[Ajax Lawson]

Coruscant's Lower Levels, 0000 Hours...

This was Ajax's first job since having been manned up with APEX. Though this job wasn't taken by APEX. Instead it was taken by himself to keep the APEX name out of trouble. The man needed money too, what could he say? 50 stacks ain't some joke. This was the real deal he had been looking for. Plus, daddy wants a new PC. Pulling up his bounty puck and turning it on, it showed the face of his target. Xim Ziton, leader of the Black Enders. Plenty of goons around him. The man had money.

Ajax only knew that his number was being called, and it was time to punch his ticket. Checking his weapons and armor set he sat in a back alley a few streets away from his target's hideout. Ajax had to wait for the other hunter to show up. If he went it alone, it would mean he was gonna face his death. With his partners though, it'd be wrap. "Where are you fuckers at?" He mumbled as he waited. His blaster pistol in hand, as he was cleaning it.

[Aden Archer]

"I'm right here" Aden said, appearing from a shadowed part of the ally, revealing himself. He would recognize the other figure as the other bounty hunter who called others here. He is heavily armed and armored. "Ajax?" he asked to confirm. The spacer isn't the one to be late for a bounty hunting. He'd be punctual as a matter of fact. Opportunity to make sure he's ready, gear checked, maybe scope out the place; getting a feel for what's up ahead. Aden would be wearing his new set of armor and the rest of his bounty hunter kit, he would be holding his helmet with his left arm with his rifle slinged on his right shoulder.

It's not often that Aden finds himself planetside on Coruscant, even less in the underbelly of it. The smell, the poverty, the scum. Ugh.

So the bounty is on Xim Ziton, the streetboss of the Black Enders. Xim Ziton is wanted alive, not dead. Luckily Aden's main weapon isn't a lethal one. This bounty is modest one, but it doubles if their 'secret' spice lab is destroyed. Aden didn't want to risk smuggling military-grade explosives for this mark such as demolition charges, plasma grenades, or thermal detonators through the multitude levels of security on Courscant. But it may not be needed. After all labs involving drugs or spice tend to involve things that explode or be really flamable. Maybe doubly so since with both.

Suffice it to say Aden is ready.

[Kotii Solus]

Spoiler: Ambience

Claiming a bounty in the core had its difficulties. For one thing, Kotii found he had less weaponry at his disposal. The Mandalorian did not want to risk going to jail and thus, left any illegal weaponry behind. The client wanted Xim Ziton alive anyways which meant the Solus had to use a softer touch.

This was not the first time Kotii had come to Coruscant. In fact he wanted to establish a covert on the planet. But if that was not possible then what he planned to expand on as a hideout could be donated to the Proletariat Bounty Hunter's Guild. Not many people remembered Sentinel Hotel and its history of assassination but its building still served as a forgotten hiding hole.

Using his bounty hunting alias for this job, Kotii's partners would not recognize him but might be familiar with his name Black Hand. Kotii had recently gained a new helmet and set of armor when last visiting Mandalore. Aside from the name, the badger doubted anybody would be able to distinguish him from any other Mandalorian.

Black Hand had a DC-17 hand blaster holstered on either hip instead of slug throwers or heavy blasters and a "foe-sweeper" scatter blaster secured beside his jetpack, replacing his normal sniper blaster for the purposes of this job.

With nothing in his hands, Black Hand descended from overhead as his jetpack brought him down beside the waiting hunters. The thrusters of his jetpack became dark and silent as the Mandalorian came to a stop near his partners. The Solus was glad he did not need to check every back alley or else he would have probably spent the better half the of the day, or night, or whatever it was down here.

[Vyr Zenos]

Vyr arrived on Coruscant and promptly made his way to the meeting place. He preferred to stay in the outer rim, but the job had been one he didn’t want to pass up. Ziton was a fairly prolific target and the credits on offer weren’t too bad. Ziton was also wanted alive, which added an extra challenge.

