InvestiCorp Purchases Debt Package from ADI​

In news that has come as a suprise to many in the Corporate Sector, InvestiCorp (IVC) has today announced that it will personally be reservicing the large debts of ADI. The news comes days after it partnered with an anonymous investor to restructure the share value of the company, which for many years has been heralded as being at the forefront of its field. Heavy borrowing however saw the company struggle to manage its income, which has lead to a drop in share value.

IVC shares are up on the news that Voren Makr managed to secure the debt payments for two parts on the credit, with rumours rife that he may be seeking to sho.....

MASSACRE CONTINUES​

Commencing at peak travel times, the attack, executed by members of the Sacred Band (the military arm of the Sith Order), is still underway. The small team (@Prudence) has infiltrated the spaceport through one of the main conventional entrance points, showing a great disregard for the security operations in place - with a more organised response team having yet to react due to the haste of the attack.

CNN is currently unsure of the motivation behind the attack, which comes as the Republic (@Fyreleader) has continued to counteract the terrorist actions of the Sith and their allies. This latest terrorist outrage appears to have no sensible motivation, as with the two powers currently at loggerheads, further outrage serves little purpose than to increase collateral damage.

The attack continues, with the Senator for Coruscant having been executed by the attackers, on footage republic authorities have requested not be shown. Several noted figures within the republic are expected to comment later today on this shocking attack, which has seen many dead, and a prominent republic figure executed.

Within the video the attackers appear to yet again demand that the republic halt its alliance with the Jedi Order.

Chairman Voren Makr is reported to have not cancelled his planned trip through the effected star system, with sources saying the Chairman is outraged, but was reported to have said to his assistant and staff "[he]...will be dead before I bow to terrorism."

BREAKING - VOREN MAKR DEAD

Early reports from the war torn world of Alpherides show that Voren Makr, former Chairman and CEO of the Czerka Corporation has died. The man, who was there working alongside the Republic to repel a Sith invasion, was shot in combat, and died instantly. Unfortunately the nature of his assailant is unknown.

Voren, who oversaw the creation and growth of the CNN group, in addition to numerous lines of the Czerka corporation, which under his leadership became the largest company in the Republic, will he remembered for his support for the Republic and for free trade and business.

He serves as a Senator for Anaxes, and Defense Secretary, during which time he founded the Grand Army of the Republic to counteract a Sith invasion. News of the death was met with mixed reactions across the Galaxy.

OOC - I am now opening this thread for responses from characters that knew Voren. I will wrap up Vorens threads, and will not be entering any more with him. Many thanks to all who contributed to his long and fun story.

Lars' breath stopped for a second. He couldn't believe his eyes, so he read it all again. He didn't show any emotion outwardly besides surprise, but he felt that something inside him had been broken very badly. Him and Voren weren't close, no... but Voren was still the closest person Lars had in his life. This man should have lasted forever and endured anything...

Lars stood up and let out a deep breath. The last column of support in his life is gone. And he still did not repay him all. But, he will do something, at least. Rik'tar, his bodyguard and one of the few Loyalists left, raised eyebrows.

"Where are ye going, boss?" he asked Lars. Both him and Lars knew that no man in the Galaxy deserves the title of Director anymore. Lars sighed.

"Listen, Rik'tar, stay here along with the boys. I promise to find us better work soon. But first, I need to take care of business on Alpherides... alone." With that, Lars headed for the nearest freighter that belonged to a young smuggler working for him. With coldness in his heart, he went to bury a friend.

The droid looked over some intelligence reports. A recent upload of galactic information was crucial to calculating any risks that need to take. There was no screen of display as the information was being placed directly into his memory via a physical link. When the news of his former Master was presented something within the droid failed. An error occurred and it was found later staring at a wall with a torn cable plugged into its neck. Technicians retrieved the file and removed it.

The droid returned to compiling data on the latest military activity none the wiser to the destruction of the man he had called Master.

