Another bar, another free night, another opportunity to drink and just...something or other. Lissa tried not to get philosophical or insufferably poetic after 5, it tended to kill the mood when most people just wanted a good time. The ship was docked for now and she didn't feel like another night in watching vids so she sought out the nearest bar, sporting a more casual number than usual. It felt a little strange, seeing her arm out in the open like this, black durasteel forming a shell around synthetic muscles and veined wires - still, it had only been a few months ago that the arm was organic, maybe she just needed to get used to it.

The feeling didn't subside as she walked into the club, felt like everyone was staring, but she had to mentally push those thoughts down. Cybernetics was normal, people got replacements, some people liked the 'improvement', stop worrying girl. As soon as she stepped through those doors, she just let out a deep breath and let the music and the lights wash over her. The music almost seemed to drown the thoughts from her head, the lights near blinding and forcing her gaze away to keep from going blind, and she moved toward the bar, scents of cigarra smoke and strong booze burning her nostrils. Felt like home, though what could be said about a person viewing bars as home was not something she was gonna think about.

Seeing someone order two Ankatarian Fire Dancers (@Versok ) and not knowing what she wanted, she figured it was best to go for the gut. She patted her credit chit on the bar, raising her chrome arm instinctively. Make that three please! She called out over the music, nodding to the Tiefling in thanks. Looking around, things seemed pretty normal, dancers and drunkards and who knew what else...

Yvon's faint smile remained on their lips, fingers lingering at the edge of their glasses as the mystery man spoke. He seemed to carry himself with an alluring confidence despite being so out of place."Any brighter and I would need darker shades." The slicer replied coolly. (@Sreeya ) They were out of their depth at this point, not sure where the line between casual conversation blurred into something more. At least when it came to business things were always clear.

Yvon's hand found the bar and they took another sip of the liquor laden drink, the harsh burn down their throat transforming into a pleasant warmth that spread from the Echani's stomach. A third joined them, a woman wearing a blue dress who's introduction followed along the same lines. "That makes three of us." Yvon said with a stifled giggle as an alcoholic haze started to settle over their mind. (@Phoenix )

They were joined by a fourth before Yvon could suggest the Imperial Sunset that they were drinking, instead opting to polish the drink off and let it rest on the bar as a tiefling male that reeked of some manner of smoke ordered for the blue-dressed woman. Yvon's eyes widened slightly as they took in the sight of the man, roaming for a moment down the strong grey pecs and abdomen before the slicer rapidly averted their gaze back to the bartender and indicated that they would take one of the Ankatarian Fire Dancers as well.

The slicer wondered just how long they would stick around, business done. At least until they finished the second drink, though they were already starting to feel the first. There was a moment of recognition as the tiefling seemed to recognize mister brightside. A finger pressed to dark lips followed, leaving Yvon flushing pink at the cheeks as the thought of a rather steamy fanfic they had stumbled across one day that featured the Imperial king-slash-warlord and his Firrerreon assassin lover came to their mind unbidden.

Yvon blamed the alcohol.

"Pleasure tonight, more credits tomorrow." Yvon said as they clinked their glass with the others, taking a sip of the fire dancer and almost immediately regretting it. Spicy. They held their ground against the drinks assault on their taste buds though, trying their best not to let the discomfort show. They were definitely going to need another drink to wash away the heat.

Yvon glanced between the three that had come together at the bar, not sure where to go but not wanting silence to linger. "How the hell do you walk in those things?" They asked the woman wearing heels after a moment (@Phoenix ).

Jayna was perfectly content while at the bar - sipping from the tall glass of Phattro provided by the bartender. Fortunately, there was little chance that anyone would recognize the Heiress right out of the gate. Her silvery eyes traveled between the other patrons seated nearby, briefly following Lux and Neri as they gravitated towards the dancefloor, before focusing on the others. Jayna’s gaze lingered on the rather attractive Firrerreo for a moment longer than was likely necessary, catching a glimpse of his pointed fangs.

Of course, Jayna practically had to do a double-take when a familiar face stepped into the cantina next to Edin. Her eyes immediately narrowed upon Arla, recognizing the fellow quarter-Sephi from the jungle filled with cannibalistic cultists. Jayna still wasn’t sure who the woman was, which made the silver eyes she sported both curious and unsettling. Taking one more drink from her Phattro, she prepared to slip from her seat and join the small group that had formed.

