Vyr continued to pick off more of the opposition, as Kotii moved ahead to capture Xim Ziton. Vyr moved swiftly, as he gunned down members of Ziton’s crew.
“Good, let’s book,” he stated in reply to Kotii’s confirmation that the target was acquired. He heard Aden’s confirmation that the spice lab had been destroyed. “No point in hanging around here.”
He advanced ahead of Ajax, quickly glancing back as the other hunter threw incendiary grenades to cover their exit. As they finished moving down a flight of stairs, he noticed a group of the gang members gathering at the end of a hallway. They were moving into cover, in some sort of last-ditch effort to offer some resistance. No point in wasting time on them. Setting himself, he prepared the wrist rocket and fired it at the ground near to their feet. The explosion engulfed some of the gang members and the force from it slammed the others against the walls and ceiling, incapacitating them.
He didn’t encounter too much resistance after that and soon joined Ajax at the main entrance.
“Maybe. If they still do the Sullust Shake. Or is that more of a seasonal thing,” he remarked light-heartedly, in response to Ajax’s comment.
