DESCRIPTION​

The S-40 stun pistol is a small blaster designed and made by Lethex Defensive Arms, a minor weapons manufacturer which mainly produces stun and disorientation devices; many of its products are marketed toward pacifists, and on worlds where lethal weapons are restricted. The S-40 is a simple, solid design, and is one of the company's flagship products.

The S-40 is a compact blaster pistol, with a short barrel and lightweight construction. It fires medium-power stun blasts, and will deplete a standard power pack after 100 shots. Range is about 50 meters, giving a good standoff distance in a fight.

LEGALITY​

Legal. Ownership of stun pistols is unrestricted in most of the Galaxy, and is less likely to draw scrutiny than a more lethal weapon might.
