G'wenee - The Dungeon nightclub - Neutral Space

Neri was starting to get why they called it trance music. The high bpm and the heavy focus on a rich melody were hypnotic, and Neri had no idea how long she'd been bumping shoulders and hips with the people around her. She continued to dance, shaking her hips and twirling her hands in the air above her. At some point though, she noticed she had been pushed toward the crowd's edge, so the woman stepped out to visit the bar.

The woman was dressed up in a strappy, two-piece outfit with big, black boots. She went for a dark lip and smoldering eye - something that fit the vibes of the club. If there wasn't already loud music and loud voices to drown it out, her boots would make solid little thuds as she maneuvered her way over to the bar.

"A shot of tequila with lime!" she called out to the bartender, leaning over with her forearms on the bar. He gladly obliged, and the woman threw back the shot and bit into the lime almost as soon as she received it. Satisfied, the woman flipped herself around and rested with her elbows on the bar, facing the crowd of sweaty bodies. She'd rejoin them soon.

Another day another club bumping trance music while Lux poured far too much liquor down her throat. She'd been chilling at the bar for the better part of a half hour, mostly poaching free drinks off idiots who actually think they had a shot in scoring with her.

She'd arrived with barely any of her own money but that had never really stopped Lux from being able to get as drunk as she wanted. If anything, it was just an excuse to part idiots from money they clearly didn't deserve. She was an expert at that, a skill honed over the years.

It was just so fucking easy.

Finishing up a cigarette, Lux snubbed the butt out in a nearby empty scotch glass before turning in her chair - perhaps a little bit too fast, judging from the way her stomach flipped when she did it - just in time to see a cute if not mildly dangerous looking girl come up to the bar in her dino stomper boots and order a tequila with lime.

I like your outfit, She said idly, though still loud enough for Neri to hear over the thumping of the music. Lux herself had opted for something similar, a short black dress that cut only to her mid thigh or so.

Two more tequila with limes, Lux said to the bartender who returned in short order. Sliding one of them over to Neri, Lux looked at her with a smirk, eyebrow arched in curiosity.

Got a name?

Jayna slipped her way through the streets of Lay Pa-Sidian - steadily drawn towards the hypnotic music that emanated from The Dungeon. Though she’d originally arrived on G’wenee for some local charity event, it didn’t take long for her to change course entirely - ditching her droid detail a few blocks from the Nightclub. Having worked through two separate kidnapping attempts on her own, the heiress wasn’t particularly bothered by the ‘security concerns’ that her outings caused.

As she stepped through the entrance to the nightclub, Jayna glanced down at her expensive NalPhone - her silvery gaze lingering on the text she’d sent to a certain Padawan (@Zay). It had been a few weeks since he’d abruptly left her with his number, and it was only now that she opted to use it, inviting him out for the evening.

Naturally, Jayna was dressed to fit the theme of the nightclub - wearing a
low-cut black dress and mesh top. Her outfit was accessorized with few pieces of jewelry and perfectly manicured nails, complete with a pair of earbuds to dampen the overwhelming music.

She cut a path through the throngs of dancing patrons - making her way to the bar where Neri and Lux had congregated. Her gaze lingered for just a moment before flicking over to the bartender, flagging him down with a wave of her hand. “Phattro,” She said, resting her elbows against the counter.

Edin picked up a lot of new gigs over the past few months. Now that there was no Alliance or New Republic, people could target one another without any kind of backlash. His list of targets included corporate moguls to diplomats. Two former Chancellors under his belt, he could now demand outrageous prices for his jobs. However, he still kept it humble, living a largely lowkey lifestyle and splurging every now and then.

The Firrerreo made his way over to the bar, the bass thumping and the music getting his groove going. He was on the planet for a job, but it wasn’t for a few days. He was still in stakeout mode, his target often frequenting this establishment. Tonight he decided he could mix business with pleasure.

He ordered himself a fruity drink with a little umbrella on it. He gave a quick glance at the ladies gathered at the bar. Were they all wearing different variations of the same outfit? Clearly he missed that memo with his comparatively more colorful ensemble. Edin turned back to the bartender and flashed a smile, revealing pointed fangs before he slapped down a generous tip.