Just as she began to rise from her seat, Jayna glanced down to the ping of her NalPhone - immediately recognizing Leon’s number flashing across the screen - only for her expression to him upon reading the message. The Heiress chewed the inside of her lip a bit, attempting to play down the hint of disappointment that bubbled to the surface. At least, for the few seconds before Leon suddenly rounded the corner behind her.

Jayna glanced over her shoulder to meet his gaze - her eyes briefly going wide. It only dawned on her then what the Knight had done, her lips immediately tugging upwards. “Sure,” She began, allowing Leon to slip in while admiring his attire.

“Looks like my date canceled on me, so I might just go for a dance.” She said with a smirk, taking a few steps in that direction.

Arla wasn't familiar with the drink that was declared but quickly decided to add on to the rest of those who were ordering one.

I will have one of those also, then, she declared to the barman, dropping down credits to cover it.

As she received her drink, she lifted it in a toast at Yvon's statement about pleasure and credits. Sounds worth drinking to, she said, offering to tink her cup against Yvon's. She took a sip of the drink and "hmed" slightly to herself, though over the sound of the music, it probably wasn't recognizable as anything. It was a bit fruity, but quite stronger. Stronger than most of the wine she drank on Dathomir, but not unpleasant.

I don't know, I'm still learning, she looked down at the heels and Yvon would be able to see that Arla was giving them a practical death glare.

They are not practical. Nor are they easy to use, she said, pausing in thought for a moment. They do make my legs look nice, however, she declared when it occurred to her that that probably had something to do with things.

I would consider taking them off, but I am worried someone else may step on my feet in something similar, she said, suddenly imagining someone coming down with their full weight onto her bare foot with a heel. It was not a pretty mental picture for anyone who was listening to her, though Arla was relatively oblivious to the fact that people may find it unpleasant.

As of yet, she had not spotted her sister... though when they first met she had no idea the girl was her sister. Should she tell her the truth? Oh the dilemmas.

Leon’s smirk spread into a smile as he slid in beside her, much closer than he needed to. “Oh thanks, that's really kind of you.

He got lucky and caught the bartender, “Shot of house whisky, thank you!” he called over the music. He turned to face Jayna. A look of horror and disbelief played on his expression, aghast he said, “Really, what kind of asshole would do such a thing?

The bartender set the shot down, Leon put some credits on the bar, slammed the shot, and smiled “O.M.G, I was just about to do the same thing, weird? Are we soulmates?” he laughed.

Leon reached out and took her hand as they stepped onto the dance floor. He wasn’t familiar with the kind of music playing, but he was feeling it. As he hit the floor his shoulders began to bob to the beat and his steps became a little lighter, almost graceful. Once he found a place he liked he turned to face her giving her hand a little tug as he stepped in.

I’m not gonna lie, Heiress,” he said, shaking his head, as humor coated his words like a well tailored suit, “I’m not sure you’re ready for this.” he said slipping a hand around to her back as he began to effortlessly move along to the music.

The last time Baudelaire had a chance to cut loose like this had been Berchest.... Tonight, just might be the night to let it out again.

One shot, two shot, green shot, blue shot…

Green? Blue? Laeo blinked, a grin spreading across his face. The spice was still hammering into his senses, he realized. “Deus,” he thought to himself, “If this is laced, aidunno what Ai’ll do.” He decided to ignore his sensations as he downed another shot, audibly exhaling. Around him, people were chatting, drinking, some of them going off dancing. The one with fangs was being chatted up by an Echani, the two twenty-something girls were hitting it off. He didn’t linger on any of them long, relying on his ears and a quick glance to keep up with what was going on around him.

He might wind up talking to one of them, dancing with another. Right now he was to sober for any of that, and so he threw back another shot and drank like it was water. He heard a nearby voice call out about “softening” the “blow,” (@FreelanceGarbageMan ) and it took him a second to realize they were talking to him. Turning to his right, Laeo blinked once. The Zabrak looked about a decade younger than Laeo, and that was usually enough for the Brentaalan to ignore someone; but he was feeling social, and he wasn’t in the mood to be that rude tonight.