...the murder shocked many as the Killer Chevin Clown Craze continues to sweep the Core Worlds. Police are advising people to stay inside, as a praticularly violent sample of the Clown Population, known only as Dimi'trey terrorizes to upper districts of Coruscant.

SITH LORD SLAIN* BY VALIANT REPUBLIC​

Following the nigh constant massacres of Republic Worlds by the cowardly Sith, Talia Al'Saif, a stalwart defender of the Republic has defeated one of the Siths most powerful Lords. The Sith (who cannot be named for legal reasons), was reported to have arrogantly bragged before being set on fire in a gallant and robust move by the GAR Trooper. Talia, who was unavailable for comment at the time, due to her tireless work to continue to help those in need in the aftermath of the Sith desecration of Republic Worlds, has been lauded by numerous Senators and Military Leaders alike, as 'The Greatest Hero of the Modern Age', with rising calls for her to be decorated with a Statue in the Senate Square in commemoration of her deeds.

This glorious and well earned victory over Sith Tyranny comes as Serrenno, one of the Siths most precious worlds, was liberated by the Armed Forces of the Republic, its people crying out with joy and showering Olive branches at the feet of their liberators. The Government of Serrenno is set to be reviewed by the Senate, after the Supreme Chancellor, in his benevolence, restores order and harmony to the planet, that has long suffered under the yoke of Sith Oppression.

Instead of an un-elected Moff, the world will now have an un-elected hereditary Senator as part of a process to see its political system more liberal and democratic.

JOIN THE GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC!​

Talia Al'saif, famed bounty hunter and warrior of the Republic, locked blades with Darth Cipher, Dark Lord of the Sith. Com at ensued for a few strikes, all of which showing Talia having and holding the upper hand. Music flared, as, without a single fleck of dust on her body, Talia struck him to the ground. The Man cried out in cowardice, calling for mercy yet decrying the Republic and showing no remorse in an obvious embellishment and straight out false interpretation of the true events.

Talia, ignited her flamer, and burned him, the smoke forming the symbol of the Republic. She spoke, as flags of the Sith burned away, to be replaced with Republic Symbols, a collage of pictures showing Republic Troopers saving the injured, and helping rebuild homes played, and faded back to her. ''Liberty for Serrenno! Freedom from the Sith!'' shouted her dubbed over voice. The video faded to black, a single image of the Supreme Chancellors (@Fyreleader face, smiling as a warfleet embarked above him, Talia at his side, the shield of Darth Cipher in her hand....

Mask of Lord Nihilus Uncovered?​

CNN Meets the Man who Claims to have found an ancient Sith Relic​

For Centuries, the Mask of Lord Nihilus, and indeed anything to do with one of the most powerful Sith in history has been deemed lost of destroyed. However, recent news from noted Pazaak Player Jedan Ridan (@Nor'baal) and his associates Lars Warren (@Breeso) and Ace (@Cameron Foster) suggest that this may not be the case. The Trio are claiming to have found the location of the ancient relic, and even now are piecing together a party of adventurers, including noted Bounty Hunters (@Lost Continuum) and Rogues (@Asmodeus-bBB12bBb31) to name but a few.

Speaking to our reporters outside 'Bar Bar Drinks' on Nar Shaddaa earlier on today, in a break between a Pazaak Match with a collection of nobles (@Kaane), Jedan said:

"I can tell you now, I've found it. Hell, you may not believe me, most folks don't, but its ******* well there!"​

The team is said to have included the services of such notables as Talia (@Sreeya), with potential links to groups all over the galaxy being brought in to assist them in what many are calling 'a brash and foolish quest for fame and glory'. Despite there being no actual proof that the mask is genuine, or indeed as been found, the quest goes ahead, with many following it with interest. RhoneGate Scandal - Supreme Chancellors Affair Exposed​

Supreme Chancellor Denies Affair with GAR Spokeswoman​

Mere days after the promotion of the GAR, the Supreme Chancellor has been photographed alongside the face of the campaign, sparking allegations of an affair. With money having changed hands, and promotions within the GAR having been dolled out to the Chancellors Mistress (@Sreeya) CNN informants can reveal elusive footage of Ms. Talia arm in arm with the married Supreme Chancellor. In light of the news, no less than five members of the GAR have stated they also have been subject to the Supreme Chancellors advances, and have asked for their names to be kept hidden, as they pursue legal action and compensation, in what vocal supporters of the Chancellor are describing as a 'false smear attempt' to ruin the Chancellor.

