A new blade master?

This news pleases me greatly.

Much appreciated Liv. I dunno, when I did the write-up I intended to create a monster, not something like a Rancor who can be bound by chains and walls. The Wyrm was meant to be a beast so feral that it would kill itself trying to escape in the most violent way possible; beating itself to death slamming against a containment shield, stuff like that. Dropping one into a pitfight? You'd better be ready for a lot of dead fans unless its something like dropping its opponents into its territory somehow then observing from above. Either way, when its approved I'll post the mission, then make sure that when the mission is done I'll take control of the Wyrm, so that you guys feel some actual fear. Like I said, despite all the dangers of the Star Wars universe, I sometimes feel really "safe." Nothing hurts you more than a scratch, and the Force creates some pretty powerful opponents. Just remember, we aren't invincible. I don't want it to kill your characters; that's what NPC's are for. But after a mission with me NPCing this beasty, I hope you have some real fear of death almost because it won't be a simple "let's go hunting" type of thing.

I'm very happy to hear Adenn is coming back and joining us full time, bro! He is welcome to the Clan, and I'm sure Norby won't have any objections to him joining the Masters of the Blade.

I would suggest - depending on how long it takes to get the wyrm approved - to actually combine the resurgence and entrance into the fold thread with the wyrm chasing. Perhaps he runs into the Fetts there by accident, and being there for the same reason as they are, and things work themselves out from there. What do you think?

That sounds good to me and honestly the simplest means of getting him back into the fold. Not to mention for me... IRL will pretty much limit me to a single thread, potentially two. Otherwise, I'll fall behind and just drag potential stories down with my slow responses.

On another note... I'm absolutely terrible with tech write-ups/things of that nature. So could someone perhaps look over my CS for "The Jackal" and using the info regarding his armor come up with a better design based on my general idea of the knives and blades? Phrik everything as it is, is simply dumb... I'd really appreciate it.

Perhaps, make a custom designed set of katanas with extremely detailed sheathes. There's not much you can do with the throwing knives, though I do like the idea of inbuilt sheathing for them, though they can be made of simple dura-steel, or preferably a lighter metal like Alum. The katanas, if he is a Jedi Hunter, should also be designed to be lightsaber resistant, however in real life, traditional katanas and Japanese blades were lovingly hand crafted of the finest materials available. I would use songsteel blades, and go into detail about their handles or any other details you have on them.

Other than that, I see no reason to change anything, and even that is really just a personal idea that I thought would help. To be honest, it looks fine to me!

A walking artillery battery? Sounds interesting. I'm just a bit concerned as where MandalArms is getting all the financing for this. I mean from an IC perspective, they're sudden resurgence of tech could be considered perfect timing. I'd suggest some introductory threads concerning the arms company. On another note, songsteel is supposed to be an extremely rare and valuable metal, meaning the cost to mass produce weaponry would be exorbitant. If there were a location to discover and mine songsteel, that could prove beneficial to the company and the Mandos.

My mention of songsteel was purely meant for Bad Karma's question regarding his character's kit, but a mining operation for it would be interesting. Though yes, introductory threads are quite necessary for this, as well as buildup threads. The basic weapons and armors, sure, no problem with minimal facilities, but something like the gunship I put up, or even the artillery piece I'm thinking I'll write up would be a minute before being available.

I agree, we need introduction threads, and I need to write up the profile for the CEO.

Until then, let's wait with any further tech profiles. But, as a sidenote, most of the financing comes from the Cartel, which is why they are fifty percent shareholders. The rest of it comes from mercenary missions Clan Fett has participated in over time. :D

I'll do some heavy lifting (i.e, one of those spurts of creativity I have once in a while when I get alot of RP work done) tomorrow. Stuff I need done includes the writeup of my MandalArms CEO dude, getting some serious missions written up (but not posted yet), and getting to work on the SHadow Veil thread, which is by the way open again, so those of you who want to participate but haven't yet posted, go ahead and jump in!

Also, aside from the wyrm roleplay that some of you lot are planning, me and Hutticane Matt possibly have another well paying gig planned out for the clan, that will also help MandalArms, a job that will take place on Zonju V. More on that once we get green light from Duke of Nuts, whose writeups are affected by the job. We don't want to step on his toes after all - and indeed, if we're lucky, this might give the clan a chance to cooperate with the Waste Rangers. :D
