That "whole mess" you're referring to happens to also be known as "a thread where people are capable of making posts to defend themselves" and also "a thread that takes time to develop, so he couldn't instantly call in the cavalry."

Just my point of view, but it seems like your explanation pretty much said, "We don't want you to be able to post in between him scouting and us invading, so we're gonna do a mega-post of everything at once. gg, no re, have a nice day." Or something along the lines of that >_>

Well, isn’t this just pleasant.

Manipulating people is pretty cool, like tricking them. It shows that you’re able to work them over and that you’re smarter than them, or at least smart enough to dupe them.

That’s not what happened here, though.

I wasn’t tricked, I was misled. I was told there would be no attack. That’s why I kept some people on Ando Prime, just in case there were any bumps in our moving to Conscio (you never know what could happen, after all). That’s why I specifically said that ALL Bogan who didn’t leave for Conscio had to remain on Ando Prime.

It’s why all of you who stayed behind are on Ando Prime right now and, because of that, facing an attack.

But you’re stronger than them so go kick their asses!

Now admittedly, I do have to give some credit for this. It was a blatant lie, but at the same time it was always assumed an attack on Ando Prime would come at some point. That’s why it was so important to get off of Ando Prime.

I do have to admit that both the Bogan leaving and the Jedi attack, regardless of the backhanded tactic chosen here, is a good thing. It shows that the two factions are FINALLY active. Really, an all-out Bogan vs. Jedi battle, whether on Ando Prime or on another Bogan world, should’ve happened months ago.

Unfortunately, I can’t offer you guys any support from the Bogan who went to Conscio, since 1) Banik didn’t allow for two-way communication (as an ill-timed safety precaution, apparently) and 2) Tarus’ post, assuming it stands since you guys have some concerns with it, blocked out communication. Therefore those who went to Conscio have no way of knowing what's happening on Ando Prime.

Your best bet for reinforcements is for someone to get far enough away from the planet in one of the many ships I did leave you behind (you’re welcome) and contact the Hutts. I strongly suggest acting on that strategy.

Regardless of the numbers, this isn’t going to be easy for the Jedi. The Bogan have the home field advantage. The planet is a snowy wasteland that the Bogan have become accustomed to. You can spread out, you can hide in the Andobi Mountains, you can ambush, etc.

This isn’t a simple matter of bombardment from space or a space battle. If they want to kill every Bogan on Ando Prime, they’re going to have to find them first.

I have confidence in you guys.

However, I do have some issues with Tarus’ opening post, so I will point those out in an OOC thread so we don’t leave it all here. I can’t RP Admin this thread, though, since I’m very biased; Jiang and Nexus are also biased in this as well. Lavi has a Jedi on Ando Prime but he’s very level-headed so he could chime in with some fair rulings, and Matt would end up being the most neutral of all—as he’s not really aligned with either faction at the moment.

It was a gamble, but so too was leaving—thus, all Dark Jedi remaining were given strict orders to remain on Ando Prime until further notice. No one was allowed to leave Ando Prime without the express permission of Lord Kelrada, who promised to contact those left behind once Conscio was secured—as the Ando Prime Dark Jedi were not given the coordinates to Conscio or, therefore, a means to contact Banik once the order arrived at Conscio.

Emphasis on the bolded point.

Now obviously I told you all what sector it was in, but then you have to find the system within that as well as the planet. Given this is a lost world that no one really knows anything about in this timeline, it wouldn't really be on a star chart.

And I'm saying that based on what we established about it at the beginning of the timeline, not what I'm establishing about it now.

My question wasn't addressed - Is Alice on Ando? Or is she still technically off planet since she was on a mission? It's somewhat important for my inclusion to this thread, as I need to know if I'm posting as a Bogan on the planet, or a Bogan arriving back to Ando Prime in her stealth ship and going, "omg, wtf, why are there Republic ships and Jedi presences (sensed through the Force, of course) here? CALL THE HUTTS NOA!"

An attack has been talked about for some time, as early as christmas was when I was told about it. This is most certainly not a suprise for you Bac and it's a little ridiculous to act like Sreeya's the bad person here. To say she outright lied is, tbh, a little ironic considering that it's not true.

If you've waited a month, you can wait another week for a Jedi Master to confirm the presence of Bogan before you blow the planet to hell. It would look bad for the republic if they just blew up stuff all the time without investigating much

Bogan presence was confirmed when we killed a High Lady on Ando's moon. Also, like it was mentioned before, we have a former High Lady on our side (something that was rp'd a long time ago), along with a Bogan Crusader who gave us Ando's location. For the last time, Lavi's mission was his own. On top of that, Tarus's original post is an investigation of the defenses right before he calls Republic in (who knew about Bogan to begin with). So we've done plenty of rps regarding this over the span of a few months. This is just what it all lead up to.

While I appreciate that everybody on the board is outspoken, and I realize that I'll be seen as biased because I'm directly involved in proceedings, I'd like to kindly request that we step things down a notch.

As I said, it's great that concerns are being aired. This gives me something to work with. Brandon and I have already made headway on the issues of my opening post, but I'd appreciate if everybody stepped back for a second and took a breath.

Again, I understand that it might be tough to accept these words coming from me. Half of you have barely any clue who I am and hate me for being part of this. But I'm trying to be as wholly unbiased as possible when I say I'd like it if we calmed down and worked this out civilly without posting sensationalized statements or border-line flaming.

I've roleplayed a lot, and this forum is one of the most-mature and put-together I've come across. It makes no sense for us to get up in arms over something that can be solved through civil discourse.