Speaking at a fundraiser earlier in the day, the son of the late-Senator Voren Makr, denied the allegations, stating that "....[my] father always held the Chancellor in the highest esteem." before heading off to his yacht. The Chancellor has yet to make an official statement, as allegations continue to swirl around the young lovers. Perhaps all is not as noble as it seems behind the recent promotion of Talia to the rank of Captain within the GAR, and perhaps the Supreme Chancellors 'Emergency Powers' have led him to believe he is above reproach.

The Supreme Chancellors wife has not been available for comment.

Ambassador Nor'baal Alive?​

Confirming the belief that most Hutts are incredibly annoying resilient beyond belief, Nor'baal Desajilic Koragga is apparently not dead. Claiming he has spent the last few months dead for 'Tax Reasons', the Ambassador for Hutt Space has recently been seen returning to the Social Scene of Coruscant. Having avoided a few million in Tax, CNN only hopes the Hutt pays up, however this is currently the least of many peoples concerns, as the slippery slug is rumored to be in talks with numerous groups, prompting allegations that he is back up to his old deeds once more.

Numerous other players on the criminal scene are said to be rallying to his Kajadic, amid rumors he is about to make a play for greater control of the Hutt Planets of Shaddaa and Hutta. Currently protected by Diplomatic Immunity, CNN can only report that he is a known Criminal, however under Hutt Laws he is deemed a legitimate businessman, making it hard for the Republic to prosecute any further. DEATH WATCH TERRORISTS?​

An anonymous source has alleged that the Mandalore, Prudii Kyramuund, in in fact leading a Terrorist Operation. The tip off comes from a young woman who claims to have had 'intimate relations' with a man she later saw bomb and murder almost half the leading council of the Humanitarian Group known as 'The Accord'. Whilst itself an inconsequential group with little to no Galactic Influence, 'The Accord' attack (which was originally believed to have been a random occurrence) raises to question the fact of additional, and similar attacks in the Galaxy. With the tactics and equipment worn by the attackers being similar to those employed and used by the attackers in the event that lead to the death of the Senator for Coruscant - questions are being asked.

Following a spate of attacks from anonymous armed figures, with numerous armored assailants employing mass casualty and bombing attacks to claim territory and resources across the Galaxy - the continuing unrest on the Planet of Mandalore (itself a valued member of the Republic) are beginning to fall into place. Is this sudden rise to power by the terrorist Prudii Kyramuund and his ilk being used to fuel a personal agenda to bring swathes of the galaxy under the regime of his oppressive terror group?

More than speculation however, CNN comes today with proof of the Death Watch and their criminal intentions, with the Mandalore (the leader of this group) having now been identified as the man behind the barbaric attacks on the Void instillation - the mastermind behind the myriad attacks across the Galaxy which have assailed the Galaxy in recent months have finally been revealed. CNN is glad to provide the scoop, that it is Death Watch who are attacking the people and civilians of the Republic, in a callous disregard for the security of the Republic.

Owned by the Senator for the Republic Planet of Duros, the 'HyperMap' Group Pioneers the field of Galactic Exploration, secured funding for this purchase as a result of its recent work on Bespin, in which it is bringing about a new era of Geological Mapping to a planet that it claims is 'the feature of Tibanna production'.