Drinking came as natural to Laeo as breathing, and with a replacement liver, the only thing moderating him from his incredibly unhealthy habit was his mood.

And tonight, he was in the mood to drink. A lot.

“FuuuUUCk me,” he groaned, exhaling as he sat back and chuckled. The bright light’s of The Dungeon’s refresher flashed in his eyes, the line of spice he’d just snorted already getting to his system. Puckering his lips, he leaned forward to look at himself in the mirror. He wore a thin layer of concealer and some eyeliner, which actually complimented the massive scar that ran down from his forehead and down to his jaw.

He looked good. He felt good; really, really kriffing good– though his mouth was a little to dry for his taste. Leaving the spice residue smeared across the sink, he wandered back into the club, thirsty as all hell.

“Vodka.” He demanded, sitting down between some well dressed 20 something’s and a colorful looking guy whose teeth were as sharp as his jawline. Smacking down a few credit chips (his tab, the drink, and a hefty tip,) Laeo threw back the shot, gulping it down as his throat was seared by the drink. It didn’t have any flavor; he wasn’t drinking it for the taste.

Despite the massive scar, everything about Laeo was unassuming that night. His outfit fit well enough with the bar’s suffocating emo atmosphere, and he wore a shade that made him look especially pale tonight.

Date, Location, Time.

That was all she’d sent. Leon looked the place up immediately, it was some club on G’wenee. He stepped over to The Freebird's holomap. Huh, he could make it. he double checked the distance. Did she know that? Was she keeping tabs on him? Then he took a breath. The past month had been… a lot.

Since they’d made it back from Adumar, Leon had pretty much kept to Ellora. Needed time. He just finished an errand near the Weneen sector of the Braxant Run. he chewed on the inside of his lip. He wasn’t sure this was a good idea.

Fuck it.

Leon plotted the course and made the jump. Once in hyperspace he ran for the shower. A few minutes later he was dressed. The outfit had been provided and curated by Jedi knight/fashionista, Dash Paven, according to the tag inside the jacket. He felt like he needed an undershirt, but Peetwo warbled over the comms and he decided to just go with it.

The club was alive with people dancing. The music was intoxicating. Granted Leon had a low dance threshold so he might not be the best barometer. As a matter of fact only seconds after entering he started to bob with the music. He stepped over to the side surveying room. He’d gotten paranoid and wanted to make sure he had a second path of egress. He spotted an exit sign and relaxed a little.

Then he saw Jayna and a mischievous little smirk played across his lips. He pulled out his phone and let her know he wasn’t going to make it. He waited for her to see it, then swept up behind her.

Man, I’d kill for a drink right now, you mind if I squeeze past you?” he asked her.

A voice just barely louder than the crowd around her caught her attention, so Neri glanced over her shoulder to see who the friendly soul was. A woman close to her age and wearing a low-cut, curve-hugging black leather dress had complimented her outfit. "You sure know how to dress, too," she purred back, her interest caught. The woman turned back toward the bar, stopping once she was facing Lux straight on, giving the woman a not-so-subtle up-and-down as the shot slid her way. This lady was a snack.

Neri threw back the shot - her second in the last few minutes - before she answered Lux, sinking her teeth into the lime to disappear the taste of agave first. "Neri," she finally answered. "And you?"

Two, no three, no- four new patrons joined the crowded bar soon after, each interesting in their own way. Neri swore the dark-haired woman who'd just arrived looked awfully familiar - 'Something about those silver eyes...' - and she couldn't miss the clattering of credits on the bar as a man dressed as he'd just walked in from his improv comedy club tipped the bartender. Her eyes lingered on the cash, jumped up to the man's handsome face, then returned to Lux.

"So, you come here alone?" she asked, wondering how good of a dancer the stranger was.

Yvon was positively giddy with excitement. The Sith Empire had collapsed in on itself and the remnant Imperialist state that had sprung forth from it had massively shrunk. The corrupt New Republic had dissolved along with its bullshit bureaucracy. The Free Worlds Alliance, the pitiful alliance that it was was no more. The galaxy was ripe for the picking, credits flowed without oversight, trade stalled and stumbled. Chaos was an excellent cover for a hungry slicer with little to no scruples.

