After Poffo hit the ground Klied yanked his grappling hook out of the ceiling and reeled it in, then raised his pistol and followed close behind his partner. The mountain of muscle made for excellent moving cover, as the Onderonian remained largely concealed behind the point man, ready to fire over his shoulder if need be. Whatever Ordo dared to get in their way would get a high-powered blaster bolt between the eyes. That was if they weren't cooked alive first.

As Poffo asked about the layout a heavy sigh came over the comms. "Are action-holo lines your first language?" Tegan asked sarcastically. "Looks like you want to take a left up ahead. Careful, it's a bottleneck, perfect place for a defensive position. Thankfully I've managed to shut down any auto-turrets and prevented them from closing the blast doors. You're welcome, by the way."

"Yeah yeah, thanks kid." Klied muttered before patting Poffo on the shoulder. "Once we round the corner you lay down the fire, the cramped quarters ought to give you more range. Once they're on the backfoot I can charge them and give you cover." Klied's maalraas hide was highly resistant to heat. Meaning if he moved fast enough he could run right through Poffo's fire to attack the unsuspecting Mandalorians. As the two mercenaries neared the junction the sound of cocking weapons and hushed voices speaking Mando'a could be heard not far in the distance. Sounded like they were ready to fight...

"Are action-holo lines your first language?" the kid asked over the comms.

Poffo snapped his head toward Klied and let the youngster finish with directions. He shook his head as Klied as answered. "Your new son has a smart mouth, yeah. If Daddy Hunter don't do it, Uncle Poffo may have to bend that smartass over his knee, if you can play the cards I'm laying down."

But, the instructions were easy enough. Poffo rolled his massive neck, a series of pops and cracks exploding. He rolled his shoulders and cracked his knuckles before checking to make sure he still had enough bursts in his fuel canister to do the job. Things seemed to be in order, so he nodded to Klied before rounding the corner, planting on his back and yelling, "OOOOOHHH, YEEE-AAHH! This talking head is burning down the house!" With that, he pulled the trigger and 20 meters of flame licked down the corridor. The blaze made it nearly impossible to see from either side, but it sure as hell was better to be on this end of the weapon than the other. It sure sounded like some of the Mandos were running and diving from cover, but the sounds of blaster fire and the bolts whizzing past him in the corridor seemed to indicate some of them wouldn't be so easily deterred.

Now, Klied just needed to start picking them off.

Srucayr would weave between the rest of the Ordos up near him, his blade deflecting or parrying most incoming attacks. Within seconds, the last of their corpses would hit the deck. Making his way to where the ropes were, Sru would notice that the woman had begun to stir, and without a seconds thought, she would get flung over the railing. It wouldn't kill her, but it definitely made his job easier of watching her.

Grabbing the rope, he'd leap over the railing and descend landing just in time to hear the hiss of fire. Following the sounds of blasterfire, flames, and screams the War Priest would find the two Outsiders where he loaded up a wrist rocket and fired it through the doorway, the resulting explosion seemingly throwing unwitting Ordos into the path of the flames. "Once we're through this doorway, there will be the hidden escapes. Those won't be in the system blueprints. If they fall back more, that's likely where they'll launch an ambush. Several yards beyond that will be the secondary grid and mainframe, so Tegan might as well join us. Both sides are designed to run separately. That way you can control the fall back."

While Poffo's criticisms about the boy being a smart ass had merit, Klied still couldn't help but smirk a bit at the threat of corrective action. "What's the matter big guy? Afraid of a little competition?" He asked humorously. Mr. Macho certainly never minded making his own remarks after all.

It was then his partner engaged the Ordos in the hall, and their other Mandalorian friend joined them to add to the fire. As Srucayr spoke up Klied nodded and raised his comlink. "You got that kid?" He asked, to which he was given a prompt "On my way." With that business taken care of the Onderonian turned his attention back to the enemy. The flamethrower and rocket had left them reeling, and now was his opportunity to clean up the defensive line to pave their way deeper into the base.

Raising his gauntleted hand in front of his face Klied took a few moments to catch his breath and psych himself up before charging forward. The heat was still very unpleasant, slightly painful even, but the armor did it's job, the flames licking harmlessly across the maalraas hide. When the hunter burst out the other side in front of the barricade, the Ordos were more than a little surprised.