ECHANI SENATOR MASSACRES INNOCENTS

SENATOR FOR ECHAN BLOWS UP INNOCENTS ON PRIVATE LAND

An odd occurrence on Chandrila has led many dead after a Meat Processing Company was bombed by a homicidal senator. Following a controlled demolition on private land by a Hutt controlled group of meat processing plants, the Echani Senator made use of a personal ship to blow up private property leading to the deaths of hundreds of bystanders. The Senator, who has claimed that it was Echani Tradition to gun down bystanders in a cold display of violence, has not fully commented in defense of his actions, and the Hutt fund which supports the meat group has likewise refused to comment.

However, the manager for the Meat Group has spoken out boldly declaring that:

''My God the savages of Echan have gone to far! I spent many Credits, a 'uge number on those Dozers, and they just cannot stand it. They love me on Chandrilla, in all the polls they love me.''​

We are not fully sure what the man meant, or indeed what this story is about.

Hello everyone! This is Rick Mantrell, CNN Field Correspondent reporting from Dawnward Design Headquarters in the city of Shonruss on Concord Dawn. I have the pleasure of speaking with the Chief Financial Officer of Dawnward Design Industries Ditte Skirata.

So just to give those of you some insight on the subject Dawnward Designs Industries, boy that's a mouthful, or DDI as many call it, began on Concord Dawn as a humble patent and repair company for the locals of the planet. the founders wanted reliable technology that was simple to use and maintain in the harsh conditions of the planet. since then they've gone from farming equipment to swoop bikes, blaster weapons and even tanks and starships.

Now without further delay let's begin. are you ready Miss Skirata?

Skirata: yes Rick, please call me Ditte.

Mantrell: of course. well first let me ask what it's like to live on Concord Dawn. I don't think many people have an idea of life on the planet.

Skirata: happy to oblige. many people i think don't give Concord Dawn a second thought. Mandalore is the planet most people think of when they hear about mandalorian space. I consider myself Mandalorian very much so. but the people of Concord Dawn are...humble. work is hard and even with advances in technology people here prefer to do things the hard way. being humble is just as much a part of being from Concord Dawn as it is being stubborn.

Mantell: and that's represented in the products your DDI provides?

Skirata: yes, very much so. when Concord Dawn was first colonised there was a lot of work to do. now it's no paradise but i can't think of any other planet i'd want to live on and i think the first Mandalorians that settled here felt the same. but Concord Dawn became isolated as time went on and that meant things like parts and new equipment were few and far between. so a landspeeder that need to be cleared of dust ever few weeks or needed constant maintenance was not ideal. same goes for just about everything people use on Concord Dawn.

Mantell: How do you go from farm equipment to selling arms and armor?

Skirata: well Rick, your comlink, your navigation equipment, the emergency blanket you keep in your vehicle was all designed with military purposes in mind. for the mandalorian people combat and conflict are a part of life just like it is in the wilds of any planet. DDI doesn't manufacture to support and war effort. far from it. we design and build high quality items and people have found they like them but keeping them in limited quantities is what makes them valued. if the market was flooded with our swoop bikes they would be owned by everyone but we don't want that.

Mantell: other corporations target specific demographics but DDI doesn't seem to do that. why not?

Skirata: we started off small and just wanted to provide a product that the community would value and appreciate. we don't have profit in mind as we design and manufacture but make sure that the buyer is sold something that is for them. as time went on and we continued to focus on making good products we of course gained profit and expanded. even though we are selling some outside of mandalorian space our business model hasn't changed. making a quality product comes first.

Mantell: that sounds a little too good to be true. I understand there are members of the Sith Brotherhood, paramilitary organizations and other violent groups that use your products.

Skirata: is that a question?

Mantell: Well i'm sure that some people are wondering what to think of your corporation when they are being used by nefarious means.

Skirata: I understand. yes i'm sure there are people out there using our products in deplorable fashion but we can't control how our products are used. that is actually one main reason why we limit any sales outside of mandalorian space because we don't want them falling into the hands of gangsters in the underworld of some ecumenopolis like Coruscant or Taris.

Mantell: right well Ditte, can you tell us anything about where Dawnward Design Industries is going? maybe tell us something to look forward to.

