I'll add that taking a ship and TRYING to fly away is a VERY bad idea.:CScool

EDIT: Unless you can outsmart bullet. In which case go for it.

Agreed.

The conditions have to be PERFECT for that.

Why can't you just tell them they're doomed. Stop sugar coating their DOOOOOOM.

Because there's no concrete doom. ;)

Because it's unfair to say "Yeah, we're forcing you to have your charas stay at Ando Prime so republic commandos can slaughter you. Have a nice day."

The Republic/Jedi had nothing to do with that. I made that decision in a thread BEFORE the battle and before knowing that a battle was coming. I can't change that now because the conditions of the Story have changed, that'd be meta-gaming.

If someone had an objection to their character staying behind, then this list went up 11 days ago. I can't change that. I can't change the fact that I said to stay on Ando Prime unless given permission.

Both IC and OOC, I did that so you guys didn't go off and get yourselves killed or accidentally spill the beans on the fact that over half the faction moved. It made sense then, and was a logical continuation of the profound secrecy that the Bogan have operated with since the beginning of the timeline.

We can't change that given what we know now, though.

It's also unfair to say. Hey, all of you die because your brains explode.

Stuff happens.

In other news, you don't have to die. You can get creative and find a way to hide/run/somehow defeat an army and a fleet of spaceships.

This x100000000 bagillion.

Your imagination during a battle is key. The power of a character and the conditions of a thread are only part of determining what happens. If you can outwit and outplay other RPers, then you can escape. Your imagination makes a HUGE difference.

True. At least I don't actually have much to worry since Albedo is far off and Nnitrilyaje was fated to die during the battle anyways

I don't suppose capture is a possible fate?

I have no idea. That's up to the Jedi and the Republic.

A Jedi would be more inclined to take you into custody than a Republic soldier.

This. Standing orders are "Kill it till it isn't fighting back." If it tries to surrender. Shoot it a few times then take what's left captive.

If you wanna surrender, surrender to a jedi.

So basically anyone who wants to surrender, you better find the sole Jedi out of a horde of trigger-happy soldiers.
And just to confirm, the Bogan at Ando Prime do not know where the rest of their faction is, not even the system at least?

They know that the planet the Bogan went to is Conscio, and they know what sector its in. Aside from that, for security reasons they were not given the coordinates to Conscio, and since it's a lost planet I don't think it'd be on any conventional star maps.

Not letting those who remained behind know the coordinates puts you in a bind for this thread, but that's exactly WHY I specified that the coordinates weren't given. If someone was captured or there was some duel somewhere, I didn't want people spouting out coordinates to Conscio.

The name "Conscio" itself wouldn't mean anything unless the Jedi and the Republic could actually find it, which would be tricky.

The Jedi are sending a few hundred of their own (NPC), plus PCs. So there will be plenty o' Jedi.

^ The Galactic Republic, the shining beacon of hope in a galaxy of fear.

This is for the safety of my troops, just saying, "take him back to base" doesn't make it safe. With force users, the only safe way for my troops to handle them is unconscious or dead, and to avoid tricks, it's advised my troops aim for dead, and if they survive, great, cuff em and give them to the medics.

There is a whole contingent of Jedi attacking the temple, the commandos are attacking the Bogan solider base.

So, actually, most Bogan should run into Jedi.

It was a joke. :p

Per Radz. You're part of a faction whose IC ruler is an absolute ruler. He made a decree, it is what it is. In hindsight, had I known an attack was coming, I wouldn't have made that decree, but it is what it is. If you're on the list you're on the list and that means you have to be on Ando Prime during this unless you got clearance beforehand or can show me that you were realistically off-world at the time.

well, since a mission I assigned to an acolyte was recently botched, I was observing the second attempt at it.