Klied leapt over the hastily assembled crates that made the barricade, kicking a Mandalorian in the head as he did so and knocking the unsuspecting defender to the floor. As he landed he blasted another Ordo on the unarmored section of his inner arm, blowing it off at the elbow and leaving him to collapse screaming. A quick look around showed that a combination of Poffo's fire and Srucayr's rocket had left most of the defenders either dead or running deeper into the base. Looking down at the Mando he had kicked, Klied hooked his boot under the man's helmet and raised it before shooting him in the head. With the defensive line cleared he turned back towards his allies and shouted "Clear!" Tegan would be joining them soon. In the meantime the rest of them could continue moving forward.

"Ooooooh, Yeaaah!" Sauvage yelled as he watched the flames and the rockets and Klied's pinpoint percision take out the Mandalorian enemies left and right. He quickly closed the gap with Klied and finger flourished and flicked his tongue in excitement.

"The Mega Powers! That's what we are, dig it!" He gave Klied a hearty slap on the back. "Mega! Mega in every possible way. megamaniacs! Megacool! Megalodon! And power all the way! Too hot to handle and too cold to hold! My and Sherri here, we're too damn hot, and you're a stone-cold shooter, yeah!"

Of course, he Poffo had to be mindful about hidden escapes and doorways and corridors like the old shaman-like character said. He always assumed the Mandos liked a square up fight. That said, Sauvage might rethink that strategy as well when matched against a crazed man with a flamethrower, a veteran with rockets firing out of his wrist, and a man that could dot the "i" on a piece of parchment from 40 yards.

Poffo looked at Klied and the priest. Poffo wasn't a scientific rocket, but he was smart enough to know when others would be better at the gameplanning. "You want me and Sherri to keep leading the way to roast and toast as we move move forward?"

As Klied advanced, Srucayr would prime another wrist rocket in preparation. "Preferably not in the front from here. They get a shot off on the tank and you'll roast one or two of us." He'd muse as he entered the area where they were. "Keep the kid in the center, I have a feeling we'll be entering a kill box sooner or later." His visor scanned the dead. Ancestral enemies that perhaps could have one day been allies, and perhaps one day could still be. But it wouldn't be today.

Unhooking his tower shield with his left hand, he'd hold it out in front of him, his warpick in his right hand. "We advance, but be mindful of wrist rockets. The shield is beskar, so it should absorb a few of them before it won't." With little other word, he'd begin to move forward, slowly, so as to allow Tegan some time to catch up and get between them.

They would get about sixty meters into the second part of the complex before his pace slowed to a stop, visor scanning. "First ambush zone. Could be nothing, could get sporty." Srucayr would advance to the doorway, shield held high. "Eyes rear." As he crested the threshold, he would make out the sound of a rocket firing and bracing his weight behind the shield, he'd angle it so that the blast from the impact would shoot back into the room before them and not cascade over the top to those behind him. There was a curse at the impact, his boots scraping the durasteel floor as he slid back several feet from the impact.

Behind them, small loopholes in the walls would appear and blasters would slip through before Ordo's began to open fire on the back line of the intruders. Some of the bolts would target the tank on Poffo, hoping to catch him in a pain of his own making. While others targeted Tegan and Klied.

As Poffo slapped him on the back Klied stumbled and almost fell over, turning around to watch as the brawler went into another dramatic soliloquy about how incredible they all were. The hunter grinned beneath his mask, just chuckling in good humor. "Oh we're just getting started." He boasted before turning his attention back to the approaching war priest. Once again Srucayr took charge of the group, giving orders on how they should proceed as though they were under his command. He scowled but said nothing, his expression mostly hidden behind the mask and hood. The directive was logical enough, he wouldn't have suggested differently. And now wasn't the time to get into a debate over leadership.

The Onderonian waited until Tegan returned to them, gesturing for the boy to go ahead of them. Like Poffo, he was not as heavily armored as the others, wearing only a blast vest over his regular clothes. "I'll bring up the rear." Klied informed the kid and Poffo. "Poffo keep an eye out to the left, Tegan you've got right." The boy would simply nod in compliance, seemingly getting more excited over this whole operation. With that he would fall in as the group advanced.

As expected, it wasn't long until they ran into another ambush. While Srucayr focused on defending their front, Klied's keen senses picked up quite quickly on the sound of the blasters being cocked from behind. "Heads up!" He shouted to his companions as he quickly maneuvered himself between the blasters and Tegan, taking a glancing shot to the torso, which his armor absorbed. The hunter grunted in pain and closed one eye, raising his pistol and firing a single shot. The laser bolt exploded the barrel of one of the blasters slipped through the holes, drawing a pained yelp from behind the wall. Tegan likewise raised his blasters and fired at the loopholes, but was less accurate. His grouping was good, but none of them hit the small mark. "Roast those rats in the wall!" Klied shouted to Poffo, nodding his head towards the one open loophole he had cleared.