“Trust me, if my night’s going somewhere, I’ll need a loooot more than this.” He answered, before glancing at the Zabrak again. Blonde, blue, green… shit, was he seeing stuff again? Blinking, the Brentaalan regarded the alien’s glass squinting a bit. He was seeing fine; yeah, totally seeing fine, fine fine fine... the Zabrak looked alright to.

“If you’re thaaaat concerned, why not buy me a glass of that? If you think you've got the stones, you can have a swig of mine." He suggested, a playful grin spreading across his lips. On cue, the bartender brought him another shot, and Laeo would dramatically place the glass on the counter, primed to slide it over if the Zabrak accepted.

Alfie forgot how long he'd been here, but he forgot why he came as well, which was probably why he decided to arrive anyway. While the Scoundrel wasn't opposed to parties like these, he just couldn't find it within himself to get up and dance again. So instead, he sat by himself and watched the people come and go, dance and drink, while Alfred kept to himself and his glass of water- Did he really only order water? Maybe he didn't want to be too out of his mind, tonight. Maybe he was overtly cautious because it was a very similar place like this where...

My darling... How I've missed you...

A sigh escaped the young Veteran as he settled into his seat, trying to push away memories of the past. So, he sat in contemplation, gazing off into nothing with his stone cold glare and mute expression. When had everything become so dull? There was a story for that, but it hurt too much to think about right now. For some reason, going blank came naturally to Alfie. It helped him from over stimulating in such a bustling environment. His gift of reading people was sometimes a curse that gave him migraines not even the most potent spices could nullify.

His suit was a nicer one, but so was everyone else's who came to the club. However, he also had his piece on him, regardless of how safe someone labeled this establishment. If Alfie gazed to his left, he could see a drunk man and a lesser drunk man fighting over a woman. Or two woman, Alfred didn't really care either way. As long as everyone kept their troubles to themselves, everything would be just peachy.

Lux felt Neri's touch coyly dancing just above her skin, making the hairs on her body stand on end just a little bit. As the girl leaned in, Lux was unsure if it was to tell her something or to kiss her, and to be quite honest, she would have been absolutely fine with either one.

Before she could figure it out, her lips subtly pursed in hopeful anticipation, an interloper barged into Lux and Neri's perfect little scene and immediately made it known he was not only a moron, but a giant piece of shit to boot. Just as Lux was going to rear back and smash her own fist into the guy's face, a cute guy in a swoop club vest beat her to, well, the punch.

Without a second thought, Lux took her foot and stomped the rude guy out a couple more times for good measure, sending more than a couple of his teeth skittering across the dance floor. Luckily for the guy, she was wearing normal shoes and not heels, or he'd probably have a couple extra holes in his head and a whole lot less blood.

Turning to Lucas (@TWD26) Lux shot him a thankful smile, before arching her eyebrow in interest at just who this guy was.

Fuck Wampas. She said with a chuckle, unsure of just what he was talking about, but having spent enough time around gangs to know it was probably turf related. She could respect the honesty of fuck-up-on-sight rules that a lot of swoop clubs had. Let me know if I can get you a drink.

Turning back to Neri (@lizziie), Lux's eyes flashed with a predacious sparkle. Now where were we, She said, leaning in so that her lips were a razor's edge away from Neri's ear, so close the girl could feel the subtle heat of her breath.

Before we were so rudely interrupted. The last part came out as just a whisper, smoke-like fingers drifting into the girl's ear, beckoning her with temptation that was just out of reach.

Khalid raised his eyebrows in surprise as the bounty hunting man pressed his finger against his lip in order to shut him up, his thoughts going immediately about how quickly he did that, usually people took a bit longer to shut him up, did he know him already? Since the Tiefling cowboy didn't know about him and his sister, his mind went to two similar, yet distinct possibilities: Either he had checked him out during last party or Khalid had slept with the man and forgotten about it...Both of them were about as likely, really, given his record.

