Few things I needed clarification on, or wish to clarify:

@Rimrald Note the case with Metro's stuff is still in the cab's trunk per my last post, it is unlikely to simple drive off while this is still the case, and it may create timeline issues because Metro spotted F2 and so we can place the case being in there at a specific point in time. Also, in order to be keeping the weapon drawn on the figures below, wouldn't it be necessary for a line of sight to be drawn between it and anything he is aiming at? Wouldn't he, and the weapon, be clearly visible then? The house is short and so are the distances involved aren't they? Metro might have trouble seeing it with his wide brimmed hat on, but it wouldn't it be visible to the NPC troopers and Maverick?

@Phoenix If the shadows of the hedge are making his armor darker, wouldn't it be impossible to have a poncho also covering it? Unless it is transparent? Wouldn't the stark relief from the green and the brown home be quite visible then? Black is not a very good camouflage, after all, because it is normally not found in nature or a suburb, and it doesn't utilize disruptive coloration or break up the lines of a figure, on the contrary, it makes them starker.

True he has a poncho, but there are still parts of his armor out: arms that have a black undersuit, helmet that's black, etc. Meanwhile a cloth poncho that is covering weapons and gear produces bulges that are quite abnormal from a human beings silhouette (not that anyone can really see the silhouette anyway). Moreover, with shadows cast by the bushes in the growing darkness would be better for blending in (which was most of what my point was in mentioning that).

But in truth, with pretty much his whole body obscured by the bushes he's taking cover behind, I'm not sure any of that is really relevant

Erm.. why wouldn't a cab drive off after dropping off a passenger? Cab drivers don't give a crap if you accidentally leave something behind. And if you haven't paid them, you now have the driver coming into the house to hassle you for his credits. Pick and choose I guess.

You know you could have just pulled up in your own speeder, right? Having it be a taxi means it's 100% likely to go away after dropping you off like...in the real world.

(Idc enough about this to keep arguing but just struck me as funny >_>)

As per your post you "Metropolis got out of the taxi on the side of the house, door now busted in. He rounded to the back of the cab and opened his rifle case, and took out his port scanner."

I believe we all took that as you got out, grabbed your rifle case and retrieved your port scanner not like put the case on the cab and made the dude wait, but if thats the case I can edit!

Second note for the whole, wouldn't something have to be showing to maintain LOS (line of sight) short answer no I would assume not due to @Nefieslab saying there are offices nearby and were using a roof mounted HVAC unit for a prop not that it makes a building commercial. But due to the fact were observing from a roof and F2 had to turn the corner of the buildings base to get to the target NPCs home so I'd venture a guess were higher in elevation and concealed. I pictured Wyatt in a position like the ones i'll link, and thus concealed from sight without a weapon poking off of a lip of the roof or anything like that due to the height difference and the fact that neither yourself or the NPCs were described as watching for targets or scanning rooftops and the sun is setting Wyatts armor is black and grey.

(Examples of how I see my position: 1 2 3 4 5)

@Sreeya Yeah, Brick and I couldn't decide who would be driving the airspeeder. We'll be posting in team blocks but not necessarily in a set order.

:I

@Rimrald Yes, he opened the case in the trunk. He didn't take the case out.

In any case, neither Brick or my posts have mentioned the cab speeding off or even paying the cabbie (It's not an Uber after all), so I was just clarifying it was not locked in. Just wanted to make that clear, as it was this kind of thing my other PvP partners had trouble with in my last thread, so I felt it was worth mentioning this time around. I don't need an edit.

I get his position now, his silhouette would likely not be visible against the sky. How far away is he located and in which direction relative to the front of the house?

@Phoenix Okay.

Posting order looks sensible to me. I'll get one in tonight

@Clayton What would you say the direction and distance is of the building F2 started on from the NPCs home.

Maybe a hundred yards or so? South-easterly.

Really when you post you're locked in, I've had bad communication cost me in past timelines, so I don't see how it would be any different this time, because he missed your message. To be fair I did not know he spoke to Nefie.

If Nefie is alright with the post being deleted, then I'm fine with it. But really I'm trying to keep this thread moving for all of us, this would be the second time we've made an exception for your team. The first being that we let you into the thread past the time frame of posting.

Either way I'm cool with whatever decision.

@Lets Awesome, he can't delete his post really. Like he can change the contents of it entirely, but him posting has canonized everything that has happened before that. Things like cab driving away with M's stuff, our positions, all of that is now locked in. He can, however, edit and change his post as much as he likes until it's our turn to post.

For simplicity's sake, you can post as well since order doesn't matter with team blocks. As long as it's understood that everything has been canonized, from this point forward it doesn't matter if you or Brick post first.
