The danger that Sin had sensed was not the potential of the rangers. Or even the backing of the Free World Alliance, as the prim minister of the had just chimed in on the holonet. No, what he sensed was several guards. Two more pig men, and two droids. Moving up the stairs with reckless abandon. Killing Cardu was but the first victim.

"Company coming puppet." He spoke to in her mind.

Reaching out with the shadow of the force, Sin would lift the Gamorrean door guard. Tossing him like a bolder down the stairs to stop or at least hinder the advance of the others. Turning to where he noticed the crystal from before, he reached out once more. Pulling the un-bled crystal to his hand. Quickly then, with the aid of the force he held the hilt before him. Dismantled it, swapped the crystals, and reassembled the weapon.

Activating the weapon as the first guard came up the stairs. Sin would activated the green blade. Then force pushing the pea brained guard back down the stairs. Then looked around to see a mask. This was sloppy. He knew it. The ren demanded to be replenished. It hungered, and that hunger was feeding Sin's anger.

"Now!" He roared in Jez's brain.

He would not wait however. Instead charging forward. His anger seething from him. The shadow building within, bubbling like lava in the veins. Waiting to explode. And when he got to the stairs it did just that. The saber in his left hand, his right hand shot forward. His hand formed a claw like cone, the center of which would erupt a cone of fire that would fill the stair case. Enveloping the three living guards in fire, causing them to panic and tumble down the stairs. Falling on and almost melting to the two droids.

Like a new set of commands had been input into her brain, Jez stopped only briefly as she took a harsh breath of air, gasping like something had come over her. Jez grabbed her saber out of her pouch and prepared herself to ignite it. She watched her master toss away the guard outside and his cry of surprise quickly fall silent. She mentally prepared herself then to fight whatever else would come through that door. Only, when her master turned around he began to swap out his crystal for the one on display. This gave pause to Jez. Right...red blades.

She switched her blade in her hands and took a stance with her right hand and leg forward. She'd only activate the beam if necessary. When her master then activated the new green blade she had a strange and odd sensation about it. Almost like a vision. A premonition. For the briefest of seconds she saw herself wielding unbled sabers as well. They were as blue as a pale moon over water. The vision was gone just as quickly though it would linger in the back of her mind for some time.

Anger was boiling out of her master. True rage like she'd never felt before. Her master turned around as if looking for something; he was actually analyzing the situation unfolding. She followed his line of sight to where he was looking at
a mask which had also been on display. It was faceless, only having horizontal lines across the helmet. It would do. His voice screamed at her to get moving and she quickly rushed over to grab it. She threw the helmet on and instantly felt closed off from the world. A red light lit up her view and the world came into focus. Everything she saw was red.

Turning about Jez knew she had a mission to complete. She retreated back to the safe room as she felt a tremendous amount of rage expel from her lord. She couldn't worry about that now. Jez reached the safe and looked at the lock. No time to worry about it. She ignited one of her red blades and quickly pushed it through the top of the safe as it melted under the heat of her blade. Reaching down she saw a host of valuables, including the disks. She had no idea which one was which so she nabbed them all and dropped them in her pouches. Her greed was far too great though to leave the rest behind so she scooped up the handful of credits and a capsule she figured had some sort of refined ore in it. Possibly for fuel. The only thing she left were the data pads that likely held records.

Jez was about to head back to her master when she noticed a cold chill against her legs. Had they not been bare she never would have felt it. Looking around she noticed part of the wall seemed slightly off. As just as her senses told her, she knew it was a hidden door. Jez pushed the wall and it slid away revealing a staircase leading downwards. The staircase had been built into the foundation of the building and came out to a tunnel leading elsewhere.

Turning to the door she would say, "Master! A tunnel!" Then she realized at this distance he couldn't hear her. So she focused on the Force and her connection to her master and spoke into his mind like he did hers. "Master. I found a back door."

The fire had turned the stair case into an inferno. Still the rage inside of him, as well as the hunger of the shadow would not be satisfied. Sin was about to step toward and then down the stairs as the fire quickly extinguished. But he was halted by his apprentice. First verbally, which only cause him to slightly hesitate before he continued. Then he would hear her in him mind as if she was speaking inside his ears.

