rest of the group would watch as Andros fell into the rushing river - landing with a splash before being swept beneath the rapids.

At about the point that Zathria watched Andros walk his fingers across the palm of his other hand, she had to wonder what this had all come to. Evidently, it got the idea across well enough as the Wookiee started moving, and the group followed until they came to a bridge over a rushing river.

Zathria had taken up the rear of the group and began to cross after everyone else, and... what a crossing it was. First from "Jabba" who she was becoming more and more convinced actually was a Padawan from the Kyber crystal to the Force-assisted leap to Andros who promptly dropped into the rapids.

Zathria had started crossing last, her saber slashing through the air to bring down the Swampry's spears and she tried to reach out to catch Andros, but to no avail. Her own foot slipped slightly, but she caught herself before sliding free.

Her hands were shaking and her heart was pounding, but she finished the crossing and brought her saber slashing through the tree to remove the "bridge" once she'd made sure that Andros wasn't directly under it or anything. After all, it might also make a good raft for him and cut off the Swampry's pursuit.

Not one person seemed taken by Dash's suggestion of camping out, which was a shame. Instead, the group moved off following the Wookiee and there was little Dash could do but trudge after them in silence.

He slid his hands in his pockets as they hiked, pulling his jacket close against the growing cold. Rough leather rubbed against his skin and he realised he was still carrying the little book. Maybe there would be chance to have a good look at it when this was all over. If it was ever over.

When he first saw the tree-bridge, he was actually with Silvereyes. It was a tree, not a bridge, and the red river flowed fast and deep beneath. There had to be a better way to cross. But then the Sayuumi were at their heels and there was no other choice.

Silvereyes went first and Dash could only gawk as he leapt over the whole tree in a single bound. How was that even possible? Leon hurried across next while he dallied and he realised he had to go or be left behind.

Stepping out onto the nearest limb, Dash skittered along its length, arms out for balance and putting one foot in front of the other. He nearly made it across in one, but slipped at the last moment and crashed down with the branch right between his legs. He steadied himself instinctively, crawling onto the bank and groaning inside and out.

His groan became a cry of shock as he caught sight of the burly Andros falling from the tree, tumbling into the river. Somebody had to do something! But then Zathria's saber slashed through the air and any chance of going back was lost.

Ezra saw Leon barely make it to his side and he reached down to drag the pathetic mess of a Padawan away from the edge of the water, “Uh, I’m quarter Sephi,” He pointed to his fluted ears, “Haven’t you seen Rings of the Lord? Sephi can do cool shit,” He explained as he dragged Leon out of range of the Swarmomy.

He looked up to see the Prettyboy drop right down on his nuts, the sight making him visibly wince. However, Ezra’s focus went to the Green Guy that failed to make it across. This was followed by Grumpy Lady chopping down yet another tree.

The Swarmimi appeared to have given up for now, shouting and shaking their fists from a distance. Ezra sighed before looking towards where he saw the Green Guy disappear. Grumpy Lady could put Paul Bunyan to shame with the way she constantly chopped down trees and split the group.

He wasn’t sure how Green Guy would get back to them, but that wasn’t his problem to figure out. He glanced up at the mountain and pointed, “We may be able to get a signal up there,” He said, looking back at the group, “Anyone have a comlink that’s still alive?”

Realistically, it would be quite a hike to get there. He was out of shape, but the rest of the group had injuries that would certainly prevent them from going up quickly. Camping was looking like the best solution for now. Then again, these were Jedi and he half worried he would have to put in even more cardio to chase after the orc dude.

Even in his exhausted state, Leon wasn’t sure Sephi had the ability to leap blood-red rivers in a single bound, but he had to admit he also didn’t know enough to argue. A spear clattered to the ground next to them and with Jabba’s help, Leon moved out of range.

Leon watched nervously as the others made their way across the tree. Dash was nearly to the end when his foot slipped. “Oooooo!” Leon flinched empathetically.

To Jabba he said, “Poor guy’s sporting a pair of scrambled eggs now.

Andros was next to cross. He made it about halfway when a Sayless Warrior fired a net at the knight. Leon’s eyes went wide with shock as Andy’s legs got caught. He started forward but stopped as Andy fell. Leon cursed his weakness as he helplessly watched Andros disappear into the waters below.