Skirata: well we are always looking at practical technology. making things to keep people safe. we're developing a flight suit to protect pilots and extra vehicular activity so you can even work in the vacuum of space as well as new navigation technology for accurate jumps and safe traveling through the stars.

Mantell: can you tell us more about them?

Skirata: I wish, Rick. they are still in development and classified but if they work out i'm sure you can buy them yourself...for a price.

SCANDAL ON CORELLIA

''e turned me into a newt' - Claims unrelated man​

Bribery rumors have circulated through the socialite scene of Corellia, amid suggestions that a renowned family has attempted improper approaches to a leading Doctor. Dr. Jeyne of the physicians without boarders group, was reportedly offered a considerable donation in return for her presence at the dining table of the Correlian Scion. The young Lukas Jackson who is embroiled at the heart of the Scandal has yet to comment on the accusations that he has attempted to bribe the leading doctor.

It has been widely suggested that the sum was around 600,000,000 Credits. Corellia has been in uproar as numerous politicians realize they probablty should stop taking bribes as well. In other news, following a leaked communique showing a written diatribe of abuse against the local Ugnaught Population, the CEO - Valtis Tanara - has resigned. The gamed Bespin CEO, and founder of the 'Unity for Rodians' movement has denied that she referred to all 'Rodians' as [censored for your delicate eyes].

The company she has been linked with has all but collapsed as investors pull out funding at a critical stage into their ambition plan to construct a ludicrous 'City in the Sky' over the Gas Planet.

Billions flee as War reaches Core​

Untold thousands of refugee ships can be seen hastily evacuating the Core World of Coruscant, following a shocking Sith Invasion. Following months of aggression across the Galaxy, the Sith Army has finally made it to the Core Worlds despite the valiant efforts of the Grand Army of the Republic to repel the Sith invaders. In a war that started as a result of a reckless Jedi Crusade against the Sith, the violence has now reached a new zenith, with casualties expected to reside in the billions for Coruscant alone as a result of the endless warfare.


CNN has been unable to get feet on the ground to report, but our drone footage shows a multilevel attack in play across the City World of Coruscant, with the Sith attacking both the upper and lower city blocks. Many of the more impoverished areas have been unable to evacuate due to the high density of fleeing traffic in the cross planetary space lanes.

The message was clear, and as the final image showed the Rotunda on Coruscant being rushed by Sith troopers, the broadcast ended.

Killings And Kidnappings In The Galactic South

Good evening citizens of the galaxy. this just in a breaking story that is going to shake you to your very core. some of you know very well that we have numerous sources in the field trying to get the latest story on the ongoings of the galaxy and the numerous events currently going on throughout the numerous systems that we share.

tonight we bring to you a story from one of our contacts in the field. unfortunately she is unable to report this story herself live but she has a recording that we will play for you now. she was investigating numerous disappearances and acquired from one of her contacts a file that holds information regarding a chilling theory behind the disappearances. here is what she collected.

beginning two weeks ago I've already been investigating numerous high profile disappearances in the galactic south. stories of the sith operating in the area as well as a new jedi initiative to snuff out opposition were but a few of the conspiracies in the air. after a week of nearly no progress I was contacted by someone that had also been investigating these disappearances. but what I found was that it was bigger than I had originally thought.

whomever or whatever was behind these disappearances was also pointing to numerous murders and killings. a dozen deaths that were the cause of foul play have been confirmed by specialists along with three times that suspected being related as well. this does not include the hundreds of disappearances that have been, and i quote from one of the republic senators "...utterly chilling to think someone is out there getting away with these atrocities..."

now if you caught that you may have noticed the word "They" meaning there is more than one person doing these kidnappings and murders. up until now i listened to this a second time i thought it had been just one person. a few organizations have stated that there has always been some gang or organization taking people, selling them off as slaves or eliminating the competition. but what is more is that some conspiracy theorists believe this hidden group has existed for at least a decade if not longer. some theories are of course more extreme than others but that is because at this moment there is such a void of information on whomever or whatever is doing these. I look to fill this void with the truth. even in the underworld there is basically now talk about what these people are and what they are after. Following the seizure of Mandalore from the Republic, the governance of the planet and its people have been a topic of much debate; but defying all speculation the Mandalorian people have not fallen under control of the Sith Empire, and have announced the formation of an independently governed state, now to be known as The Mandalorian Dominion.