What Yvon wasn't exactly giddy about was the situation they were walking into. A packed club filled with sweating, grinding bodies. Uncertainty was followed by resolve as they strode into the club, their lithe, muscular form covered in little but a tight body suit that revealed more skin than the slicer had likely ever shown in public. They wore their shock white hair in a short bob and a pair of glasses hid their violet eyes from any electronic scanners, as well as protecting their vision from the flashing lights of the club.

They had not come to the club for pleasure. Business was booming with the collapse of the majority of the galaxies major governments and tonight was no different. They approached the bar as a new song bumped and thumped through the club, bass rattling in their chest. Yvon paid a sideways glance through their glasses at the man dressed out of style from the rest of the goth club as they came to the bar next to him.

"It's a nice night for an Imperial Sunset." Yvon replied to the bartender as he asked their drink, sliding a "credit chit" across the bar, produced from a slim side pack that rode their hip, containing currency, their nalphone, and a few odds and ends that would allow them to use said phone as a slicing rig if need be. The barman nodded, taking the "credit chit", which contained a bundle of information that Yvon had been paid to acquire and deliver to the establishment. Yvon took the drink the barman returned with, a black liquor settled in the bottom of the wide glass, red and orange rising up to the top to simulate a sunset falling over a black sky.

Turning away from the bar, Yvon glanced over at the colorfully dressed stranger for a moment, looking him up an down for a moment before taking a brief sip from their drink. The grimace was well hidden as the taste of liquor slammed the back of the slicers taste buds, burning as it went down. "You don't look like you come here often." They said after a moment of recovery from the burn.

"Priorities change. Policies change. Job doesn't need doing. Not by you."

"Figures, sidin' with some Reek-huffers like you. Stick it up your ass then, we're through."

-

A spiteful conversation given mere hours prior bubbled in the recesses of Kotru's mind. What was meant to be a short recon job had been cancelled with the chaotic shuffling of papers in the New Republic's absence had left the Zabrak's evening completely absent of activity.

Without any trouble to drop in on, he decides to take his earnings out for a night on the town.

The synthetic screech of The Dungeon's current track could almost make one's own horns tingle, the speakers rumbling even in his chest. Foregoing his usual navy coat, Kotru was clad in a dark jacket, the sleeves stopping just past his elbows with a wide collared shirt, the top few buttons left undone in the residual heat of the countless bodies behind him.

Even with the heavy-sounding song in his ears and vibrant flash of lights he could just make out the shape of someone else slipping beside him, and slamming back a clear fluid that definitely wasn't water.

"Shi-hit, brother. Ain't even gon' soften that blow?"

An amused huff comes from Laeo's right, blue eyes tilted in his direction. The Zabrak's left arm was folded upon the counter, the other resting over the top of a dark green glass of his own.

"Night ain't goin' nowhere, y'know."

"This music sounds like it came out a kriffin' netherend of a Sarlaac pit."

Luca Ardan couldn't help but agree at the sound of the boisterous electronic music that pulsated through the confines of the club. All around them humans and aliens dance alike, lost in the bliss of the night. But, for Luca and the few members of the Deucalians Swoop Club, their night was spent in a mixture of liquor and spice. There was much to celebrate in the galaxy, the Empire was practically gone and now the New Republic had dissolved which meant outlaws like Luca could move more freely and in the open.

The human swoop gangster sat up in an elevated booth with his entourage of human men that came in various shapes and shades. Luca wore his worn out leather kutte over the top of a synthweave black and white flannel that blended well with his black spacer pants and faded work boots. His bangs parted down the middle and the sides were tucked by the handles of thick black shades which hid his bloodshot eyes.

The chapter president tapped his foot lightly to the beat as he plucked the smoke which was tucked along his ear, bringing it to his lips and lighting it up. With a heavy sigh the man leaned back and let his shoulders sag in his booth seat. "You're right, this bland corpo stuff is straigh eschutta."

Luca turned towards his brothers and flashed a toothy high grin, "Maybe they'll play Raz Kreengo and the Thrassian Slayers and turn this into a straight mosh."