Leon looked back to the bridge as Zathria cut it down. The Saskatoon’s shook their weapons and bellowed their war cries. Leon would offer to help Dash up and regroup with everyone. Jabba was pointing out a mountain that didn’t look too far away, and suggesting they head that way.

We should look for Andy,” tossed in Leon. It was practical to head for the mountain, but abandoning an ally wasn’t something Baudelaire could abide by. Granted without some kind of rest he would be worthless. Between the fighting and the poison, Leon was pretty sure he was closing in on his limits.

Wait a minute..., he thought looking around the group, where was the Wookie?

Ezra grimaced the moment Leon began to suggest going after Mr. Green. Jedi were so predictable, it was painful.

“You’re two seconds away from eating shit,” He said coolly to the Padawan, “Scrambled Eggs over there doesn’t look to be in any condition to carry you,” Ezra jutted his chin towards Dash, who was probably singing soprano at this point, “-and Grumpy Lady is only good at chopping down trees, so we’re better off camping here or trying to climb and get some actual help,” Ezra pointed up at the mountain. Realistically, even Zathria was likely too taxed to offer much healing without draining herself at this point. Of course, as the 6’3 guy, he conveniently left himself out entirely as a candidate for aiding in Leon's support.

He started to walk towards the path of the mountain. However, that was when he also noticed the Wookiee was missing. Along with it, the bowcaster he was planning to steal while everyone was sleeping. Ezra began to look around.

"Here wookiee, pspspspspss!"

On the up side, they weren't dead. On the downside, they were split up again. She took a quick stock of their situation, and actually gave an ear to Jabba's evaluation, her jaw tightening as her eyes flashed between the river, the far bank, and the mountain top before they fell back on the group and their various states of... disarray.

They couldn't stay here and risk being overrun by the Shawarma but they also couldn't move on and leave Andros behind. And she couldn't leave the Padawans to go looking for him.... In other words, there were no good answers here.

We'll rest and wait here for Andros for a few minutes, but then we need to head up the mountain, she said. Rest up. Jabba, can you help Leon when we get on the move? she said. Based on how the others looked they weren't going to be much help in that department.

She took the few minutes to plop down on a root and keep her eye on the eastern shore, her heart still pounding and fearing she may see Shawarma movement on the other side.

For a split moment, Andros felt the weightlessness that accompanied his fall - air whistling around his ears. He only caught a glimpse of the Salami Warriors and the tree bridge before his body hit the water, dipping below to complete submerge the half-Orcolan. Andros felt his body thrown about by the rapids - rolling and unable to find the surface for air.

His legs kicked and thrashed against the net that bound his ankles together. Couple with the injury to his left shoulder, it made swimming nigh impossible - and it was only by virtue of being tossed by the current that Andros’ head eventually broke through the surface - allowing the half-Orcolan to take a brief, shallow breath before he was submerged once again. It allowed him a single glimpse at the tree that Zathria had cut down and sent down the river, hope flashing across his features for a moment.

It took Andros several moments to find his bearings, bronze eyes opening beneath the water. While it was impossible to navigate against the current that carried him, the half-Orcolan’s hand slipped down to the hunting knife that was still tucked into his belt - freeing the blade from its leather sheathe. Maneuvering beneath the water, Andros began to haphazardly cut at the net that bound his ankles together. He felt a sting of pain as the blade nicked his lower calf, consequence of his frantic attempt to slice through the sticky material. Nevertheless, it was enough to finally free his legs - kicking wildly to discard the rest of the net.

He released the blade and immediately pushed himself towards the surface of the river - gasping for air the moment his head rose above the rapids. He glanced around, scouring the river until his gaze finally landed on the thin tree that had once been their bridge. At some point while underwater, the tree had sailed right past him, lodging itself between the earth where the river grew narrow.

Swimming with the current now, Andros allowed his body to be carried towards the tree - just until he was close enough to wrap an arm around it. It took several moments to pull himself out of the river, but the Knight eventually managed it - crawling across the tree before rolling flat onto his back on dry land. He was several meters away from the rest of the group - separated by the dense forest - but Andros could still see the vantage point far in the distance.