In an unexpected turn of events, Prime Minister Veryc Almec (@Arclight) managed to not only unify the Mandalorian people, but, by all reports, appears to have achieved the impossible by dissolving the terrorist organization known as Deathwatch, and assumed governance of Deathwatch controlled territory. All current reports confirm that the The Dominion extends its influence across the following worlds:

…..Excuse me viewers for being momentarily stunned by this turn of events. While there are many questions left to be answered, I am receiving word that Prime Minister Almec’s office has just released a list of preemptive responses to address republic concerns, courtesy of Almec’s new chief of staff, Nalu Fibuna (@Nalu Fibuna), and apparent republic import into his administration. The statements read as follows:


“The Mandalorian Dominion is a free state. While we mourn the state of turmoil facing our galaxy, it is clear the betterment of our people depends upon us taking responsibility for our own governance. The Mandalorion Dominion does not now, nor has it ever been beholden or allied to either the Sith Empire or the Galactic Republic. We are independent, we are strong, we are Mandalorian.”


“While The Mandalorian Dominion cites the siege of Coruscant as the final straw in deciding to take responsibility for its own welfare, the Prime Minister would like to make it perfectly clear that the actions of self-proclaimed Mand’alor, @Prudii Kyramud are neither a reflection of Minister Almec’s will, nor that of his people, but only speak to the reprehensible character of Kyramud himself.

The title of Mand’alor is a sacred one to people of the Dominion, and shall be bestowed upon a truly worthy candidate soon.”


“As a sign of our commitment to independence, strength, and security, Prime Minister Almec would like temporarily extend amnesty and citizenship to any and all peoples of the galaxy who wish to accept our protection.

Due to the galactic climate, this offer of sanctuary is temporary to secure the peace of the Dominion.”


……………….Well there you have it. More to come on this story, but for now I can only say this time is a historic time for us all, and with each passing day it seems less likely that our Republic will ever truly recover, our Galaxy may never be the same.

Desilijic Crime Family Deny Involvement​

Following months of financial moves and rumors in the business world, the Nar Shaddaa Syndicate has finally been formed, despite continued questions about the sources of their funding. With companies such as 'HyperMap' an 'Outer Rim Excavations' on their subsidiaries list, the Industrial and Tech Conglomerate dominates the Stock Markets of several worlds. Speculation is rife as to who financed the deal, but with a significant amount of their shareholdings originating from Nar Shaddaa and Muunilist (well known for their bank privacy laws), few have been able to uncover the truth behind the fiction.

Trademarks have been taken out by the Groups CEO (Jedan Ridan), on the names of numerous companies, including former parts of the Czerka Corporation, and a new entity known only as the Corporate Alliance. Criminologists have also noted that, judging by the history of the companies involved, this group now serves as one of the primary suppliers to the black market in the inner and mid rims.

Terrorists widen Galactic Rifts further​

An unknown group of terrorists have been reported in a flash raid against the Sith capitol of Ziost, causing widespread damage with further damage predicted in the coming hours. The identity of the attackers is, as of yet unknown (@TWD26), but they appear to be well equipped with effective vessels, having struck without warning on the Sith homeworld, in numerous places. Damage is reported to be high, and CNN is en route to investigate further...

CORSUCANT WAR CONTINUES
Millions die as attacks continue​

The Battle for the metropolis world of Coruscant continues, drawing into its second day with casualties climbing into the millions as the forces or the Sith and the Republic tear the peaceful work apart with a callous disregard for the lives of the Citizens on this City World. Little effort has been made by Governments or Militaries alike doing next to nothing to evacuate those caught in the cross fires of their warmongering. The invasion has heightened in the past few hours, with fighting spilling into the underworld, all the way up to the lofty heights of the Republica .


