Much of the early life of Captain Bruticus remains a mystery saved for a selected few trusted subordinates. What is known however, that he hailed from Kalee from a small unnamed tribe and fought as one it’s warriors when of age. That changed when the tribe was destroyed by their more powerful rivals.
Surviving the massacre that followed Bruticus abandoned his home world at age twenty and made for the stars. Weeks later he found himself ‘conscripted’ into services of a human pirate named Conrad Fin following capture onboard a refugee ship. Starting out at the bottom of the Fin’s crew the Kaleesh worked his way up the ranks by bloodshed and force of will.
He grew to embrace this life of piracy and even took the name Bruticus after how many fellow sailors once referred to him as nothing more than a brute. Several years later the crew were ambushed by security forces in the Eriadu system and nearly wiped out to a man. Only Bruticus, who had been quartermaster, escaped via escape pod.
After hiding for weeks in Eriadu’s wilderness he hijacked a ship and escaped the planet. Eventually the Kaleesh joined with Crimson Dawn of the Five Syndicates. Now a ship’s captain Bruticus is determined to carve his name into a galactic legend.

Once a proud Keelsh warrior, Bruticus is now a ruthless raider of the space lanes. He has a cunning and observant mind that often takes advantage of an opportunity once he believes it is worth the risk. The pirate is extremely ambitious, desiring to become infamous like the late General Grievous, his personal idol.
He expects firm loyalty from anyone who joins his crew and to earn their keep. Bruticus rewards those who perform well but does not suffer fools gladly. To his enemies and victims the pirate is merciless but retains what one could some semblance of honor. His main passions are fortune and glory through pillaging.

Originally raised from a warrior culture, Bruticus is a skilled blade duelist. He is rather fond of his dual vibroblades in combat or ‘executions’. Added to it is his combination of Kaleesh martial arts training and brutal street fighting experience makes him a fearsome foe to face unarmed. While not a skilled sniper Bruticus knows how to handle many type blaster rifles and pistols, except for heavy repeaters.
Weapons are something of an obsession for him. Often Bruticus tests new ones he gets his hands on for both professional reasons and personal enjoyment. Once more he is a capable leader in a raid with years of experience as a chief subordinate for an infamous pirate.