Edin was perfectly content, sipping from his bright, neon pink drink with a little yellow umbrella. The song thumped throughout the club. It fit with the rest of the theme of the club, which made him look even more out of place. If he felt it, he certainly didn’t show it. He carried himself with optimistic confidence, giving a polite nod and a smile to anyone that looked his way.

His gaze fixed on one of the several black-clad ladies, recognizing one as the ISC President’s daughter (@Altaris). He had been asked to kidnap or kill her on several occasions, but they could never match his price. No credits, no deal. Edin smirked to himself as he looked away and sipped from his drink.

The Firrerreo’s attention was drawn when someone addressed him. The figure wore an attire that fit with the vibe of the club, though the glasses were interesting. The opening line made Edin grin, a nice little spin of the usual ‘come here often?’.

“I figure these meet the edge criteria to be here,” He said as he pointed to his elongated fangs. Edin pivoted slightly in his seat to face the patron, “You do look like you come here often,” He said with a slanted grin.

Lux flashed Neri a smile as the woman graciously returned the original compliment with one of her own, even going so far as to shoot her an air kiss as Lux watched as Neri gave her a not-even-trying-to-be-subtle up and down once over. Of course, Lux did the same and liked what she saw though she did find it a little humorous that even with Neri's boots she was still several inches shorter than Lux was.

Lux, she replied before downing her own shot, though Lux forwent the lime. Chasers weren't really her thing, she wanted it to burn the entire time. And yes, I did. Clubs are always so much more interesting without strings. Lux eyed Neri a little more closely, curious about her relatively odd question despite showing no reluctance in answering it.

The change in music vibed heavily with Lux and she suddenly felt the urge to get out on the dance floor. Taking the initiative, Lux would attempt to suggestively grab Neri's hand and pull her out, away from the bar into an area where they had.. more room to get to know each other.

If Neri had followed, Lux would put only a few tiny inches between them as she started letting the beat really drive her movement. The whole time, Lux's eyes wouldn't leave Neri's, a playful smirk creasing the corners of her lips.

A grin spread across the man's face at Yvon's words, white teeth flashing in the strobing club lights, hued red through their glasses. The socially clueless Yvon was oblivious to the fact that they had twisted a pick up line and might be perceived as flirting, raising their glass to their lips to take another sip as the brightly dressed man responded.

Yvon lowered their glasses slightly, violet irises reflecting the clubs lights as they peered over their glass to get a naked view of the sharp canines he had revealed. A thrill ran down Yvon's spine that caused a moment of pause as they tried to analyze where it came from.

"Sharp enough to break flesh and draw blood." They pondered the thought, glancing around at the club's scene before continuing, "Definitely."

As a holonet native, Yvon knew that aesthetic was everything, especially in a place like this. With that in mind they had tailored their look to blend in perfectly, though now they were beginning to wonder if they actually stood out.

"Looks can be deceiving, that's what they're for." They said, giving a slow wink before raising their glasses back to their eyes and glass to their lips for another sip of the black and blood red drink. "That means it's working though." A faint sly grin spread across Yvon's pale lips before they continued. "What brings someone so colorful to a dark place like this?" They asked as they appraised the man's clothes and colorful drink.

Shaitan hadn't left the Pink Panther Swoopers behind per sé, but cartel space was a terrible place to kick-back an relax. It was fine if punk was your thing, but if you're punking against a punk it really becomes more like sticking with the system than to it. So here he was, hailing the bartender to get "I'll get whatever they're having," he motioned towards the drink looking like a sunset that one of the other patrons was holding. He didn't often come alone to establishments like this, but when he did he didn't usually leave on his feet..

Getting his drink he admired it for a second, "it's actually not bad," he muttered, not getting out above the music and tried to see if the person he'd seen it with before was looking his way. If they did, he'd tost gratefully from a distance and unceremoniously slung the drink back. Kriff. That either hit the spot or he was really out of touch, but he already felt himself getting dizzy as he placed the glass back on the bar and walked over to the dancefloor to vibe by himself.