By some miracle, he had largely come out of the river unscathed - save for the cuts to his legs, and being drenched.

Dash was on his feet. That feared and familiar throbbing had receded and he pressed his lips together, trying to weather the uncomfortable sensation he was left with. He started forward, walking like a wounded gazelle for a short way until he regained his rhythm.

Right, he'd really had enough now. They needed a way out of this.

It was hard to turn his back on the river and the fallen Andros, but he had no idea what to do about the green Jedi. He was done trying to sort things he couldn't fix. It was time to focus on those he could.

He'd caught snatches of the conversations around him and now strode forward quickly, closing on Silvereyes and grabbing him from behind (@Sreeya ). Without a word, he started pushing the guy up the mountainside, like a heavy cart with stubborn wheels, following in his wake.

"Come on then, to the top. You bring the phone, I've got a comlink". There was every chance the prissy fracker would react violently, but Dash was hoping not. Besides, he had a theory Silvereyes was not quite as obtuse as he seemed.

"You can follow" the Rhinnalian said to Leon as they passed (@Zay ) "but you might want to stay with Zathria if you're not doing good. We'll fire up my comlink when we get up there and signal for some help".

That was assuming the comlink in his inside pocket was still functional of course. After everything he'd been through today, that was far from guaranteed. Then of course, someone had to answer...

Ezra stared at Grumpy Lady. Rest? Did she mean sit on the disgusting muddy ground? He looked down at his expensive pants that already had a bunch of dirt and mud on them. With a sigh, he was about to sit when Prettyboy abruptly began to push him up towards the mountain. His eyes went wide, the gesture unexpected. He began to stumble, but he walked a few steps, glancing over his shoulder.

“You just lost a fight with a tree,” He pointed out as he glanced at Prettyboy. However, he couldn’t deny the logic of trying to find help immediately while Leon rested up. Before they could get much further, Ezra caught a glance towards Grumpy Lady. Grumpy was an understatement. She had a stern look on her face that was very familiar. It was the look Jaikus gave when he or Jayna were in trouble. The look that sent a chill down his spine and was more terrifying than anything his Pops could muster.

“Uhh…” He said as he abruptly stopped walking. This would likely cause Dash to catapult right into his back from the sudden loss of friction, “Maybe…we wait,” Ezra said as he looked at Zathria, expecting her to set up a makeshift camp at least, “She looks like she’s gonna eat us if we leave,” He said in a quiet whisper to Prettyboy.

To say that Zathria was not expecting Dash to suddenly outright go against what she had just said was an understatement. She stood and turned, and evidently everything she was feeling was etched onto her face. Her eyes were a bit wide, jaw set firmly, and an intensity in her face that said she was in no mood for arguing.

She felt a small wave of relief that Jabba evidently knew better, but it wasn't going to save Dash.

Padawan Pavan, come here, she said, fully prepared to march over and drag him back to the group if need be. Assuming it didn't come to that, she would address him more quietly when he was within earshot.

While I appreciate your eagerness to signal for help and press on, we're strongest together, she said. There was some deep philosophical spiel there about the Light and Dark, but frankly she didn't want to give it, and he probably didn't want to hear it.

As she pulled her emotions back in and stopped focusing on herself, she felt the waves of fear flowing off of him, the anxiety, and the stress. She couldn't fault him, and she let out a quiet, relenting sigh.

I'm going to do everything in my power to get us out of here, Dash. Will you trust me? Trust us? Our group? she asked, not in a reprimanding way but fully genuine. She could only hope to the Force that Andros would come back soon, but... if he didn't, they would have to get going soon.

We'll get on the way soon, but we could all use an opportunity to catch our breath, she said before reaching into her belt and pulling out her medpack. Why don't you get yourself and Leon patched up? she suggested. It may not have been Force healing, but it was certainly better than nothing.

"What can I say" Dash replied "some of us weren't quite feeling the whole circus leap - we had to actually walk across" (@Sreeya ). He was still massively intrigued by Silvereyes' sudden flash of brilliance, but couldn't bring himself to say it.

Suddenly he faceplanted the other guy's back; he had stopped abruptly and was digging his heels in.

"She?" For a second Dash didn't know who he was talking about.