The expression of surprise in his face became a playful one as the two possibilities made him even more playful. A smile formed behind the finger, his eyes looking at Edin with a certain hunger before his tail coiled and wrapped around his finger, slowly getting it away from his lips so he coild speak again "Well, I'll drink to that" The Tiefling gave the pretty boy a fanged smile before raising his glass "Plenty of pleasure ta be had tonight fer sure!" He added, still looking at Edin and then at Yvon, joining them in the toast. He looked at.

He had noticed how the white haired one looked at him and his interaction with Edin, which made his response to Edin half flirting, half a show for everyone else, it was obvious that the Tiefling was comfortable in situations like this one: Shirtless, high, drunk and flirting with anyone around him. Khalid simply listened as the two of them had their conversation about heels, his mind going to that time he stole Nadiya's heels to have some dumb fun with his brothers about who could stay on them the longest before he twisted his ankle.

Deciding to not share that story, Khalid simply listened and nodded his head when Arla talked about how they made her legs look nice, unapologetically staring and then agreeing with her. The Tiefling, however, had his attention diverted by another woman, who had asked for the same drink and thanked him with a nod (@Panda_Hermit_98) "Ya take my recommendation, ya join the group, them's the rules" The Tiefling said, noticing that she was, indeed, alone "C'mon" He said, his tail gesturing her to come closer as it swayed back and forth: If it meant "get closer to the group" or "get closer to me" was left unambiguous.

The turning head of the stranger was met with a short wave from the Zabrak. His thumb, index and middle extended up in a short gesture, curling inward after only a moment with the limb resting upon the counter which was adorned in a repeating swirl of glasses that had left condensation in their alcoholic wake. The silent blink was met with a similar motion, pale eyes blinking once and raising a thin brow in response.

"Got two down already. Ain't no sense in rushin' it." Kotru replied, shrugging his shoulders with a lighthearted grin curling those faint lips of his. He recognized the clear shot pretty easily. Between the numerous exotic drinks, there was still the simple and bitter spirits that had somehow always been popular.

A taste he absolutely did not get.

"Hell, I'll bite." The hand previously used to greet was raised again. "'Nother Millaflower sour down our way, if you'd be so kind!" Kotru would call, the previous glass tilted back to his lips with the vibrant drink disappearing into his gullet. Said glasses were soon taken and replaced, accepting the swap as Kotru glanced down at the smaller shot glass he had. On the other side of the two stools, Laeo found himself glancing down a small glass full of a vibrant green drink.

The taste was light and minty, easy to sip or gulp down with that unmistakable bite of gin trailing each mouthful. As for his Zabrak acquaintance, he had the rather entertaining show of Kotru downing the shot in one go and huffing in protest at the burn of straight vodka.

"Ain't even 'nough for a swig." He would huff back after a moment, turning a head to the stranger with a smirk of his own. "How're you gonna enjoy it?"

This was entirely not her first choice of activities she could have decided, going to a club was at the bottom of her list. The pop culture holonet was blowing up lately on G'wenee's attractions, probably because it was frequently overshadowed by their galactic neighbor, Taris, but it was enough to draw the woman into an impulsive decision to visit and check out where the people were going. However, that as the problem- the people, and there was the noise, the touching, and those who just stand a little too close to you. There was also dancing and that was what Tiamat sought, a comfort of hers since she was a child despite the constant state of discomfort she had been feeling (and possibly soon to feel again as she entered the club).

It wasn't hard to get in, she always drew eyes despite always wanting to be invisible. Her red hair cascaded down her back in loose curls, all she did was brush her hair behind her shoulders and the bouncer let her by, though a playful grin may have been present too. She wore a silk emerald dress, black heels, effortless moving through the crowd as for right now she seemed to just want to drink before she joined on the dance floor. The woman played fidgeted gently with a dainty, yet simple, gold bracelet on her wrist as she waited for her drink. A variation of her favorite julep, but just a tad too fruity and sweet, but she hoped it would be enough to help her not care about being uneasy.

Edin was well versed with tieflings and their tails. If this one was anything like his sister, Edin knew there was a lot of fire to deal with. The Firrerreo only smirked and threw back his shot, only half listening to the conversation about shoes. His gaze went past them and towards the red head (@GABA) that walked in. He vaguely recognized her from once serving her drinks a long time ago and also as the hypergate entrepreneur. She had quite a few eyes on her when it came to targets -kidnapping jobs, extortion, and a whole host of other things he could pick up if he wanted, but they were well below his price range.

