Cops and Robbers

I need a thread to introduce my new character! The Thief in my profile.

Since he's a professional bank robber, why not start there? While most peopls will team up with other players to perform a heist, I'm doing something different. I want conflict, drama, cop chases! So Grayson Creed is going to successfully rob a bank, and most of the trouble is going to happen after he leaves.

I have two ideas:

-A car chase complete with sirens and explosions as Grayson tries to get away.
-An investigiation to catch Grayson after the robbery takes place.

I'm looking for PCs who want to either chase Grayson or play detective. Since this is happening in Sith or Hutt territory, agents from those factions are most likely to get assigned to Grayson's case. I guess other optional spots could be a partner for Grayson or another criminal who tries to nab the loot from Grayson.

Alrighty, here's the scoop.

Grayson will be planning to rob a bank on the Imperial planet of Teyr. He will realize he cannot do it alone, and joim forces with Tala Outlander. As the two are performing the robbery, a problem arises. It seems as though the Hutt propects Lanya and Reikan are robbing the bank at the same time. Exact details of the double robbery will be worked out in RP, but will eventually happen is Grayson and Tala making out with the cash, with the Hutts hot on their heels. After escaping, Grayson and Tala head their seperate ways.

This sets up part two. Not only do the Hutt PCs split up to track down Grayson and Tala for the cash, but the Sith deploy Mandus and Vorax to track down the crimminals. The Sith charries split up as well.

This leads to two show-downs, each one containing an Indie, a Sith, and a Hutt all competing for the loot.

This arc will be split into multiple threads.

1. Grayson and Tala meet-up, scouting, planning, and preperation.

1b. Lanya and Reikan scouting, planning, and preperation.

2. Double Bank Robbery.

3. Optional Street Chase if Nor'baal wants PCs or NPCs to give imminient chase. Or if Hutts want to chase after Grayson and Tala.

4. *Reikan and *Vorax track down Grayson.

4b. *Lanya and *Mandus track dowm Tala.

* indicates the characters could swap places with someone in their faction ready participating in the thread.

Plus Nor'baal could post a couple times in the prep threads to foreshadow a bit and give everything a more personal feel, but the imps can't suspect anything yet.

Other details:

-Total pay-out of $2 million. With Grayson and Tala both taking $1m each into investigating threads.
-No dying, but anything else goes.
-Post regularly
-Maintain a posting order
-Permission will be sought after form Sith FLs, Hutt FLs will be kept in loop.
-Have fun
-One Tiger

Errr, I forgot to mention, now they are robbing an Imperial Bank. Grayson and Tala are Indies, I think the Hutts would rob an Imperial bank, and the Imperials are tracking down the criminals to bring them to justice.

If you choose before, than the Hutts could essentially act on behalf of the Cartel, if they choose.

You do not need permission from the FL's of any faction to do a thread I think. All you need to do is notify the Sith the roberry is happening as a surprise attack and then ask if they wish to have some people in it.

You do not need permission from the Hutts at all. This is an open RP forum not a pre-set outcome one, so go do it - do not wait for the 'blessing' of the FL's - you do not need it.

Sorry mate, no. We have five writers and six PCs as it is. Hopefully the next one.

Hutt permission was intially sought after because we were robbing a Hutt bank, now its an Imp one. I sent Rom a PM, so he does know, and of course he can interfere as he sees fit.
