The serpent’s thrashing body made getting to Zathria impossible, so he changed course. Leon slid on his knees under the snake’s torso closing the gap between himself and Andros. The Anakkoa struck fangs bared and lightning quick at The Jedi knight.

BOOM!

The serpent’s outstretched neck snapped to the side sending it writhing across the ground. Leon’s head snapped up to see Jabba brandishing a bowcaster, “That crazy son of a bitch, did it. He found his bowcaster!

As if refusing to allow Jabba the best entrance award for this little adventure, Dash, replicated his namesake and, dashed forward conjuring a literal spear of ice from thin air, then hurled that spear directly into the serpent's eye.

Leon's mouth dropped open as the surprise calvery caught him flat-footed. They were all together now working toward the same goal. This poor snake was screwed. Suddenly he was moving. As if being pulled along by a tether connected to his chest he surged forward faster than he’d ever moved before in his life. The Force had taken the wheel and Leon had finally let go. There was no emotion as he hurdled one coil, then dodged the next. He wasn't scared. He wasn't angry. He just was.

Jabba's words were barely perceivable within his trance. Leon was laser focused on the icicle protruding from the snake's eye. Once he could see it without obstruction, Leon, reached out with the force grasping the spear, pulling it from the face of the serpent, and then immediately plunging it into it’s exposed neck. The Anakkoa convulsed once more in an expression of rebellious rigor and then it was still.

The sound of furious thrashing made The Padawan jump as he spotted Zathria tangled in a mess of vines. The lumberjack had finally met her match. Leon struggled not to giggle as he helped her out. Over his shoulder, he looked up to where Dash and Jabba stood and crowed, “That was AWESOME!

That's when Leon's body decided to remind him of all the other bullshit he'd been through and he decided it was for the best that he take a seat.

"Can we camp, now?” he begged. Then looked around, "Wait, Andy was here right? I didn't imagine that did I?"

Andros was, in fact, there the whole time. Unfortunately, the half-Orcolan was caught entirely off guard by the giant snake that appeared out of nowhere - and stepping in the creature’s back wasn’t exactly a recipe for success by any stretch of the imagination.

While the Padawan’s attacked the snake and Zathria started fighting against the tree, Andros was sent flying off the back of the Anakkoa. The half-Orcolan went airborne before slamming roughly into a nearby tree, the entire world spinning for several moments. A combination of exhaustion, his previous injuries and now being thrown like a ragdoll.. Left the Knight providing little in the way of being useful.

Fortunately, it didn’t seem that the group of Padawan’s (And Jabba) needed it.

He lifted his head, just in time to watch as the combination of Bowcaster - when the fuck did he get a bowcaster? - and ice spear put an end to the giant snake. The half-Orcolan let out a small sigh of relief, deciding it was best.. Not to move around too much.

“Yup..” He muttered loud enough to be heard. “We can camp now.”

“Hell yeah!” Ezra called out as Leon landed the finishing blow. Even beyond the victory over the snake, he was thrilled Leon wouldn’t be able to hold anything above his head. Against his normal mannerisms, he thrust his pelvis up and made a rather juvenile gesture at Leon to celebrate his victory.

He put his bowcaster away, his demeanor much more positive. Even then, he wasn’t the type to smile easily, though his eyes lacked a bit of their usual frost. Ezra glanced over at Dash, appearing as if he would say something. In the end, he only scoffed, “Couldn’t have whipped out your icy shit when the jungle maniacs were chasing us?” However, his tone wasn’t as biting as before, his gaze lingering for a bit longer on Dash before he made his way down.

The sight of Grumpy Lady having found her final boss in the form of a tree was outright poetic. He didn’t help her, but he stood and stared in amusement. Green man, or Andy, was sitting down, looking like he needed a smoke.

Once the wooden logs were gathered, Ezra ignited them with a lighter. He sat down as a small flame crackled to life, glancing around at them all.

“Why are you all out here anyway?” He finally asked after they had spent practically the entire day together in some shape or form.

Zathria whipped her lightsaber around herself, severing the branches above and dropping to the ground before swiping at the ones behind her. In relatively short order, she had freed herself, extricating her foot from the last branch and preparing to leap at the serpent... but it was already dead.

Her breathing was still quick and adrenaline was still pouring through her veins, but the victory shouts were already starting. Her eyes swept over the group, everyone was here and everyone was alive. She almost wanted to cry for joy, but instead just started laughing, a joyful smile that was at least 90% relief that everyone was alive spread over her face, and her lightsaber flashed out.

Good work! she exclaimed, moving over as people started talking of camping. She felt... exhausted and wanted nothing more than to get some real sleep. Well, nothing more except a shower. Even after her partial wash in the river, the poopnado was just... a memory she wanted to wash away.

She finally plopped down with her back near a tree and just leaned her head back against it.

Training exercise. Survival training and navigation, she said to Jabba as he asked why they were out here. And oh had they gotten training.

Very real world training, as it turned out, she said with a hint of sarcasm in her tone.

There was not really anywhere to go on their little ridge, but Dash at least managed to pull Ezra to one side. He couldn't focus, staring at the icy spear sticking out the snake's eye. He'd never done anything like that before and still couldn't believe it. Ezra was equally aghast, but Dash had no words to answer him.

Fortunately, the snake didn't have time to exact its revenge. Dash watched in amazement at Leon leapt towards the shrieking thing and pulled the shard of ice free - not with his hands, but with the Force - and plunged it back into the snake's neck. It went down like a falling tree, finally dead.

"Yes!" he shouted involuntarily, though he wasn't convinced his own contribution was awesome. It was scary, that was for sure. Ezra of course thought it was all great, gyrating and cheering like a movie character. "I didn't know I could do that icy shit" Dash replied through gritted teeth, still processing it. He wasn't entirely sure if trying to save both himself and Ezra had something to do with it.

He tried not to think about it as he helped helped make up their little camp in the clearing. He was pleased to see Andros (@Altaris ) had survived the river and everything since and told him as much. Zathria (@Phoenix ) had bested the trees in the end and now sat serenely with her back to one.

"Well done for finishing it off" he said to Leon (@Zay ), thinking back to all the knocks the other Padawan had taken. At least they were all together now, and alive.

Dash sat down on a log next to Ezra, feeling unusually drained and his shoulder wound burning again. He almost felt like he could just fall asleep. "I didn't sign up for no exercise" he said quietly "I came here to see someone and was on my way back to the port to leave". He smiled weakly, looking sideways at Ezra (@Sreeya ) "this guy ran into me and it all went downhill from there".

Leon looked around and watched as Jabba and Dash made their way to them. Andy popped up out of nowhere scaring the crap out of him, but his body hurt too much to react. That’s when he remembered the scales. He pushed himself up once the declaration for camp was made and headed back to the massive serpent. Deep emerald-hued scales lay scatted about the battlefield.

The Padawan stooped down and gathered as many scales as he could. Every adventure needed a souvenir right? On his way back to camp, he joined in on gathering firewood. Finally, they were at rest. Easy banter started as the flames danced. Leon was just about to return Jabba’s question when Dash said, “Well done finishing it off.

The complement caught Leon off guard, but he just smiled and waved it off, “Uh, yeah right, you shot it in the eye with an icicle, you’re the MVP, bud. But Ole Jabbalabading-dong over there takes a close second,” He shot a mischievous grin at Jabba before adding, “I sure am glad you found that bowcaster you were looking for," he laughed, "That whole fight was like a scene outta the holovids."

Leon looked over to Andros and asked, “Hey Andy, how’s your shoulder? Better yet, how are you still conscious? You’re a monster.
