Two tumblers were placed with on the counter, without ice, and promptly filled with the spirit per the woman's request. Malakai decided he would continue the trend of having whatever his companion was having. Taking a sip from his he came back around the couch and sat next to her. The drink was placed on the table in front of her whenever, if ever, she decided to take it.

"What like....existentially or...." His voice trailed off, not sure if she meant the literal location they were in. For him it was both. Five years ago he would not believe he was where he was today in either regard. Even to other people he still openly considered himself just a street punk.

With her question he first took a sip of his beverage and mulled it over. "Nah...no idea I'd be here." Everything had come as an opportunity that he couldn't have imagined. Kai just took things as they came. Sure, he wanted untold, possibly unprecedented power, but he really just dealt with things as they came. It was a delicate balance, planning yet being prepared to adapt to expected change to circumstance. The Grysk was unsure if he was doing it right but should he falter he wouldn't be surprised if death greeted him. Such is life

Pulling a bit of spice he began to roll a cigara. The spice was less intense than what they had enjoyed so far in the night but Kai had a feeling the evening was winding down to a more mellow mood. "I'd like to be at the peak of opulence with a special someone...." He took a moment to adjust his packing technique. "...but I think I'll settle for whatever with a special someone." He finished the functionally rolled cigara. It was no work of art but it would do the trick and not be unpleasant to enjoy. Pulling the lighter from his pocket he offered both items to Lilith.

[Lilith Vye]

Her eyes followed him while he walked over and sat next to her. She listened to his answer, and was a little taken aback by it. It was certainly more humble than she expected, and maybe a little sweet, even considering the opulence part.

"A special someone..." she echoed, accepting his offer and lighting the cigara. She took a nice long drag then turned her head to let the smoke drift out her mouth and nose as she thought. When she turned back she placed the cigara in front of Kai's mouth for him to take it. "That's not something that I've thought of, or, at least, not in many many years."

Lilith's eyes took on a somber hint to them and drifted until they fell on the drink, which she leaned to grab. "I guess I'm just always busy, you know," she added. The glass was cold on her lips, but the drink burned on it's way down. She liked the warmness in her belly though, so she didn't complain.

"Stopping to enjoy life isn't something I do often, but I wont lie, it'll be hard to get back to the grind after a nice night like this," she admitted. Looking back at Kai she tapped her bottom lip and shook her head slightly, giving him a look as if she disapproved of him but it'd be clear it was lighthearted and playful. "And I'm going to blame you for these thoughts. I shouldn't have them and I have so much to do..."

Taking back the cigara again he studied Lilith's face as she spoke. "You're...welcome?" He said in response to the so called blame she was giving him. The Grysk's expression smiled back telling her he was joking in the same manner. "I've been guilty of worse things."

Kai took a sip of his drink and enjoyed the burn it gave. It was certainly different than what he usually drank but still fairly tasty. "I think...you're curious about what I want..." He slid down the couch a little closer to the woman. "...because maybe it will help you learn what it is you want..." His eyes locked onto her's and he brought the cigara up to his mouth for another strong but quick toke. He held it in, letting the suspense climb past what was probably reasonable. With a soft cough he blew out the smoke over the table in front of the two of them. "...But that's only a question you can answer. And there are questions that nobody's going to be able to answer. In that case..." He dropped his gaze from Lilith's bright eyes and looked at the remaining liquid in his glass that he had just poured and shrugged. "...well in that case I guess we're all alone...together." A morbid chuckle followed and threw back the remaining alcohol. He closed one eye, letting the burning liquid settle. That was going to catch up to him probably.

When he slid closer she could feel the heat of his body again. There was no way for her to deny that it was nice to be close to someone. She hadn't sought out partnership for a very, very long time but she'd sought solace in closeness, and was never really successful in capturing it. Maybe a little, but not really.

But she felt her eyes wander as he spoke, and she drifted off in thought for a second. "Is that what you think?" she asked, letting out a single almost nervous laugh. Maybe he was right, but maybe she also wasn't ready to admit that.

Either way, she did not fight against how close he'd gotten; on the contrary, she rose her hand up as she looked back at the man. Her smile returned as she gently ran her index finger back and fourth along his jawline, enjoying the sensation and closeness. "You know what I think?" she started, biting her body lip for a second before continuing, "I think I enjoy your company, and that I want to keep enjoying it."

The young Sith leaned forward, only stopping a hair's breadth away from him, so close her breasts were pressed against his chest, so close she could taste his breath so she could softly brush her lips against his. "And I think I enjoy your spice and drinks too," she added with a giggle. "And perhaps... we've been cut from the same cloth." It was odd, but there was no denying that had a lot in common.

With each sentence Lilith got closer and Malakai didn't stop it. He had moved closer, the two of them doing a little dance with one another on the couch. One moved closer, then the other, and bit by bit they were only kept apart by their clothes. Even for him, Kai had to admit she was sending him all the signals that told him to make a move.

After she finished talking he put the glass down on the table. It made a slightly more clumsy clatter indicating he was hardly paying attention the wellness of the glassware. The hand slid back to her thigh while the other rose to the side of her face, pulling her closer for another kiss if she didn't resist.

There were definitely urges driving him in that moment. The alcohol and spice definitely having their influence but the Grysk wasn't the type to blame his vices. They just knocked down inhibitions for him. At his core, Malakai wanted to live in the moment with Lilith and enjoy whatever pleasures they could together. Provided she felt the same, his only concern was whether or not to continue in the living room or begin moving up to the bedroom.