With pockets of resistance forming on the Streets, it is clear that the people of this free world will not allow their planet to fall without resistance. The Capital itself remains under siege, despite the best efforts of the Grand Army of the Republic. Classified files released from the Estate of the Late-Czerka Chairman Voren Makr have also revealed plans that used to be in place for a rapid response team to react with haste to attacks in the capital, raising questions if a lose Federal Government will ever be able to protect a population as dense as Coruscants; without the support of more capable private institutions.


The fighting has not been without heroism however, with former Republic Poster-Girl, turned Traitor, Talia (@Sreeya) has been seen attempted to assist with the flow of off-world traffic, before a Sith Walker alongside what CNN can only assume to be the current leader of the GAR. We are unsure of the exact identity of the Sentient with her, due to the recent turmoil having yet to be confirmed by Chancellor Rhone (@Fyremage). The Sith appear to be launching a full scale invasion of the Planet, which raises questions as to why they have suddenly adapted their tactics from sporadic bombings to more direct confrontations.

Whilst the former GAR front runner, and presumed mistress of the Chancellor OOC: Please don't kill me, Talia, continues to lead a sterling resistance on the ground, the skies to have become a warzone, with the Bandomeeri fleet lead by an as-of-yet unknown commander (@Ecclessey) has been seen giving the disorganized Sith invasion fleet a run for their money; superior command skills and formations clearly outclassing the wanton aggression of the Sith attackers.

Causes unknown as violence flashes​

A shootout has begun on the distant world of Stewjon, leaving several civilians dead and more wounded. The identifcation of the shooters is currently unknown, but the attack took place during a funeral, leaving several people dead and a member of the mourning family kidnapped. More on this as it develops.

Sith Threaten to Massacre Civilians, and their own Troops​

In a shocking display of tactical lunacy, the Captain of the Sith Vessel 'Purity' has threatened to bombard Coruscant, if the Naval Forces of the Republic do not stop tearing apart her fleet. Already weakened by a blindingly excellent display by Republic hero, Tygo Hulas (@Ecclessey), the Sith have shown their desperation in the form of a semi-hemispheric broadcast across the embattled world. The full transcript of the declaration is as follows:

"Attention all. This is is the Captain of the Purity, flagship of both Task Force Guardian and Chimera. I am ordering an immediate full-scale bombardment of the Surface of the planet. Focus fire for maximum destruction and civilian death, target population centers, hospitals, and refugee camps first. I am speaking to the Second Bandomeer fleet, and directly to the Admiral DeWitt herself. End your assault of our ships and surrender now, and this will end. We will begin our blockade and leave the surface engagements to ground combatants. Should you continue, however, and I will ensure that this world burns in your name, Captain. Every terror that the Sith Brotherhood has to offer will be brought against this world in your name. The galaxy is listening Captain, every man woman and child staring up at your ships. Will you be the last name their ears hear, or will you end your senseless kamikaze? Time is ticking Captain Hulas."​

Despite the fact that the Sith have never stuck by their 'word' throughout the entirety of this war, the Sith seem to believe that the only defensive orbital force of the Republic will simply stand down. Joining us in the studio with us now, Doctor W. Monger, Professor of Sith Studies at the former University of Coruscant:

''Well, it does seem odd that the Sith; who appear to be somewhat losing their edge, think that threatening the carpet bomb refugees and medical centers, which would include their own troops, will make the Republic stop defending their world. If anything, it would surely make more Sith defect than it would Republic vessels? I just do not see what the Sith are hoping to achieve here, effectively they are saying ''Stop defending yourselves, and we promise we wont kill you all. Honest.''''

The Sith continue with their attacks on the City Planet, despite sterling resistance from the Republic and Civilians alike, with the orbital attack stalling thanks to the efforts of the GAR Navy, which has easily outclassed and outmatched the Sith warfleet, whos only strategy it seems, is chaos.