So there he went. Black low-crotch skinny jeans, pink-sprayed shoes and the Pink Panther Swooper's logo on the back of his black jacket. His right cybernetic arm was cheap and the jacket's sleeve was still cut off to show it and the pink panther design that was painted on it. It had a special compartment just below the elbow where he usually kept a few dozen stim-pills to push in clubs like these. Right now, though, right now he opened the compartment to take just the one pill out and placed it on the back of his tongue. Kriff it. Let's go.

'Lux, like luxury.' She liked that name. But before she could even ask Lux to join her on the dancefloor, the Firrereo was already curling her fingers around Neri's wrist and pulling her toward the crowd. The music had changed, switching to a steady beat that alternated between a melodic bass and a kick drum. A grin curled up onto Neri's lips as she fell into place, dancing provocatively with the woman before her. She wondered, briefly,

When the music changed to something a bit quicker and heavy-hitting, Neri switched up her rhythm to match. Dancing to this kind of music didn't usually lend itself to sensuality, but they were already so close, and the Firrereo woman seemed comfortably in her element. Neri challenged that, running her fingers just barely above Lux's skin as they danced, curious to see how far she would take things.

Neri leaned up to whisper something in her dance partner's ear, but before she could, a clueless patron bumped into them. The two would be forcibly separated, and rather than apologize, the man saw Lux and decided to shoot his shot.

"Hey baby, I've been lookin' for a new addiction," he slurred, clearly drunk as he flirted with her. Neri masked her own disgust, stepping back to see if Lux could handle it herself before she stepped in.

"Yeah well...like kriff it," Luca pulled himself up from his spot and adjusted his sunglasses. The lights within the club seemed to be saturated and more vibrant in his high state. The music seemed to vibrate and visually dance around the biker as he sauntered down to the dance floor with a couple of his guys. A few of them had scattered into the crowd and began to dance with random women or attempt to.

Luca himself didn't really seem to have his sights on anyone, instead he simply pushed through the crowd his head bopping back and forth to the rhythm of the music. "Aye, aye, Womp...look," one of Ardan's brothers grunted as he bumped the president's shoulder. Luca's grey eyes shifted and looked to see another biker in a Pink Panther kutte. The Deucalian didn't seem to recognize the name and shrugged his shoulder.

"Probably some family club eschutta," he said over his shoulder. He turned back to the dance floor and caught the glimpse of two women dancing together, but one was quickly bumped by a man who staggered to Lux in a drunken state. This didn't bother Luca, he could care a bantha's rear about someone's dating prospects, what he cared about was the cut the man was wearing.

The red accenting and diamond patch on the front end of the cut, the Wampa center piece -- Luca had seen enough. He stepped forward as the man spoke up. "Hey baby, I've been lookin' for a new addiction," those words were uttered before a punch would go flashing towards the side of the rival biker's skull.

Luca stepped forward with the punch and watched the man crash down to the floor, not seeming to care if or what the girls thought about the situation. "Kriff Wampas." He sneered as he put his boot to the man's face, smashing it down. His inked up hand formed a subtle D as he showed it off to his enemy. DFFD, he thought to himself.

Arla was out here to push herself out of her comfort zone. Most people would have defined her as as "space witch" from a "backwater world," and in a way they weren't wrong. She wasn't accustomed to many of the intricacies of the galaxy and she was about as social as an angry rancor. Apparently that needed to be worked on. Her father - the one that galaxy new (that didn't really narrow it down, did it) - had built an entire government from scratch and her mother had managed to successfully run another for years. They both had done it through intelligence, smooth speech, and deception.

Unfortunately, Arla only had one of those three traits, and even that one wasn't exactly tailored properly.

While she may have needed work on the actual social part of being social, she could at least dress the part, with a tight black and blue dress that hugged all the right places. Okay, so this dress was a bit tighter than most of the clothing she wore. How did people stand these? And these heels. So uncomfortable.

She took another breath in, remembering that it was about appearance, and whether it was comfortable or not, she knew she looked good. She supposed that had its own appeal, didn't it?

It gave a bit of confidence that probably would have had her strutting if she knew how to strut, but that wasn't really on the menu yet. For the moment, she walked in and tilted her head to the side at the thumping electronic music pouring in through the gated aural dampeners.