Vyr wore his armour, as he preferred to do. Fortunately, on the lower levels of Coruscant, it didn’t draw the sort of attention it would up above. He carried his two blasters, both holstered.

Closing in on the meeting place, a small back alley, he spotted three individuals. The one that immediately stood out was the individual in Mandalorian armour. Tall. Well-armed. One of the others was very large and wore camouflage pattern armour. The remaining one appeared to be a similar height to Vyr, though it was difficult to tell at a distance. They didn’t have their helmet on, so, as he moved closer, he could see they were male.

Vyr greeted the other hunters with a respectful nod of the head.

[Ajax Lawson]

As Ajax was waiting, he heard an answer to his question immediately. Looking up to see Aden he jumped a little and relaxed after, "How long you been standing there guy?" Shaking his head he gave a nervous chuckle and placed his helmet on the ground next to him. It was good to know at least one was on time.

Then the other two showed up. Both being Mandalorian. "Alright cool, so we got our frontliners here. Now," pulling out his datapad to show a map of the area and next to it the blueprints to the warehouse, "Ziton's warehouse is here, and we're riiiiight here. So you two," Ajax pointed at the two Mandalorians. "The plan is you'll go in, your armor is superior to ours and can last longer. You'll take on the head of the force and keep their attention. Aden idk what you're capable of, but we need someone to sneak past and get to the lab. I can take out as many as I can with my sniper."

He looked around and asked the others, "Any questions, bitches, gripes complaints?" He figured his plan would've been inferior to whatever is suggested after but it worth a shot trying to take lead. This contract was getting completed one way or another. But however they do it, it needed to be quick. Otherwise whatever goons that aren't inside might make it back and make it a two fronted fight.

[Aden Archer]

"For awhile now" Aden smiled as he jest.

Aden watched as the Mandalorians appeared, nodding back when one of them did. So Ajax enlisted two Mandalorians for help. For a peoples who are not very common, who are a declining people as far as he knows, Aden sees an awful lot of them in his travels. But not a bad thing, as Mandalorians are known for their prowess, as warriors and bounty hunters.

Ajax told them the plan, the Mandalorians are going to be the main fighters, Ajax is a sniper, and it looks like that leaves Aden out as being the one to sneak into the lab. Aden himself is pretty well armed and he's wearing medium armor with blue plating, plus he's not much of a stealth expert. But then again, if the Mandalorians occupy their attention, then Aden should be able to slip away, especially with sniper overwatch.

"Their hideout is well guarded. If the guards are distracted and occupied though, i'll be able to slip by and get to the lab." Where in the hideout their lab is, he doesn't know, as it is secret, but it's supposed to be there.

[Ajax Lawson]

Ajax nodded to Aden and then spoke up, "Alright cool. Now let's get into position real quick. There's an alley looking head on at the main entrance. I'll be ready to fire in at any of the goons from the alley with my sniper." He would point to the Mandalorians once more, "All I need is for you guys to open the bitch up."

Turning to Aden, "We'll all be taking on these guys so it should keep them from focusing on you, and if they do then I can smoke 'em from a distance. I'll be moving in as we go further the entire mission. Once I'm in close quarters I'll be blasting the pistol with you guys." The group of bounty hunters would be there and Ajax looked for any replies. Seemed like another one over of the plan, but sometimes it was good to go over it another time with it simplified so everyone knew their roles.

"We good?"

[Aden Archer]

"I'm good. I'll begin to take position. I'll be on coms" Aden said. With nothing more to say, assuming the rest are fine with the plan, Aden would move over and begin to take position to be ready to sneak in, putting on his helmet, while the others deal with the target.

He would then take the alley where Ajax can provide sniper overwatch from. He would then begin to reach the perimeter of the criminal hide out, he would lean himself against a turn in the alley to the left, around the corner, he could see there are a little more than a dozen guards in the criminal base. They may be on the lookout and or on patrol, but the darkness of the underbelly, lack of lighting, and positioning made Aden hard to pick out. He can see the main building, that's probably where the head honcho is. He would move along the alley intersection, going a route that would let him flank the Enders base and enable to him sneak in that way.