He reminded himself to do some socializing with Ms. Asteria at some point. For now, he threw back his second drink and glanced over at the tiefling, “Haven’t danced with another man in a very long time, you down?” He asked playfully as he stepped off his stool and offered a hand. His gaze flicked up and down as he smirked, “Don’t worry, I know my way around the tail.”

Edin was social enough to meet with several people tonight, but he didn’t mind starting off with a visit to the dance floor first.

One man had already gotten on her nerves, and here was another just to stomp on them. Neri watched with poorly disguised irritation as the second man assaulted the first, putting his heel to the man's face and throwing up what she could only assume was some kind of gang sign. 'Men,' the Hapes-born woman thought, one side of her lip curled up in disgust. 'So damn emotional.'

Now Lux beating the man's face in, on the other hand, was more to her liking. Something about a woman who wasn't afraid to get blood on her shoes was just so attractive. Neri watched unapologetically, teeth biting back her lip, and waiting to step in until the Firrerreon was finished. She deliberately closed the distance in a way that put her right between Lux and Luca, not so subtly telling the man to 'get lost.'

"That's the downside of being a pretty girl," Neri purred back, her dark gray eyes searching looking up unabashedly into Lux's. "Everyone wants a taste."

The music changed again, the track fading from the heavy-hitting, rhythmic song from before into something that was slower and more distorted. Her lips tugged back into a grin, exposing her pearly white teeth that shone under the club's blacklight. Her eyes explored Lux's face, traveling from the intense expression in her eyes to the round shape of her lips. There was a tingling feeling in her cheeks, and the woman bit the side of her lip.

"You ever been with a Hapan woman before, Lux?" she asked, dancing her fingers up until they were just barely above her jawline. The music continued to thump and grind around them, shouting its distorted melody and almost completely drowning out Neri's voice.

Of course, the night was still young. But Neri let the question hang in the air, waiting to see what the Firrereo would say or do in response.

Yvon listened to the woman complain about her heels as a steady buzz filled their head. Not the buzz of the music but the drink that they sipped once more as their eyes were drawn down to the woman in blue's legs. The heels definitely did something for them, but Yvon couldn't help but notice the strong muscles there that were definitely not gained from strutting around in the unfamiliar shoes.

"Yes they do, though I suspect the heels have little to do with it." Yvon said after a moment of letting their eyes linger there. A wince at the thought of heels stabbing through bare feet briefly crossed the Echani's face, an expression they quickly put to rest by downing the rest of the spicy drink.

"That burns." Yvon finally admitted as they left the empty glass on the bar and signaled for the bartender. "A shot of something cool for me and my new friend here." Yvon said as they dropped a few credit chits on the bar. Things were quickly accelerating to the most Yvon had ever drank in an evening and the slicer wasn't sure where that momentum would take them but desperately needed a chaser to wash down the fiery drink.

"I should have asked, but would you like a shot?" They said to the woman as the drinks were poured. Either way she answered, Yvon would pinch their nose and toss back the shot. They had read somewhere that it helped with getting the liquor down. Either way it burned just as much but ultimately cooled the heat on their tongue for the time being.

"Ah." Yvon exhaled after a moment before catching the conversation next to them and eyed the dance floor as the song changed. Many mixed feelings arose, but the drink had them feeling adventurous. "I'm not one much for this type of dancing, my familiarity with 'dancing' usually starts with a fist and ends with someone unconscious but... would you like to join me on the floor?" They asked with a cool smirk that faded after a moment as their words hit their own brain. Yvon hoped the woman didn't perceive the request as some sort of threat.

It didn't take a keen eye to notice the way that Neri swiftly and deliberately put herself between Lux and the swoop biker. Try as she might Lux couldn't hold back the knowing, flirtatious smirk creep back onto her face. Despite her relative confidence in pretty much everything she did, it was always good to know that her rizz, like Neri's cat eye, was still sharp enough to kill a man.

Something you have a startling amount of experience with, I'm sure, Lux replied, a little bit of rose color rising in her cheeks at Neri calling her pretty. Was praise her new thing? Too early to tell. Though, if Neri was the one showering her with it, Lux thought it very well might be.