Attempted Bombing At Kyramud Funeral
'Irony.' remarks expert.​

A bombing has been attempted at the funeral of renowned terrorist Prudii Kyramud. In something that is being seen as painfully ironic by onlookers, the unsuccessful bomber attempted to cause disruption by placing a helmet full of grenades onto the Mandalores palanquin. Some critics have said they feel that the man was just trying to pay his respects, however this has become hard to prove; on account that the man in question is now dead.

CNN has identified the man as one Kendo Gedyc, who has - like 99% of the population of Mandalore - a history of violence, we spoke to Mandalorian Expert* Doctor Brahden Roaue:

''Seriously, can nobody see how hilarious this is? Bombing the funeral of someone who bombed like, four planets? Three Planets? Hell I dunno, it's just funny.''​

Whilst his comments have hit a nerve, Doctor Brahden Roaue (who was struck off from the University of Anaxes last week), are admittedly, kind of true. The Clan of the deceased assailant had this to say:

"Kendo was a man who had been suffering from terrible delusions for years and had a history of severe depression. While we do not condone his actions, we realise they were the acts of a sick and desperate man. All of Kendo Gedyc's financials will be divided up and donated to several charities for mental illnesses, and his remaining belongings will be sold off and the credits will be donated to a charity of the daughter of Prudii Kyramund's choice. Thank you, and long live Mandalore."​

The Mandalorian Government have yet to comment.

We have waited nearly a year, but finally the thrilling second season of 'Downton Shabby' returns to all holo-cinemas near you. From idiots the people who brought you 'Help Me: An Orange Orangutan is President', and 'Sweet God Why?', 'Downton Shabby' follows the life and lives of a family on the fictional land of 'Kingdom Old', a former Imperial Power, on a drab planet near the Core Worlds. Having voted to leave the Republic, our first episode sees the Prime Minister of the Planet declaring that ''Possibly something may happen soon.'', as their currency topples off a god-damn cliff.

But at least immigrants cannot come in eh?

Watch as the Blond Bombshell that lead the Planet into this mess, runs away to the galactic relations office, and we all wonder how and why the hell it happened.

'Vastly Underestimated'

Senator for Anaxes, and Intelligence Director Slams Republic Understanding of the Sith Intelligence Network​

In a broadside against the establishment headed by Republic Chancellor Gregory Rhone (@Fyremage), Senator Mardel of Anaxes has attacked the Republics stance on Counterintelligence. Coming from a Security background himself, and serving in the capacity of 'Galactic Intelligence Director' for his representative world 'Anaxes', Senator Mardel was speaking at a conference today, in which he lambasted the work of the self Declared late Supreme-Leader of the Republic, and the incumbent Chancellor for their approach a 'dangerous and rapidly expanding' Sith Intelligence Operation.

''The fact that an entire war fleet could get through our borders without anyone being tipped off, or warning us, is a damning indictment of how unprepared our intelligence operations have become. We stand on the cusp of obliteration, at the hands of a force that should be in its infancy. Whilst we may be able to put boots on the ground, and fill the skies with warships; this counts for nought if we cannot support this with accurate intelligence.''

Speaking at the Anaxian Naval Academies Directorate HQ today, in a surprising break from the Core Worlds normally compliant state, the Senator has drawn critique for 'scaremongering' in a time of 'desperation and turmoil' from Rhones supporters, and commentators alike, however the Senator was not alone; joined by several leading members of the Anaxian Military in his condemnation. He went on to comment on the state of the wider armed forces:

''Our ability to strike hard, and strike fast in response to these attacks on our territory must be reestablished, the Republics economic might must be thrown behind a renewed effort into the Grand Army of the Republic; not just with equipment and recruits, but with a unified drive by all our contributors planets and worlds, to drive the Sith back to their own borders, and slam a blockade to prevent such atrocities from occurring again.''​

The Senator has made his stance for closer ties between member worlds, in addition to a stronger Grand Army clear, and on the latter at least; support appears to be growing across Republic worlds. The Chancellor has been unable to comment.