"Almost in position to sneak in" he said. Once the others start blasting, then it will be time for Aden to make his move.

[Vyr Zenos]

The large figure in the camouflage armour began to relay instructions, as Vyr listened. Guess this is Ajax. Vyr was fine with being part of the frontal assault. He just wanted to make sure the job got done properly. “No complaints from me.” His helmet gave his voice a slightly synthesised rasp.

It seemed that there was an alley leading up to the entrance. He and the other in Mandalorian armour would attack the entrance, with Ajax providing overwatch.

“I’m ready,” he replied to Ajax’s question.

He looked over at the other figure in Mandalorian armour. They'll know what they’re doing.

Moving swiftly, Vyr positioned himself at the end of the alley. He peered around the corner, looking at the entrance in the distance. He was ready to attack but waited to see if the Mandalorian with him wanted to initiate the assault.

[Kotii Solus]

"Mm" Kotii remained silent for a few moments after Ajax explained his plan. The Mandalorian had a feeling he was one of the older members present, though he could not be sure about the other Mandalorian. Then again there were plenty of long-lived races that could look young. Still, that did not give him a sense of comfort when he heard the fellow bounty hunter talk. This job was already whispering 'regret' in his ear. I bet if I pulled the trigger on your armor and then mine the same number of times it wouldn't be any different. The reason I last longer is because I'm- He kept the thought to himself despite being the one at risk. Except for his vambraces, the rest of his armor was duraplast plates. But this was a job for a Mandalorian and who better to do it than a Solus. Kotii did not give a kark.

"Hm" The Echani-Offshoot further cocked an eyebrow when hearing the others pitch in. Black Hand was becoming confident these were a bunch of scrubs he was working with. Then again what did he expect when working with non-Mandalorians. Vyr Zenos was not a familiar name to Kotii but at least they were Mandalorian, he hoped. This was the Hunter's first job with these knuckleheads but he wondered where the test in this job was for him, aside from the one being made for his patience.

Rather than delay this any further Kotii decided to go with Ajax's plan. The man had improvised, adapted and overcome far worse. Unlike those times in the past, he was now getting paid. If he had one wish it was to have heavier weapons on Coruscant without consequence. Until that wish was granted the bounty hunter was limited to being creative.

Kotii walked down the alleyway towards the entrance without a weapon in his hand. He unclipped a small device from his belt and held connected it to a panel beside the front door to rapidly slice through its limited security. After a few heartbeats the door would be unlocked and the Mandalorians would be allowed to freely walk into the lab.

Of course Black Hand knew it would not be that easy. The moment the front door was opened he would pull a stun gas grenade from his belt and chuck it deep into the enemy hideout. The enclosed space and surprise gassing would lead to a large number if not all the individuals immediately inside to fall unconscious. Kotii held the angle at the door with his foesweeper leveled at the corner and a flashbang grenade on standby. If any Black Enders came into view they would get a double tap shot from the Mandalorian's scatterblaster. The trick to being a good bounty hunter was not quality armor, it was not getting shot in the first place and taking your enemy out before they can do the same to you. Ajax would learn that in time. "Move up."

[Ajax Lawson]

Watching everyone get into position, the Apex hunter would scope in and watch as Black Hand tossed a gas grenade of sorts into the room. "Well done." He would whisper into their comms. Though now they had to rush in. He could figures fall in the room from where he was set up, but couldn't see too far in from the gas. Switching to his thermal he would see a couple still up as they held onto the desks next to them. Switching his sniper to stun he would fire two shots in and hit the two still up. With the gas it wouldn't be easy to spot Xim.

