I just want to note that anything said or done with my character doesn't necessarily (and probably just doesn't) reflect my own views, perspective, opinions or thoughts on any issue. I'm going to be RPing him as realistically as I can and keep in mind his people and system when making decisions and whatever.
Don't get overly offended by what he might say. In fact, if you have a problem with him then I probably do too! ^^

One thing I would put forward, and this isn’t directed at you Mav just anyone in general (your comment reminded me of this), is that the Senates of past timelines have been very anti-Jedi because it was an easy cheap shot. They were also anti-Jedi for no good reason. We’ve established, and have established nothing to the contrary, that the Jedi are not unpopular in this timeline. This is a timeline where the Jedi have been around in the affairs of the government for thousands upon thousands of years, and this is a timeline where people know the consequences of turning against the Jedi (i.e. Order 66).

I do not want to see some sort of massive anti-Jedi sentiment from this Congress, or it will only tell me that this Congress is no different than past timelines. Anti-Jedi sentiment like last timeline just does not make sense.

John Ryan isn't a fan of the Jedi's because of his past, but he isn't simply going to vote anti-Jedi. I just wanted to make that noted.
