I'm not entirely sure how it relates to Mandalorian conducting small raids on a few GA planets. All I would need is approve and I make it work and have it make sense and all of that. There wouldn't a real effect, in the long run anyways.

It relates because I am giving you a way to use your raid ideas. Until I see a formal declaration of war, the GA raids are a no go. Granted, I know that the Mandalorians love to fight and all, but I see no logical reason to provoke another war when the Mandos just ended one. They have to many internal problems to worry about before they focus on outside threats.

Generally speaking, small raids get the same response that an invasion would. Troops get sent and things get bloody. It's, in essence, invading and saying that it's no big deal. I am looking forward to using Atin but there are better ways than invading, as the response would probably be less that stellar. The simulation sounds like the type of RP to get the same action as a skirmish/raid without the chance of blowing up.

This. When things actually get going, I'm going to have an "eye for an eye" mentality. For every raid the GA is hit, we'll hit back. The simulation will accomplish this and much more. People can slaughter countless GA soldiers without the risk of it coming back to bite them.

It's also a good way to practice PvP fighting that actually users blasters. 95% of the duels on the site always involves melee weapons. This is a great chance for people to practice firefighting

The Farmer's Moon! Fett = Bastardization of the Mando'a word Vhett, which means farmer.

But that sounds great, Apollo. Count Carien up for that.

It doesn't matter if it is an full-on invasion or a small raid. Both of those would be percieved as acts of war. Until I tell you otherwise, there will be no hostile action taken against the GA.

I like this simulation idea of yours, Apollo. Kudos.

Added a basic list and brief write-up of our current territorial holdings as promised. It didn't quite turn out as I'd originally planned, butit works. You can check it out here. Let me know what you think!

I like it. But considering Ryloth is noted as being "very close" to Roon, wouldn't we own that too? And considering Iskalon is Mando territory, and is a huge ocean planet with loads of sentient species, wouldn't it be wise to take advantage of that? Aquatic combat training, recruitment, (sea)food?

Check the galactic map. It isn't as close as Wookieepedia states.

Yes, places like Iskalon are perfect for training... and that's why I kept small battle groups above those planets instead of abandoning them altogether. We can use them for large scale, live-fire training exercises or even individual squad tactics or survial techniques. Originally, all those planets were slated for base establishment missions (or in the case of the populated planets, diplomatic missions). Many of the missions were never taken and then subsequently forgotten, mostly because of the events leading up to the civil war. If you're interested, you can organize a role-play involving training on one of those worlds or even establishing an outpost or some sort of operation there. All it takes is a little research on Wookieepedia and you can find out what resources or advantages a planet might provide us and even what opposition you may face. Some are strategically placed, others have rare ores, and some are just good for farming or training. I know there are other Mando role-players that are willing to help. Start an interest check thread in the Mandalorian OOC Discussion sub-forum if you'd like. Taking initiative is highly encouraged and often rewarded.

Check the map. It isn't as close as they make it seem.

Tiny problem with that. I can't, because the map's been shrunk down so much it's unreadable. At least for me.

But alright, I'll look into it.

This one I've linked below doesn't show the Chiss planets or color coded territories, but it's the same base map we use for SWRP. Ryloth is in Sector R17. Roon is in Sector S15.

Star Wars Galaxy Map

However, the planet Rothana is in very close proximity to our territorial border. Securing it, along with the corporation that serves as its only form of government, would be a huge leap forward for our faction. However, an invasion would only earn us the ire of both the GA and the native population, so we'd need to send a diplomatic envoy in hopes of negotiating their annexation. Rothana Heavy Engineering has a history of fierce competition with their corporate rivals, but they've been in decline ever since the Clone Wars. With the MandalMotors logo stamped on their products and our fleet protecting their interests, we can help them make a swift comeback. Hell, we'll even let the corporate executives of Rothana Heavy Engineering keep their jobs if they agree. Greed and fear of what we'll do to them if they refuse should be enough to get their cooperation.

We talked about Titus using his diplomat skills in the past, and considering he is special awesome with negotiating this is right up his alley. Perhaps James (with A'den) and me (with Titus) could do this? Delegate us to different things we are doing, maybe. I'm not sure, just remember Titus is perfect for this stuff.

Feel free to work it out with him if you're interested in carrying out such a mission.