Once the two would drop Ajax would speak into the comms, "Make sure Xim isn't there. I doubt he is, but it doesn't hurt." With that he would get moving towards the building a little at a time, stopping and kneeling and scoping to make sure the stealth entrance of Aden was going to plan.

The second any blaster are shot, or the other Black Enders notice the gas/ knocked out Black Ender, they would begin to open fire on anyone that wasn't a part of their crew. "Careful in there. I got your six."

[Aden Archer]

Aden saw a entrance off to the side that was guarded by two Enders. Aden was cloaked in shadows, moving quietly, lowering his profile, and taking cover. He wouldn't say he is an expert in stealth, but he knew how to hide decently enough, this allowed him to go unnoticed by the guards.

The lab might be in there, it's guarded. Getting past them two in a stealthy manner might be challenging with their backs to a wall, and not having a lot of equipment that can take them out from a distance without making some noise.

But however, however faint, the sound of two shots rung out "Did you hear that?""Yeah""We better go check it out" the two would then leave their posts, with their blasters up, heading in the direction they thought they heard the shots. They most likely won't be able to to find the exact source, since it's a sniper firing from afar. But nonetheless this was an opportunity that Aden had to take. Aden would get from his cover and then move as swiftly and gracefully as he can.

He'd open the door, and then draw out his slinged Lightning Rifle and begin his decent downstairs into the basement "I'm inside, going downstairs into a basement area." he stated quietly, relaying to his team on comms. the basement, but not before shutting it behind him. "I think the lab is down here" he followed up with.

He did come across one enforcer in there, wearing heavy armor and has four arms, who was sitting down on a crate. He would begin to get up "Hey, you are not supposed to be here" while attempting to draw his four weapons. Aden wouldn't hesistate before pulling the trigger of his weapon, shooting out a bolt of lightning that would shock the brute. And another one for good measure. Now Aden can continue.

Unless this is like some sort of elaborate underground base like in the holofilms, this shouldn't be much further.

[Kotii Solus]

Breaching and clearing was a process Kotii Solus was well versed in. The man had led a boarding action which had yielded a lictor class dungeon ship for House Solus in the end. That operation was not even with the help of a basilisk war droid but still they had managed to clear each room and compartment while dealing with depressurization and hostiles among other things. This was a walk in the park compared to that.

Ajax struck a few targets saving Kotii the trouble. The stun gas was mostly translucent and not as thick as dedicated smoke grenade and soon allow the distant marksman an easier view. Kotii had his smoke grenade remain on his belt for now and fired his foe sweeper into a Falleen intent on drawing his sidearm before he passed out. The wide beam of stunning energy hit the gangster in his torso, sending him back onto his stomach from whence he had tried to rise.

Set on tables or leaning against a few walls at the edges of the rooms were RKSF-44 heavy blaster pistols and electrostaves. There were crates hinting at more hardware leading the badger to believe the Black Enders had recently pulled of an arms deal and shouldn't be underestimated as a result. Some were close at hand near the defeated Falleen criminals but Kotii's boot kicked them away and moved deeper into the building. "Foyer is clear."

The Mandalorian continued inside and fired his foesweeper four more times. Two guards came around the corner after hearing the commotion but it was too little too late. Each of them received two sprays of neutralizing blue-tinted energy, clotheslining them and dropping them to the ground in heavy heaps. The stun scatterblaster was half empty but it need not be fired a sixth time, yet. The Mandalorian took point as the hunting squad delved deeper into one of the Lower Five's hideouts. He expected Xim Ziton to pop out at any moment but he could be anywhere in the building and well armed by the looks of it.

[Vyr Zenos]

Vyr followed the Mandalorian into the target’s hideout. They had encountered no resistance in the alleyway and the entrance was sliced into with ease. The stun gas took care of most of the opposition they would have faced upon entering. He pulled out his blasters and helped pick off the few stragglers.

Moving inside, he stood over a Rodian that was trying to crawl away and shot them through the back of the head. Surveying his surroundings, he noticed the cache of equipment that they had amassed. Not a bad loadout.

