Syrin felt rather uncomfortable knowing a blaster was being pointed at her, but she assured herself that, if shot, she would kill the stranger before she died herself. Stepping outside, Syrin was hit by a strong gust of wind; her eyes squinted a bit as she looked around for the Jedi. She could barely make out his figure in the distance, and she began walking towards it. Turning to the other direction helped shield her face from the sandy wind, and she could now respond to the stranger's question: "It has nothing to do with tech, it's something called the force. The force basically gives people all sorts of strange abilities. I can't really explain how the force works or what it is exactly; that Jedi over there could probably answer any questions you have."

Feeling lazy, Syrin stopped about halfway between the town and the Jedi. She had witnessed him using the force to bury the Devaronian, so she figured she would do the same. Syrin let her grip of the body and it plopped onto the sand. She was kind enough to gently force it under the sand; mutilating bodies wasn't really her forte unless she was extremely provoked. It felt kinda creepy to bury a body this way; it was as if the body was being sucked into the ground by a monster. Turning around to face the stranger, Syrin put her hands on her hips and with a neutral tone she asked: "What now, officer." The word 'officer' was slightly exaggerated.

Oren would watch from some distance as the woman used the force to engulf the dead man within the sand. Her skills were impressive and she commanded it well, possibly someone had taught her in the past. His eyes narrowed as several scenarios raced through his mind, contemplating everything he had witnessed today. She needed training, that he knew. Yet, he was too afraid, her skills seemed too strong for even he to handle.

He knew that if he tried to, he would fail to help her, and that she could fall to the darkside and destroy everything he loved. His hand trembled at the thought, what if she fell because he didn't train her? Emotion, yet peace...Passion yet serenity, he'd remind himself with a breath.

With some hesitance, he would approach the two of them, "What will you two do now?" He'd ask in a soft tone.

"At ease, citizen," Vara teased in response to Syrin's remark. She looked in the direction of town. She saw no one looking at them, so she holstered her blaster. "Again, sorry about that." Vara looked at the now useless shovel upon seeing the eerie burial method. She planted the head of the shovel into the ground, and rested her chin on the end atop her hands.

The wind was picking up again. It was refreshing. Natural wind was non-existent on Nar Shaddaa, and the only way to feel something like that is a passing speeder or the air vents. Vara had only been on Tatooine for a couple days, but she knew it meant a storm was coming.

The scoundrel saw from a distance that the Jedi had began to make his way back towards them. She half expected him to pass right by and head back into town. Vara couldn't help but feel that this series of events had troubled the Jedi. She listened to him speak softly. With her chin still resting on the end of the planted shovel, she shrugged. "I've still got business with the Jawas before I can go home," only heaven would know how long that would take given her current progress. "What about you two? Probably shouldn't stay in town if you have the choice."

Vara knew that the townsfolk didn't take kindly to what happened, and if they saw Syrin in town without cuffs or a blaster pointed at her, there would surely be a repeat. It seemed the recently deceased were popular and there'd be retaliation if they had an opportunity.

A faint smile appeared on Syrin's face to the girl's response. She felt a little more at ease with the blaster no longer pointed at her, but more so because she felt like talking to an equal. "Don't worry about it, though I find it funny that it only took one blaster to convince people that I was under control." Syrin turned and looked out into the distance where a massive sandstorm could be seen; she was amazed that people would actually live on this trash heap of a planet.

With her resting bitch face settling back in, Syrin turned towards the Jedi with her arms crossed. She was curious as to what kind of business someone could have with Jawas; they didn't seem like the democratic type. When the other was finished, Syrin responded to the Jedi's question: "I'm heading back to Coruscant to see if I can get another job. I'll probably get myself a nice meal while I'm at it" she said while holding onto her smaller pouch of credits. Syrin then recalled the Jedi's lightsaber; she wondered if it was in working condition, and if so, she wondered whether he knew how to get hers to work. Syrin lightly kicked some dirt to the side, "dammit," she muttered. She wasn't very fond of the man but being able to craft a saber was valuable. Syrin let out a few coughs and looked towards the Jedi, "If you don't mind me asking, does that strange-hilt device you carry around contain a laser sword thing?" Her tone was a little respectful, but her voice was shaky with some resentment.

Oren would smile towards Vara, his arms reaching into his bag to remove a mudhorn egg he had collected back on Eraidu. "For your friends," he'd chuckle, "Offer this to the Jawa and they should be a little more open to whatever idea you are proposing to them." The Jedi had always held a fascination for the little creatures, the work they put into everything they did, and their craftsmanship was one of the best in the galaxy, in his opinion.

"Thank you for helping with this situation, Vara.." He'd shoot the woman a sly wink before turning back towards the young Syrin.

"Coruscant?" He'd raise a brow, "A bit too crowded for my tastes, but it isn't too bad." He'd smile as he placed a hand on her shoulder, the force beaming out with each finger. He watched as she kicked the dirt, "My lightsaber?" He'd ask in a soft tone, "I can teach you about it, and I can teach you the ways of the force, to give you training," he'd say as his eyes locked with her own. "I'm sorry, I was harsh, but these matters...the force, all of it, it ripples and affects the whole galaxy. I was cautious, and I should have been more open with you."

Vara inspected the oblong, fur-covered egg with suspicion for a moment. She had not seen anything like it. For a moment, she had not even recognized it as an egg, and instead thought it was some sort of mossy stone. "Huh... Thanks?" Vara remarked. She was sure that the Jedi knew something about the Jawas that perhaps she did not.