"Padawan Pavan, come here".

Dash winced. He hardly ever got called Padawan Pavan and it never meant good things. He was forced to let go of Silvereyes and abandon the mountain climb for the moment. He walked over and stood in front of Knight Zathria (@Phoenix ), sullenly looking at the floor.

He listed to her, of course he did. He couldn't not. Everything she said was very reasonable and a large part of him wanted to accept it full stop.

"I...I do trust the group, of course". It was true. Zathria and Andros were real Jedi and true protectors. Leon was a sound guy from what he'd seen. Silvereyes was one on his own, but part of the unlikely team now. "I shouldn't have raced off" he said, half sure it was true "I just think we should get help as soon as we can, but yes we should all do that together...."

It was too much like one of Master Hera's sermons. He sloped off back towards Leon and Silvereyes. For the first time, he envied the tall posh boy; he didn't seem to have to listen to anyone else.

Sitting on the hard ground, the Rhinnalian pulled up a blade of grass and sat knotting it between his fingers. His shoulder burned, but he couldn't do anything about it, nor could he help Leon. The only healing he'd ever done had brought out the...the thing. He was not using that here, no way.

Ezra scoffed, “You did the splits just fine as part of your circus act,” He quipped right back, thoroughly entertained by the ridiculous image of when Prettyboy landed on his jewels. If he ever saw him outside of this cursed forest, he would be sure to let him hear about it again.

He was silent as Prettyboy was sternly asked to walk away, noticing the way he winced. Ezra also began to step in that direction, but he realized he wasn’t addressed. He remembered he was the outsider here. He wasn’t a Jedi and no one had any authority over him. For a moment, he watched from a distance as Grumpy Lady addressed Prettyboy and he saw the latter feel cornered. Once again forced to abide by rules and bossed around.

Well no one could tell him what to do. Ezra watched as Grumpy Lady prepared the camp, “I’m gonna go take a leak,” He announced as he stuffed his hands in his pockets and walked off into the darkness. However, instead of going to do his business in the woods, he casually took a left and started walking up a path towards the mountain. What was Grumpy Lady gonna do? Shout for Padawan Thorne to stop at once? Pfft.

He didn’t belong to this group. He was here for a bowcaster. He had gotten himself and Leon out of trouble just fine without Mommy and Daddy Jedi there to save the day. Ezra could do just fine on his own. Both his parents made it alone through life before they met one another, so why couldn’t he?

Besides, peeing off the side of a mountain sounded far more satisfying.

Leon stared at Jabba. No emotion, just stared. Andros had taken a spear for the kid who wasn’t supposed to be there. Then when Leon had been just about to get him to safety the dunce had sprung awake and ruined their escape. He could look past that, if it wasn’t for the shitty attitude at every turn. What did the force see in someone like him? Before Leon could say something he’d regret Zathria sided with Jabba. Leon didn’t respond he. Pouting wasn’t going to bring Andros back or prove Jabba’s logic wrong, but man he wished he could rub that smug face in the mud or maybe throw a venomous spider at his face.

Leon didn’t waste energy following along with Dash and Ezra’s antics. Instead while they went to sneak off, he knelt. The Padawan opened himself to the force and breathed deep. His body as a whole felt like trash, but he knew better than to just accept that. So, he began to assess him self through the force as a form of meditation.

His assessment revealed his fucking head hurt and that being poisoned sucked. Leon sighed disappointed. Trust was what he was supposed to learn on this training. He was supposed to learn to trust in the force. So, he’d been given minimal equipment and encouraged to let the force be his guide. Ya, know what he got for that? Nothing.

Dash, freshly chided, sat down on the ground next to him. Leon opened his eyes and shifted from kneeling to sitting. It suddenly felt pretty awkward between them. Leon was pretty sure Zathria had asked Dash to help path Leon up, but he just kinda sat there. “Uh…” he started, but he never finished. Instead he opened his pack and pulled out the few emergency medical supplies he was allowed to bring.

Leon watched as Jabba started to head off and said, “Good luck.”

And then there were three.

“Can you cut this for me?” He asked Dash while holding out a piece of gauze. “I can’t really see what I’m doing on my face, think you could lend me a hand?”