Moving deeper into the hideout, he remained vigilant as the other one with him took point. As they turned a corner and moved past a door, it slid open and a guard wielding an electrostaff lunged at Vyr. Ducking down and allowing their wild swing to go over his head, he pushed off his back foot and delivered a powerful elbow to the guard’s nose. Hearing a loud crunching noise as he made impact, the guard’s body then fell back and hit the ground. A second guard appeared in the doorway and took aim with a rifle. Reacting quickly, Vyr unloaded a shot into their leg. The guard dropped to the floor and let out a pained cry. Vyr delivered a kick to their head, knocking them out. Stepping into the doorway, with his blasters ready, the room appeared empty. A quick check confirmed that it was.

Stepping back into the corridor, he moved to rejoin the other bounty hunter.

[Aden Archer]

He came around the corner slowly and cautiously while descending more steps, with his lightning rifle in both hands, ready to fire at any threats he gets in his sights. At the end of the steps, he would round another corner and his weapon would be leveled and ready.

And then he would find it, the spice lab. It smelled really bad. There were workers lined up on the various workstations, some facilities, and then a bunch of shelving and closed off areas. "I found the spice lab." he said on the coms. In addition to the workers, there were two heavily armored guards with rifles.

With low amounts of cover and having got their attention, Aden thought fast. He would toss out a frag grenade over towards them at the same time as the first blaster bolts were fired, and then he would back away.

Workers would cower and scatter, ducking and covering or running around like mindless chickens as combat in the labs started. The Enforcers would also try to avoid the grenade, but it was to no avail, as the grenade exploded, it also caught with-in in it's radius one of the work stations containing some highly volatile product. It wouldn't be just an explosion with sharpnal, it would be a larger fiery explosion that would consume some of the workers and the enforcers. The explosion would shake the building, even the spacer was staggered.

For Aden's part, he would be gritting in discomfort and burns from a blaster bolt shot he took to the right side of his chest. A large scorching mark where his armor mitigated damage, although he could still feel the burns and felt the impact behind the shot.

"Now destroying this spice lab." Although there are fires in a section of the lab and poised to spread, Aden will make sure it's completely destroyed.

[Ajax Lawson]

Ajax would pop off his shots at any and all of Xim's crew that posed a threat to his bounty hunting allies. Watching the Mando's make their way through, he felt it was time to move into the building himself. Making his way forward he would sling his sniper across his back and pull out his blaster pistol. It was time for himself to get itty and gritty.

Aden's comms would confirm the spice lab was getting destroyed. Ajax would be quick to reply "Good work Archer. Let us know if you need assistance." Blackhand's comms confirmed the foyer was good. A shame they hadn't found Xim yet, nevertheless they had to fight through.

"Alright, Blackhand, Vyr, let's get to Xim. If he wasn't nearby then he would have to be in his loft on the third floor." Ajax caught up to the Mandos and begin blasting his blaster at any and all thugs in sight. Taking cover whenever they fired back as well. He would prep a stun grenade and call out, "Tossin a stunner!" Just so his allies didn't get caught up by the shock.

[Vyr Zenos]

Moving through the corridors alongside the Mandalorian, they eventually encountered heavier resistance. Vyr ducked into cover behind a container which presumably stored more of the weapons that the Black Enders had obtained. The cramped interior of the Black Enders hideout made it impractical to use his jet pack, taking away one his strengths. He was able to take pot shots at the gang members, when he leaned out of cover. Shooting with great accuracy, he was able to pick off quite a few before Ajax arrived.

When his fellow bounty hunter threw a stun grenade, it presented an opportunity. He vaulted over the container and advanced on three thugs. A single shot from his left blaster felled one and a double tap from his right blaster sent two shots crashing into another thug’s chest. Before the other could turn and fire, he unleashed a volley of shots at them from both his blasters. Their dead body collapsed to the floor. Before the other Black Enders could turn and fire on him, he dived into cover behind the makeshift barricade that the thugs he had just killed had been using.