The scoundrel listened to the two speak as she knelt down, finessing the egg into her messenger bag, making sure to avoid any cracks or damage to it. She did not want to find out what came out of an egg that looked like this, especially having heard rumors of Hutt Cartel members keeping pet rancors on Tatooine.

Vara intended to head back into town on her own to allow the two Force users to finish settling their differences, but her interest remained piqued in the conversation. She did a poor job to hide the confusion and curiosity provoked by Syrin and Oren's conversation. She hopped back up, resting a hand on her hip and glanced at the sandstorm and then at the two companions, "Probably best if you guys walked and talked, I assume you're heading back to town," She smiled to the two and picked up the shovel once more, intending to return it where she found it. She began to walk back to the town, assuming they would not be far behind.

A lightsaber, "So that's what it's called." Syrin thought to herself. The thought of some training also interested Syrin, though she felt wary of the type of training it would be. She was interested in the force, but she was not interested in the Jedi. The Jedi's apology was a key factor in Syrin's decision, for it is hard to reject someone showing remorse; Syrin may have a strong will, but no one has a will that can reject an act as such. She still felt rather petty about the whole situation, and so she simply gave an understanding nod toward the Jedi's apology. Syrin looked towards the sandstorm and back to the Jedi, and with a soft tone she said: "If you can really teach me about the force, then I'll join you."

Enough emotion had been exerted for the day, and Syrin was ready to leave the planet. She gave a nod to Vara and followed right after her. Although heading back to town didn't seem to be a great idea, Syrin didn't really care. She decided to try and be on her best behavior until she can learn more about the force and obtain a saber of her own.

The three of them would walk through the sands back into town. To say the day was emotionally exhausting would be an understatement, everything about the day had tested his patience and his control. There were ways that he could have handled things better, that was for sure. But, he was constantly learning as all living organics did. There was no shame in admitting that one could fail at times--for failure was the greatest teacher.

As the group would make their way towards the large oval construct of the spaceport, Oren would pause, peering back to Vara with a smile. He would hold out a hand towards the woman, "May your dealings with the Jawas go smoothly," the markings on his face would glow with slight affection, "Maybe the force will allow us to cross paths again in the future. But, if not, May the Force be with you Vara." He'd give a gentle bow before leading the young force sensitive into the hangar.

The YT-1300, Centennial Convor, was rusting and arguably a hunk of junk, but he was nostalgic to it and the many adventures it had taken him along the journey he called life. R2-H5 would beep and bounce softly as the two of them entered, "We have a new friend," he'd say as he placed a gentle tap along the dome of the droid as he passed.

As the two of them would step into the cockpit and the Knight would begin the controls, setting them for Ajan Kloss, he would turn to Syrin with a bright smile. "Welcome to the Jedi Order.."

Upon arriving back at the settlement, Vara nodded to the two, knowing she still had much more business to attend to. "Yea, you two take care," She said, preoccupied again with her next steps with the Jawas. The wind continued to pick up, and she knew it was time to get inside. She'd have to wait out the storm and hope the Jawas were still around by the time it was over.

"Oh uh," Vara spoke out, digging in one of her jacket pockets and procuring an illuminated business card made out of cheap metal. "If you ever need parts for a droid or maybe some programming work, give us a buzz, yea?" The card read Drakkett's Droids and flickered occasionally between Galactic Basic and Huttese. The address listed was located on Nar Shaddaa. Not many people came to the moon just for repairs or slicing jobs, but it was worth a shot. Vara also knew it was technically a work number, but the owner knew her and would relay a message if needed.

The rest of Vara's trip was relatively uneventful. Eventually the storm passed, allowing her to return to the Jawa's sandcrawler. Any complications in negotiating the droid deal was quickly ended after Vara discovered the leverage that the Jedi has provided her. With this trump card being played, Vara was easily able to negotiate a container of various droid parts which would help her and her Boss maintain inventory for a bit on Nar Shaddaa.

After realizing just exactly how much of an impact the Jedi had on her success, she wished she had gotten more information on him so she could thank him again. But alas, if the time came where she ran into the Jedi Oren or the mysterious Syrin she knew that at the very least, they were owed a drink.

Giving her farewells to Vara, Syrin genuinely hoped she would have luck with her job. Syrin wasn't particularly interested in obtaining a droid, but took the business card anyways; she had the feeling it could lead to a good fortune. Though, she felt rather ill thinking about Nar Shadda; the planet was the equivalent of a trash dump in her eyes.

Speaking of a trash dump, Syrin was immediately introduced to one in the form of a ship. Her face had disgust written all over as she followed Oren through the ship. "I didn't even know these ships could rust...." she thought to herself. Syrin carefully watched as Oren set the coordinates; she was unsure where there were heading but as long as he knew the coordinates she could use her own ship. With some minor genuine fear regarding her life, Syrin immediately turned around and exited the cockpit. "Sorry pal but there is no way I'm sitting in this pile of junk. I'll meet you wherever you're headed."

A 5-T medium freighter; it wasn't the best ship around but it was certainly a good one. Though slightly worn down, it was in a much better condition than whatever the Jedi was attempting to fly. As Syrin entered the ship, she felt rather lonely as she looked to the side. For some odd reason, she expected to hear or see a droid like the one that greeted the Jedi. She let out a grunt while heading towards the cockpit; "I'll take a look at that business card later." Once inside the cockpit, she flipped some switches above her head to prepare the ship for flight and she input the coordinates into her navicomputer. The computer didn't recognize the coordinates at all, so Syrin could only help that the Jedi wasn't leading her to her death. A new chapter of her life was being added, though the contents were yet to be revealed.