The subtle temptation that Lux felt as Neri continued to tease her touch around her was as vexatious as it was intoxicating. Lux was far more used to being the tantalizer but she had to say, she didn't mind being on the other side.

I haven't, but I'm never one to shy away from tasting something new. She said, lip curling as Lux bit it coyly. What about you, Neri? Lux whispered, trailing off a little bit as she pressed her body into Neri's.

Lux ran her finger's up Neri's spine, her nails naturally a little sharper than you'd expect due to her being a Firrerreo. Leaning close to Neri's ear again, Lux would run her fanged canine ever-so-slightly against the girl's earlobe before whispering:

Think you could handle a Firrerreo?

Lux let the question hang in the air, shimmering between the gravely bass of the song as it thrummed along. Pulling away just slightly, Lux would continue to dance, eyes looking into Neri's, her fangs glinting in the blacklight as they poked out from behind her lips as she smiled her wicked smile.

“Two already?” How much of a lightweight was this kid? “How high can you count if two’s too many?” He asked sarcastically, reclining ever so slightly in his chair. After sampling the absolutely vile taste of Rattataki spirits, nothing else came close to matching up.

Laeo took a moment to regard his drink; from the Zabrak’s gaze, it was clear that the boy recognized it. “I’m not rushing; if I don’t drink this quickly, I’ll never get drunk.” He explained, and it was true. Alcoholism usually came with a strong tolerance, and so it took a lot of booze to get an alcoholic on Laeo’s level anywhere close to drunk. That he had a few lines of spice in his system only made him thirstier. “I guess I could slow down, if you want me sober; but where’s the fun in that?” He asked, flashing the boy another grin.

His smile widened when the Zabrak accepted; whatever else happened tonight, he knew this was going to be good. Laeo took the drink the alien offered quickly, swirling its contents around, vibrant green swirling and its smell filling his nostrils. He was used to a burning sensation hitting his nostrils like sawdust, but this had a distinct, flavorful scent of its own. Taking the glass to his lips, he sipped its contents down, pursing his lips as he finished.

“...eh.” He said with a shrug, before chuckling a little. "This ain't a night to drink for the taste.” He declared matter of factly. Booze was meant to make him drunk; it wasn’t meant to taste good. But the Zabrak’s tastes were his own, even if Laeo couldn’t understand. Turning his attention back to the other man, he watched as he coughed and sputtered, struggling to keep his drink down. Laeo had to stifle a laugh as the boy’s eyes watered and he almost coughed up a lung.

“Deus, you okay over there? Sounds like you swallowed a golf ball or something.” He asked, finally breaking out into a chuckle. When the Zabrak asked how he enjoyed it, Laeo cocked an eyebrow. “Do… do you think you’re supposed to enjoy it?” He asked incredulously, glancing at the shot glass. "I mean, I like the sensation; I like drinking until I can't even stand. But on it's own?" He remarked, glancing at his shot glass.

“I don’t think it’d burn my throat worse than an acid cocktail if I was supposed to enjoy it.”
He stated simply. “I mean, I'm not into that sort of thing.” Laeo finished. His philosophy about drinking was simple enough; the point was to get drunk, and the sooner, the better. It was why he always took his caff black, why the protein powder in his drinks was flavorless, and why, on the few times he did drink alcohol for the taste, he was usually just sipping on something until he got invited back to someone's room.

"Besides, you haven't seen me dance drunk," Laeo added, giving the Zabrak a grin. "You're gonna be rolling on the floor when you see me stumbling around out there; unless you'd rather join me."

"Mm." Neri hummed at Lux's flirtatious quip back after her 'pretty girl' comment, her lips tightening back into a smile. Usually she was the one doing the tasting, though it helped when they came to eat from her open palm like the dogs they were. Her beauty was like a little light in a vast black ocean, hanging just above her waiting teeth.

Luckily for Lux, Neri wasn't much interested in her in that way. Beautiful women shouldn't go to waste. Luckily for Lux, Neri was very interested in a very different way. A shiver ran up her spine alongside Lux's clawed nails. So close together, and yet, still dancing. The bass in the music thumped on just a smidge slower than the heartbeat she could feel running over her flushed skin. Or was that Lux's heartbeat she could feel through the fingers lingering on the woman's jaw and the hand curling around toward the small of her back?