Lilith did not resist the pull, instead kissing him back with equal passion. She gave into the idea of enjoying him completely. Although she pulled back after, standing up with a giggle that'd let him know she was up to something.

Curling her fingers under her shirt, she started to step backwards towards what she assumed was his room, keeping ahead of him teasingly. Slowly she started pulling her shirt off; it slipped above her before she threw the garment to the side recklessly. It left most of her milky white skin exposed. The only significant amount of skin covered was from her skirt, from waist to slightly above her knees.

Once she'd thrown the shirt however, she stayed still to let Kai catch up. If he did she'd place both hands on the sides of his face and lean in to kiss him deeply again before abruptly biting his bottom lip and grinding her body hard against his to reaffirm that this was what she wanted. Drinking in his warmth, smell and taste. There were no other thoughts running through her mind besides the desire for his body to be close to hers.

Kai let out a murmur when Lilith pulled away. But he saw what she had in mind. The lithe body of the woman started heading towards the bedroom, discarding clothing as she went. Kai did the same though he only got halfway when they began kissing again.

The Grysk's body, despite his face, was made of tone yet equally pale skin. Far from being unblemished, a harsh life had left numerous marks on him on top of the tattoos he had. While her hands were on his face Kai's moved down to hips and then behind her before picking her up off the ground and carrying her the rest of the way to the bedroom. An aroused grunt came from Kai when she bit him letting her know he enjoyed it.

The music continued to play in the background. The rain kept falling outside and the galaxy kept existing. But Kai was not thinking of any of that after the bedroom door slid closed behind the two of them. For then night it was at least just the two of them living in the moment.

A distant airspeeder horn sounded and stuck out from the background noise of the Smuggler's Moon. The music from earlier had long since stopped due to the playlist running out of songs. Even in the elevated apartment it was still early enough in the day for there to not be any light outside. The days and nights on Nar Shaddaa were long and while sunrise lasted only a couple of moments on some planets, on Little Coruscant it persisted much longer. For now the first bits of light were peaking between the city's horizon and reflecting off the artificial metal mountains.

Kai groaned lazily and rolled over but stopped as he felt Lilith beside him. Waiting a moment, he looked at her to see if he woke her up and then rolled the opposite direction. Sliding out of bed he immediately felt cold. Shivering and looking down he could see why. Shrugging, Kai grabbed his pants and put them on without underwear for the time being. Heading to the kitchen he plugged in the coffee maker and began checking his messages in case he had missed anything. But nothing seemed to be burning down so he ignored any calls and messages that had come through.

[Lilith Vye]

A bump in the bed caused Lilith to stir, her eyes fluttering open a few seconds later. It took her a bit to realize where she was, considering she'd been pretty messed up. But once she did, she recalled it contently and lazily stayed in the bed for a little bit longer before forcing herself out.

The coldness caused her body to tense as she walked swiftly to the bathroom attached to the bedroom. Her shower didn't take long, and she rolled her hair up into a bun since it'd take some time to dry due to the length. She searched around for her clothing after, putting on what she could find before remembering her top was in the living room. The smell of coffee was coming from the direction so she was happy enough to go out.

"Oh, good morning Kai," Lilith said with a surprised tone, blinking though smiling after. She'd half-expected the man to be gone, but was happy to see him in the kitchen. The young Sith grabbed her shirt first and put it on, then turned and looked at the grysk. For a few seconds she just stared, but walked up to him after. Placing a hand on his jaw she leaned up to give him a quick kiss, as if to thank him again for the night.

"I'll be stealing a cup of coffee, but after I'm going and finding something to eat. I'm starving," she said, chewing her bottom lip as she realized just how hungry she was. Lilith turned to grab a cup and filled it with coffee. After taking a sip and sighing happily she spoke again, "What's on your itinerary today?" she asked, tipping her head curiously, but adding, "People to beat up? Meetings with kingpins? Other girls to sleep with?" with a giggle.

"Morning" Kai glanced over at Lilith as she walked over and continued to look at his messages. But she came over and gave him a kiss that made him smile a bit. "Don't have much here otherwise I'd have started making something. I'm kinda hungry too." His tattooed arm rubbed his stomach with a following gurgle for sustenance.

Lilith joked about the schedule ahead. He didn't have much of one, yet. The Grysk laughed and lowered the coffee he had been about to drink. Kai looked at the woman with an amused expression. "Careful, you'll inflate my ego saying stuff like that." He took a sip of his coffee but his expression changed to one that was pondering the joke. "Also like...what kind of tool plans for that kind of thing. Unless I guess it's an orgy or a swingers party..." His voice trailed off to then have him jerk out of his thoughtfulness and just smile at Lilith again.

"Well I can take you back to your speeder too if you want." Malakai was curious to see if she had meant getting breakfast together or if she was also the type who felt more comfortable with leaving sooner rather than later.

Lilith brought a hand up to stifle another laugh, but this time at Kai's answers. He seemed to get carried away in her question, either as a joke or because that was just him. "Hmm I would've thought your ego was already fairly inflated," she joked again with a smirk, taking another sip of her coffee.

She thought on his offer, tapping her bottom lip before answering, "I'll just take a taxi, but thanks for the offer Kai." She smiled.

It didnt take her long to finish up her coffee. After placing it down she walked up to Kai, giving him one last kiss. They probably wouldnt see one another again, unless they ran into each other. After she smiled and left to call a taxi on her comm.
