Apartment block 42-C-1231, Coruscant

Lani had to pull a lot of strings to make that happen. Jump at the first opportunity to go to Coruscant. Convince one of the Knights she was paired with to let her go on a slight detour. And most importantly, find a few "partners in crime". That is, if entering your sister's—and technically still your own—apartment counted as a crime. Probably not. Taking some stuff from there as mementos was harder to pinpoint as a "totally innocent" thing. If not by Coruscant laws, then at least by the code of the Jedi, who preached "letting go of attachments" and blah-blah-blah. That's why no Knights were informed about just what Lani had planned.
The team for this "side project" was small. Padawan @Drastus Drahr seemed to be cool and was eager to help. If only to help her get more stuff out of the Tallis apartment. The real trick was shipping it all off-world. Especially Kori's swoop bike, if it was still around somewhere. That's why Galania was lucky that @Xiann agreed to help. The Twi'lek worked on a Jedi ship, and even had an idea how to make it all go unnoticed. If things worked out as the Rutian said they would, Lani would owe her big time.
The Zeltron was anxious. Being on Coruscant again made her homesick, while the atmosphere of the megacity made her a different kind of sick. The time spent on lush-green New Alderaan and Yavin-4 had taken its toll. Undeterred by that, Lani had navigated through the district, and then through the mazes of her apartment block. All to get to one door. The door to her past. "Here goes nothing," a brief moment of hesitation, and Galania slipped her card through the reader. After what felt like eternity, a green light flickered, inviting the Zeltron and her new friends into her old apartment. "Pure Pazaak!" she half-whispered excidetly. "Thanks for not selling the place and for keeping the lock, sis."
It was hard to explain the whirlwind of emotions that hit Galania when she stepped inside. Memories of her youth, parents, and siblings; meeting Kori for the first time; spending time with her while she had business on Coruscant. Self-defense training, meeting a Vratix Jedi and Kori's friend... It helped that the place remained the same, except for new layers of dust. Excitedly, the young Zeltron rushed towards her old room. The one that had been Nykoria's before her departure for Ajan Kloss more than a decade before. She hated the hell out of those posters of mine. And yet she kept them! Thanks, I guess...
Lani had left no valuables there though, and Nykoria must've been respectful. It was Kori's new room that'd have most of the things Lani came for. Inside, she found a sizeable bag with clothes, some credit chips, and even an armored flight suit. She didn't even unpack. What were you up to, sis? Most of that stuff was definitely not Lani's size. Still, the young Zeltron didn't intend to leave anything important behind. If Nykoria was gone, the family needed a memento. "Drast, you take this bag, ok? Careful, it's a bit too heavy, and we're still not done."
Galania glanced around the room. Hold on... There it was, lying on the table. The old M3 Stub Pistol with an ascension gun attached to it. The Tallis family keepsake, and a gift to Nykoria from her and Lani's father. The pistol that shot at the Eternal. Had anyone but Lani known or trusted that story, the gun would've been with the best of them in terms of price. But as it was, it was just a pistol with some value to Lani and her family. She had no regrets putting her own S40 into Drast's bag and holstering her new weapon instead. After making sure that it had a full power pack, of course. The gun was heavier than what Lani was used to, but she'd manage. Besides, she didn't plan on any shooting.
So far, things were going swimmingly. Lani led the way towards the last place to check: the family safe in her father's old study. Confidently, she moved the books and datapads on one of the shelves aside and entered the code. The result, however, didn't meet her expectations: the red indicator showed that the code was incorrect. Lani typed it again, making sure to look at the digits... Same result. "Oh, kriff you, Kori! You had to kark it up in the end and change the code." Now what was she supposed to do? At a loss, the Zeltron turned towards her "little gang": "Guys, any ideas?"

Team "Padawan" consists of Lani Tallis and the crimiest of criminals she could find on Yavin-4: Drastus Drahr and Xiann. They're the ones in the Tallis apartment now. Other participants/opposition are welcome to join somewhere along the way, two or three rounds in. You'll see an opening. But please note that we're kind of not prepared to face off against Sith Lords or seasoned criminals yet ;-) The thread is meant to be on the fun and light-hearted end of the spectrum, with maybe only a few darker moments.
In short: use your best judgement and have fun!