The Firrerreo whispered a question in return, her hot breath tickling the skin on Neri's ear. But as she went to pull away, Neri's thumb ran from her jaw to her bottom lip, gently holding her in place for just a moment. "There's no question," she whispered, lips just beneath Lux's. She paused for a moment long enough for Lux to pull away if she wanted to, but if that moment passed undisturbed, the Hapes-born woman would grin, part her lips, and pull the woman in for a kiss.

It wouldn't be a long one; just a taste. She would pull away after a second, a devilish look on her face, and continue to dance. 'Come and get it, if you want to' her eyes seemed to say, levied upon Lux with her lids relaxed and gazing from underneath her dark lashes.

"Nah, ain't too many on it's own. You only been sittin' for what, a minute tops and you're already down two? Gotta spread 'em out." The Zabrak smirked back, contrasting the tilt with one of his own as he leaned forward. His continued words elicited a chortle from the Zabrak, only a handful of cackles escaping him. "Hah! Not rushin', and here you are sayin' if you don't guzzle 'em down you won't be gettin' drunk."

Laeo's words caused a tension in Kotru's lips, pursing them thoughtfully as he voiced his own opinion. It was not that the Zabrak didn't like being drunk, rather that he enjoyed the gradual shift of his sense and the faltering of his thoughts instead of slamming back shot after shot.

Speaking of...

"Bweh-Heheh!" The last of his chokes was punctuated with a short laugh from the Zabrak at his companion's reaction. "Managed to swallow that golf ball, in any case. And yeah! What's the point of gettin' pissed if you're just doin' it on a bunch'a sublight fuel? Might as well enjoy the ride, y'feel me?" Kotru retorted with a smile, tilting backward slightly as he stretched back in the seat and relaxed. "Well hey, we keep chattin' shit and sharin' drinks, we might just end up on the floor."

The hand that had been clutching the empty glass lets go, gesturing over his shoulder with a thumb.

"Dancin', stumblin', rollin', what's the difference? Lookin' for a fun time, ain't we?"

Lissa seemed to pause at the suggestion (or was it a demand?) to join the Tiefling's little group. Did she want to join- ok that was a stupid question, of course she wanted to join them. Now though, she began to think more critically. She went from bar to bar for drinks, but also in the hope she'd find some kind of anchor, or something to do besides her job - she liked her job of course and she was good at it, but there was more to life than explosions and blasters.

Lissa honey, you're overthinking it, they're offering you a place next to them to socialize and you badly need friends, go and see them. She let out a small sigh, trying not to overthink things, and grabbed her drink before moving several seats over to where the Tiefling sat, passing the others on her way. "What kind of girl would I be if I broke the rules? Don't answer that." She said with a chuckle, downing the drink in one gulp. She was silent for a moment, seeming to have frozen, the only indicator of life being the sudden redness in her cheeks and the beginning of tears around her eyes. After a moment, she just reached over the bar, grabbed a piece of ice and shoved it in her mouth immediately, coughing hoarsely as red mist emerged from her depths. "That...that has a kick...wow."

Under normal circumstances, Arla would have completely missed the semi-flirting from Yvon. It was only the fact that she was making a concerted effort at being social that it clicked in her mind. Or maybe it wasn't flirting... just a compliment.

Thank you, she said, adding a forced smile a moment later that was a little bit less hospitable than intended. Yup, she'd nailed it.

I'd love one, thank you, she said having finished her own drink and now moving to the shot that was offered. She downed it in one go before her face twisted up in disgust. That was not as good as the last one.

Yvon offered to dance, and for a moment, Arla was uncertain. It wasn't that she couldn't dance, it was that she wasn't sure she could dance in these shoes.

I am uncertain that I should do that. I can barely stand in these shoes, Arla said with a snort.

I think maybe in the future I would be wiser not to, she said, giving a shrug a moment later.

But let me buy you a drink instead to make up for it, she said. Oh, people normally asked each other's names, didn't they? That was the "normal" thing to do.

What is your name? she asked, with about all the directness with which she did everything.