[Kotii Solus]

Black Hand continued into the gang's hideout steadily, his scatterblaster at the ready. The two Mandalorians advanced into the neighboring rooms, firing weapons and covering one another to take down thug after thug. <"Reloading"> he spoke in Mando'a to Vyr, letting him know when to cover and when to take cover.

Popping back out of cover with fresh ammo in his weapon, the Exile did not even slow down as the stun gas grenade was hurled past his head and into the thick of a room. Kotii saw their target, his target, look startled at the flying object and the silouhette of the plate-clad Mandalorian marching towards him. "Grenade!" He yelled to his fellow Falleens that desperately took cover behind tables, crates and other objects.

The grenade would trigger and burst its compliment of stun gas instantaneously through the room in a fine, but transparent mist. Their coughing and few cries of 'gas' echoed. But they would soon be silenced as the Solus walked into the room and fired steadily into the weakening Black Enders as they inhaled the stunning gas. The red painted helmet of the Mandalorian had a filter which kept the affects from reaching Kotii's lungs. Firing a short distance, point blank in some case, Kotii cleared the room of enemies one after another, stopping only when it became quiet and there were no other moving targets. His scatterblaster one again needed to be reloaded but before doing so he stared down at the Falleen under one boot. "I have the target."

Xim Ziton's eyes had rolled into the back of his head and was no probably dreaming of a far better place than where he was headed. Sliding in a new tibanna gas container into the badger's weapon Kotii looked over his shoulder towards Ajax and Vyr. The three of them could meet Aden and finish clearing the rest of the hideout in a matter of minutes if that was still their prerogative. But the Mandalorian would bend down, and slap a set of stun cuffs on the gang boss for good measure.

[Aden Archer]

With nothing left to stop him, Aden would then move over to another part of the spice lab. He is wishing he had some more explosive weapons on him, but he thinks what he has on him will suffice. One section is up in flames, now just need to make sure the rest of it is as well.

At this point, any workers would have scattered, leaving Aden by himself to do as he pleases. Luckily he has one option to deal with it, and it's literally over his shoulder. Making sure he's at a safe distance, as far away as possible, he bend over forward. With that, he would then proceed to launch the missile mounted on the top of his jetpack. It would fly and once it collides, it would make a big explosion, and then workstations in the spice labs would explode in a cascade of 'fireworks'.

"Spice lab is no more" he said into his helmet comlink, smirking beneath his helmet.

With that, Aden would exit out the way he came from "We have the bounty target?" he asked. "Lets get out of here then." he said if so. Aside from the Spice Lab, which is no longer exists, the target is the only thing that matters. They don't need to kill every last Ender that might be around

[Ajax Lawson]

As Ajax let the stunner go, he heard the blast hit and then the Mandos moved in. Ajax stayed back to provide the overwatch to help get Xim. Firing his shots he'd watch as he felled one, two then three. It was becoming an onslaught courtesy of the Bounty Hunters present. Listening on his comms he would hear not only that Aden got the spice lab, but Xim had been picked up by Blackhand.

"Wooo, let's get the hell out of here then!" He would fire down range as he motioned for the Mandos to move his way with Xim Ziton. "Keep him alive if possible. These other joes weren't the mission." Once the Mandos would move past him, he was sure Aden was on his way as well. Ajax would begin making his way out tossing a couple incendiaries to block the path to get to them and hopefully distract the Enders by making them want to save their hideout.

Things were running smoothly, and he had the three others to thank. If he came here with any less it'd be a shitshow for sure. Now he knew if he needed any of these guys for another hunt, he could count on them to be there and handle business. Speaking into the comms as he made it back to the main entrance he'd add a little light hearted humor to the chaos, "Y'all wanna hit Bobbies Burgers after we turn the sucker in?"
