[Ru the Boatswain]

Abele slipped out a small camera and making sure to not have any kind of lights turned on it took a small picture. Good fun picture to show him later, maybe all-in-good-fun-blackmail. The two were too cute together and she picked up her drink and stood out of the way.

 

[Niner]

Jason Nite, republic seargeant and ace sniper landed in the street outside the dark bar, "HEY! HE STARTED IT!" He shouted into the building.
"Wookies, sore losers." he mumbled
He brushed the dirt off his camo pants and brown shirt and decided to try his luck elswere, in a city this big,there was bound to be someplace else.
He found the small little bar that he frequented sometimes, the one bad thing about it was the officers that were often there, but he had been kicked out of all the other places in this district, and it was still early yet. He walked into the bar and skirted a couple that looked in the middle of something emotianal, he tried not to think about emotions, his often came back to bite him, ever since his family was killed.
He sat down at the bar and tried to ignore the sobbing girl behind him, "Ale, and NO water added."

 

[Emma Lou]

Calleigh let herself get lost in his kiss, but it didn't last long before she heard Cori's voice break the moment of love.

"You realize that you would have never lost her if you'd just married her before you left to become a soldier"

Calleigh didn't want to see a fight start, because she knew Cori would probably win. He stood about 4 inches taller then Brenden and was all muscle.

 

[Ols]

Brendon looked at the taller man, "Who are you?!" he said, angry that he had ruined their meeting. He thought about what he had said. He had come back to be with her, when he was on leave from the academy, but they had always wanted to marry once he had graduated. But when he did a murderer intervened.

 

[Emma Lou]

"I'm the person that has been taking care of her for the past 2 years and teaching her how to survive on this harsh world"

 

[Ols]

"Are you her boyfriend?" he asked, wondering why he disliked a complete stranger so much.

 

[Emma Lou]

Cori laughed and Calleigh let out a small chuckle as well.

"No, she has turned me down more times then I can count. She only loves you for some unknown reason"

 

[Ols]

"Well if your not her boyfriend, what's your problem? In case you hadn't noticed I've just been reunited with the love of my life, who I thought was dead and you seem to be trying to ruin it," he said, confidently, finding what he called his military tone. He did not want a fight, but this man seemed to dislike him, which was understandable given he had tried to be with Calleigh and she had turned him down for himself.

 

[Emma Lou]

"Why do I care? For the last 2 years I have been the only friend she had. I've seen her cry, laugh, and kill. I've been here for her when you were off fighting for people who couldn't care if you lived or died"

 

[Ols]

He wondered what Calleigh had to say, she was staying quiet for the time being.

"My family got caught up in the crossfire of this war, and so did hers," he gestured to Calleigh, "and I'm fighting so no-one else has to experience my pain. So no other innocents are killed for no reason," then he paused, "wait...did you say she's killed? Calleigh, who have you killed?"

 

[Emma Lou]

If looks could kill then Cori would be dead right now. She looked back at Brenden and nodded slowly.

"Yes, but its what I had to do to survive"

 

[Ols]

"Who did you need to kill to survive?" he asked. He realised he was hardly one to talk, being a soldier and all. And then a thought suddenly struck him and he turned to the man, "How would us being married have changed anything? The murderer would still have gone to my home and slaughtered our families!"

 

[Emma Lou]

Calleigh could see that they were starting to attract more attention.

"Can we go to my apartment and talk about this?"

 

[Ols]

"Yeah sure," he said, delighted he could spend some time with her. They left together and he offered her his hand as they walked, following Calleigh's friend. He had completely forgotten about his companion, but perhaps there would be someone else for her to talk to, like the loudmouth at the bar.

 

[Ru the Boatswain]

"See ya."she whispered after him. Paying for his drink she sat down at the bar because new patrons had taken her last seat. Finishing her drink she tapped the bartender and got a new drink. Checking her timepiece, Two and a half hours left 'til I've got to be back. She turned back to her lonely drink and stared at it, obviously there weren't many interesting things happening in the bar.

 

[Niner]

Jason gulped down his drink and turned to look at the woman that had just sat down next to him.
"Hey, I'm Jason Nite, what's your name?"

 

[Ru the Boatswain]

It took her a moment to register that she was being talked to, "Oh, I'm Abele, I've seen you around the base. I've never seen you off of the base though. What brings you here?" she took a sip from here drink and she was sure to make eye contact.

 

[Emma Lou]

Calleigh took his hand and they walked into the lower sections of Coruscant. She was kind of ashamed to bring him to her apartment, because it was in a really bad part. She said goodbye to Cori at the door and he promised to comm her later.

She led Brenden into the apartment and the lights came on. It was small and barely furnished, but she led him over to the couch.

Jason looked her in the eyes, "Well, you know, this is the only one I haven't been kicked out of tonight. So, you live on base?"
