I was wondering, what about Mandalorians holding classes to teach improved basics of hand-to-hand combat, et cetera? We could also go into teaching Mandalorian history, teaching about similar war like races, and the like. Just an idea of mine, I think it would benefit the development of characters.

Yep, classes and such are always welcome. That's something that people have been doing for some time now in the training sub-forum, which was renamed Proving Grounds.
On another note, I have a minor progress update: I've just updated the Clan Structure thread to reflect the addition of Clan Solus as a major clan and added its first three minor clans. I've also removed Skirata and Veshok from the list and replaced them with two new clans, Beviin and Jeban. I apologize for the delay. I should have gotten to that sooner.

Faction Update.
As some of you may have noticed, the Clan Vencu sub-forum has been renamed. Clan Bralor will become our next major clan as soon as the prerequisites have been met IC (they still have a few clan-building threads to make everything official). Clan Vencu is still a major clan, but I'm convinced that it is neither fair nor appropriate to take up a whole sub-forum for a clan that has so few active members and no full-time clan leader (my focus was previously split between leadership of the faction and leadership of my clan; unfortunately, the clan always got the back-burner and that isn't acceptable). Also, please congratulate Silverface and Kiro, as they have been chosen by Mars and I to take up the roles of clan leader (aliit'alor) and clan lieutenant (aliit ver'alor) respectively. Mars and I have utmost faith in their ability to lead and we look forward to seeing Clan Bralor rise and flourish both IC and OOC.
If you have any questions or issues in regard to these changes or anything else faction related, please PM myself or Mars and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks!

I. Kiro has been chosen to serve as third-in-command for the Mandalorian faction. This is purely an OOC role and has no bearing on either of her characters. Kiro will be given moderator rights in the Mandalorian sub-forum and will assist Mars and myself in day to day management and organization tasks. In the absence of myself or Mars, she will act as faction steward and if necessary, ensure a new faction leader is chosen by the clan leaders in a fair and timely manner. Please congratulate Kiro. She has certainly earned this with all her hard work and dedication to the faction.
II. It has been decided that our current ranking system, though informal, is largely unnecessary. From this point onward, the key roles in the faction will be Mand'alor (Mandalore; Faction Leader), Aliit'alore (Clan Leaders), and Verde (Warriors). On the battlefield, clan leaders will serve as generals and their respective clans will represent individual military units. Every clan leader may institute an internal rank structure for their clan if they so desire, but the authority inherent in such leadership positions does not translate to a special or higher standing in the faction itself. The Sigil System (also known as Blood Stripes), will now take a more prominent role in representing both veterancy and seniority in the faction as a whole. Expect a new write-up for the Sigil System within the next few days.

The Mandalorian Protectors. This is a new sub-faction within the Mandalorians, and will act as cultural teachers, police, and government sponsored Bounty Hunters. Any Mandalorian can apply to join, regardless of Clan.
II.
Technology Update. We have some new kit for you all to check out. A new Ripper, and a new style of Mandalorian armour! Expect more to appear here shortly.
III.
Activity Check! Please post here as soon as you are able. If you miss this, your character will be removed from the faction roster, and you will have to re-apply at a later date.

Faction Update.

Boys. Girls.
We're now officially back on Mandalore. That's right. While the Evacuation threads haven't all been finished (by all means, go ahead and wrap them up if and when you can), the main thread involving the return of the Galactic Alliance Chief of State and the evacuation back to Mandalore has been wrapped up.
Excpect to see some big changes coming to the Mandalorians soon, and events! Big ones! With explosions!
EDIT: The first change has arrived. The Command section is gone. The threads that were located within them, such as the Mandalorian technology and roster, have been moved to the Archives.
To replace the Command board, we now have the Oyu'baat! This is a board dedicated for Mandalorians to just hang out and be social ICly, without the risk of having your helmets blown off, and not having to duke it out with another like in the Proving Grounds.

The Sigil System. Although it took us a while, we've finally updated the system and added a few more rewards for exceptional service, teamwork, and leadership. Check it out!

Ravenous: The Concordian Deployment. The thread for the rakghoul infection plot has been posted. For those of you who are interested in joining, please coordinate in the OOC thread, which can be found here. Hessian has been placed in charge of the plot, so please direct any questions or concerns you may have to him.
III.
Fett Company. Clan Fett has founded a mercenary group that will actively pursue contracts with allied factions and neutral organizations. If you would like to participate, the point of contact is the current Fett clan leader, Hessian.