Several people were busy dancing, and others seemed to have (drunken?) tensions rising. Over at the bar area, things seemed a little bit less tense with two people (@Arcangel @Sreeya) talking about the club. For a moment, she had no idea what to say. Normally she would have just stood there staring at them, but she was pretty sure that was the actual worst thing she could do. Saying something dumb would probably be better than that.

I don't come here often, she remarked, deciding it was in keeping with what they were talking about. Any drink recommendations? she asked.

Were they flirting? She couldn't tell. Well, if she ruined the mood then that was just... honestly, probably par.

The young Prince of Parties had arrived at last with an obnoxious scent of milk and honey radiating off his indescribably well toned body. Naturally sneaking into the club, it didn't take him long to find the bar and order an expensive cocktail or two.

Catching a brief reflection of himself, Oedi stopped with a smirk. "Hello Sexy, oh wait. That's me."

Flashing a confident smile at any and all who looked his way, the prince couldn't help but admire just how well he fit into this silky smooth toga that just seemed to shape perfectly to highlight his best features. Really, it wasn't just something that anyone could do and took a life long dedication to self improvement, but perhaps one day he'd be prepared to take on an apprentice. Who knows.

Out of the men's bathroom came out a Tiefling figure, smoke coming from behind him as he let out a sigh and a smile, looking as calm as one could ever be. With red now slightly accentuating his yellow and pink eyes and wearing a fit that thankfully still worked after losing his shirt somewhere, the Tiefling made his way towards the bar, deciding to compensate all that he had smoked and sniffed with some alcohol to balance things out.

Making his way towards the bar, he stood not too far away from a group of three people(@Sreeya, @Arcangel ,@Phoenix , overhearing their conversation just in time to hear one the girl ask about drinks, sitting next to her "Two Antakarian fire dancers!" He told the bartender out loud, his mouth opening up to reveal a toothy grin as he looked at Arla "Spicy, yet kinda sweet, have a feelin' ya will like it" He added, his tail swinging from side to side as he looked at Arla and then the other two.

"You..." Khalid pointed at Edin, his eyes narrowing as he seemed to recognize the man "You shot a dude fer a bounty in a party, a dude I was about ta shoot myself" He hadn't forgotten about that event, it was a fun one that involved shootouts, a couple people dead and him stealing someone's wallet "...Welp, respect, you're quite quick on the draw, not many would've beaten me ta it!" Khalid giggled and raised his glass before taking a sip out of it, his eyes looking at Arla to see if he had, indeed, chosen well.

As a man of mystery himself, Edin could appreciate the desire for discretion. He liked this patron’s smile, there was a cool detachment in it. He sipped from his drink, “What can I say? I like to brighten up wherever I go,” He said cheerfully, “Is it working?” Edin smirked before another (@Phoenix )decided to join them. He sipped from his glass, his gaze flicking over to the woman in the tight fitted two-toned dress. Edin was about to speak when a tiefling man waltzed up and ordered a drink for her. The Firrerreo instead raised his own drink in cheers as he looked at the woman, “Ankatarian Fire Dancers, apparently.”

Edin looked across and could spot a shock of blond hair (@Xorism ). Something about that face looked familiar. He pulled out his NalPhone and did a quick scroll, immediately spotting an ad posted to maim him. Not kill, just rough it up a bit. Reason? ‘He got drunk and peed in my rosebushes!’ Edin’s brows rose and he put his NalPhone away. Wealthy people were willing to pay for anything to get their way.

Edin looked over when the tiefling (@Versok )addressed him. It was then that the Firrerreo began to recognize him. He was the brother of his ex-girlfriend. Fucking awkward. His jaw tightened when the man began speaking. Edin managed a smirk and raised a lone finger, pressing it to the tiefling’s lips before he could reveal any further, “Please, it’s a night for pleasure, not work,” He said smoothly with a grin.

Of course, he barely got that sentence out before a brawl started to take place up ahead. This time, Edin didn’t get involved, leaning against the bar to finish up his drink. He ordered himself a Fire Dancer. He clinked his glass with the Night Sister and the tiefling before taking a drink. It burned just perfectly down his throat.
