Former Chairman of CNN sells majority stake

In a shocking move, the former Chairman of the Czerka News Network, and mogul of the Corporate Alliance has sold his majority stake in the group, and returned to Republic Space. Informing people, in a press conference that 'I am kind of a big deal.', the renowned Gambler, turned Senator turned ~~make your mind up already~~ Corporate Big Whig is understood to have made a deal with key figures within the Senate. He is understood to be using his vast fortune to sponsor a new wave of Bounty Hunters for the Republic saying earlier today.

''Well, you know - I liked Coruscant, like a lot. You know? So I thought, why not stick it to the Sith real good, you know? You know what I am saying? So, I am personally going to double any bounty, and fund the equipment and training for new Hunters gunning for the Sith. You know?''

Corporate Alliance Collapses

Massive Corporate Conglomerate Falls into Debt and Bankrupcy

Folllowing a mere month of operation, the Corporate Alliance has collapsed after it emerged that vast amounts of the companies funds had been redirected into the hands of the Desilijic Crime Family.. Millions of jobs have ben lost, and more than three star systems are reported to have filed for insolvency; with damages and starvation rife, as factories close their doors on millions. The Desilijic Crime Family (@Taz @Meckabro @Pulsar @Captain Hook @StratusGold) have so far been unavailable for comment, although rumours are abound that renowned Criminal, Nor'baal Desilijic Koragga has been spotted entertaining with the leader of the fringe group, known as the 'Void Serpants' (@Retroboy).

Sabotage on Gorse

Thousands killed; Chancellor yet to comment.

Hundreds have been killed in a shock attack on the world of Gorse, with Sith involvement heavily suspected. Whilst the Chancellor has yet to comment, suggestions are that he will strongly condemn the attacks (@Fyremage). The attack took place on a factory that is key to the Republics continuing victories against the invading Sith menace; and the factories ruination could set back the inbound blistering counter attack against the Sith by several weeks, if not longer.

The construction of warships is reported (@Sivaprasad) in recent days as a direct result of the attack.

We will bring you more on this evolving story once information becomes available.

Cowardly Sith perish in conflagration!

In a move that has shocked many, famed and beloved hero Corvo Vis has brought the Sith Imperium to its knees, killing countless members of the Sith Leadership. With rumours abound that the Sith Dark Lord begged for mercy, before crawling away from the fiery crater that was the Moffs meeting room - the Republic Celebrates a resounding blow that has been dealt to the enemy! Two Sith Lords perished in the explosion, which took place during a meeting of the Imperial High Command, alongside two Immortals, the Grand Moff and a further three Moffs.

The Emperor, regrettably, is still alive, although he is reported to have suffered several abdominal injuries whilst the location itself is reported to have suffered severe damage. We spoke to an expert in Moff related deaths, history Professor Zaphod Beeblebrox, who had nothing useful to add. What we have been able to uncover however, is that renowned and beloved hero, Corvo Vis, alongside his brave sidekick, Mala Arpha are meant to have orchestrated the attack.

With calls growing for Corvo to be declared a Hero of the Republic, and Malak to be given a medal or something, we here at CNN cannot thank them enough for delivering the most deadly blow to the Sith in recent memory - as well as setting the course to turn the tide in a war that has cost the lives of many.

Spate of Jedi Attacks leaves Empire Reeling

Warlord Captured, Two Sith die in Sister Attack

The Imperial Warlord has been captured by Jedi fugitives mere months after the Moff Council disaster. Imperial Officials have yet to comment on the remarkably similar attacks, and whilst the Jedi have yet to disclose any details on the location of the Imperial Warlord, the Empire informs CNN that a rescue is well underway*. Visual feeds from CNN news drones in the area, as well as Commlink Smart-Footage from local civilians (who felt it prudent to record the attack rather than run away from it) show the Warlord sustained heavy injuries before being captured, having lost both his legs in the attack.

This incursion has not been the only victory the Jedi Rebels have enjoyed in recent weeks, with the rebuilding of their temple on Jehda being well under way as well. Whilst the Temple pales in comparison to the awe-inspiring Sith Temple on Korriban, here at CNN we congratulate the Jedi for at least trying.