The Echani extinguished his green blade. Stepped backward inside the room, and then pushed the closed button on the wall panel. The door slid close and the shield expanded. Sin would then used the the force, and his fist, to small the panel. Preventing, or at least slowing the pursuit of the droid guards.

Turning he followed after Jez. Passing the open safe, he could see that she was successful in retrieving something from within. There was no time to breakdown what all the found. Not yet. Instead he took the lead. Walking down the back staircase and into a tunnel fit for someone perhaps a head shorter. The need to crouch down only irritated more. The tunnel soon ended at small underground landing bay.

On the pad would be a fully restored, and likely customized Lambda class shuttle. The nose ramp opened and then lowered. Without hesitation, Sin would ascend the ramp. Making his way into the cockpit area of the ship. To his surprise, an RT series pilot droid was waiting in the pilot's chair.

"Were shell.....wait, you're not Master Cardu. Who are you?" The droid would ask with a sounds like fear. As if he knew what real fear was. "Cardu has been returned to the shadow. Unless you want me to cut you out of that chair, I suggest you prep this ship for takeoff and plot a jump for the outer rim." Sin would demand.

With no thanks, or any words at all, Sin would head for the secret back door and disappear into the darkness. Jez groaned a little, wishing he could show a little appreciation, but knew it wouldn't come. He was far too aggravated to think of anything but hurting someone. She would know. She also knew it was best to stay out of his way. Before she followed after, she'd look to the door where they'd come in and used the Force to push a button sealing the safe room back up. If somewhere were to follow now, they too would need to know about the secret switch.

But Jez wasn't done there. She entered into the cramped staircase and again used the Force to slide this part of the wall seamlessly back into place. She really doubted anyone would find it like she had. It had been pure luck she found it in the first place. Or, the will of the Force some would argue.

It was dark in the secret pathway. Luckily her visor gave her some visual aid in the dark. She had to crouch some like her master did, only not as much. The path of stairs led them around the buildings infrastructure and finally coming out to a landing bay. Jez's eyes lit up then as she took in the sight of the Lambda shuttle. If there was ever a perfect shuttle to carry them this was it. These shuttles were used at the height of the Empire, even by the Emperor himself. They were a perfect call back to a time when the Sith ruled over the known universe.

Although her mask hid her expression Jez was grinning like a fool underneath. Her pace was far more excited now as she followed her master up the ramp and to the cockpit where they were met by a droid. She let her master argue with the simple thing while she took a seat in the guest chairs. After all, Jez had no knowledge about flying space shuttles. She could handle a speeder, but that was about it. She'd never really had any need to learn.

As she strapped herself in the raven haired Sith would then pull away her helmet and let her hair back down. She turned the mask around to stare at the face plate. She hoped she'd never had to wear this thing again, but like her vision of herself with blue sabers, she saw herself wearing this disguise for quite the foreseeable future....

"I'm sorry sir. But my programming prevents me from accepting commands from anyone other than Master Cardu." The droid say, trembling in the seat. The droid had no reason to disbelieve the stranger before him, but he could no more disobey his programming then he could breath as a living being. It was simply not possible.

His anger still seething, yet with it enough to know he didn't want to risk damaging the control panel of the ship. The knight took his right hand and slowly closed it into a fist. As he did, the droids head could crush like a pop can, sound included. He then plucked the droid from the chair and tossed it beside Jez as she sat down. Taking the droids place as he did so.

He could feel the sudden sense of joy emanating from his apprentice. As his hands now danced around the console, he took the briefest moment to look over his shoulder to watch her out of the corner of his eyes and thus helmet. "Enjoy it while you can puppet. We will not be in it for long." He said coldly.

Sin could then feel the question rise in her mind as he returned his attention to the task of getting them out of here. She may not have thought of it, but he had. Turning those men into barbecue in the street would bring attention. Within the hour if not minutes. He had no interest in being around when that happened. At least not for the moment. So he powered the engines and guided the ship out of the hanger bay. Joining the traffic of ships making the space. Soon enough they would clear atmo, and plot a course for the outer rim.
