"Ha! I love that you think I did it for you." A chuckle followed as he took the medipack and cleaned it a little before applying a bacta patch. The Grysk wasn't ashamed of his selfish nature. He firmly believed everyone was selfish right up until the end. With the better seating Malakai could see the door better and also he just liked being able to have a buffer between the crowd and himself. Maybe part of it was because he didn't want to be bothered when he and Alais were enjoying one another's company.

"Join...?" He trailed off, playing dumb for a moment as if he didn't know what she meant. His gaze looked up at her eyes but then looked back down at the hand as he finished working on the hand. "Couple years ago...I think. Time flies I guess." . Malakai shrugged slightly like it was no big deal. The man didn't actually know and maybe that should have bothered him. He had left Nar Shaddaa as a teen and had only come back in the past couple of years. There had been plenty of days which felt like dreams and on a moon with an eighty hour day cycle, time tended to skew from the norm.

Malakai looked up again to meet her gaze and closed up the first aid kit. He knew she was newer at this. She had the temperament of a newer member. "What made you join?" He took a sip of his drink following his own question.

She smiled at his answer. If it wasn't about the deal and purely self-indulgence it took any small amount of guilt off her shoulders. That'd mean she'd indulge in the lavishness of the night. She was surprisingly enjoying his company too. He didn't seem all that invested in answering the question though; maybe he didn't feel connected to the Sith like she hadn't. Like she still had trouble with. She was just now accepting that she was part of it, even if it'd been three years.

"I didn't even know what the Force was when..." Lilith closed her eyes for a second and sighed, trying to make sure she didn't lose herself to anger again. At some point she'd need to be able to discuss this subject without being bothered. "He discovered me and told me about it. I wanted.. no, needed to learn how to utilize it, and he told me that the Sith were my only option." Lilith grunted. "I realize that was a recruitment tactic now, don't make fun of me." To be honest, if she was the one listening to the story she'd make fun of herself. She was so naive back then.

Her eyes fell on his pocket after a second and she smirked before leaning forward and reaching over. That was what she needed. To get more karked up, enough that nothing bothered her. With her pale fingers she plucked the rolled spice from his pocket, if he didn't lean away. She remembered he kept a lighter in a pocket nearby so she grabbed that one carefully with her wounded hand. The sound of the lighter filled the air between them before she took a nice, long drag then held out the spice for him to take.

She turned her head to let the smoke out of her lungs, already feeling some of it's effects rolling over her. "So...." she thought for a second. "Why are you running businesses on Nar Shaddaa? Seems unusual for a Sith," she asked while waiting for him to take the spice. Hers was a relic from the past and ran itself. As long as it remained that way she'd keep it for the steady credits.

Malakai had received a spiel when he first was approached. It had not technically been inaccurate. He had desired power and control which is what he had been offered. Of course it sounded like Alais had been more gullible, or perhaps desperate when she had been approached. It didn't make her any less of a person in Kai's mind. If anything it sounded like they had some things in common.

"Well if you..." Malakai saw her lean in and it gave him pause. Her hand sliding into his pocket and pulling out the rolled cigara and lighter. It was evident she wasn't bothered by personal space, at least not in this case. ...if you recognize your weakness that's one step towards getting stronger.

The Grysk would take the offered vice and place it in his mouth. A long drag followed allowing the ember to glow in the darkened mood lighting of the private seating area. The cloud of heady smoke left his morbid appearance and drifted out over the table in front of the two before Kai answered with the cigara being offered back. "Gotta pay the bills some way. I don't exactly see a donation plate."

The woman's question could have been taken more as a business question but thee Legionnaire didn't know if that the case. The Arcanist, the Knights of Ren, they each had differing views on how the state of the galaxy should continue. Malakai had his own and he wondered if discussing that sort of thing would end up with some kind of debate. He wasn't here to try and convince Alais of any sort of outlook but he wasn't going to lie. "Money is just another form of power. I like nice things and life is short." He shrugged and cleared residual coughing from the spice with a drink from the glass he had poured for himself. Things can be done better and I guess maybe I just don't believe anybody is going to do it better than I am before I die. If you want something done, sometimes you gotta do it yourself." His simple life was long gone. Had things been different Kai would have still been a simple spice dealer with his beloved riding in the passenger seat and living a life of another Nar Shaddaa street punk. Or he could have died in any number of ways over the past few years and shrugged off this mortal coil.

"You always been on Nar Shaddaa? How's a woman like you get to strip club owner, to fantastical space wizard. " He followed the question with a last minute compliment as it popped into his head. "I like the look you've got now, by the way. And I don't just mean your clothes either." He gestured towards her whole demeanor and vibe. It was different than when he had first met her.

At least he hadn't laughed at her, she thought, not that she would've been offended. She would've laughed at herself. She leaned back after he took the spice, snagging her wine glass on the way. Once she was all the way back she relaxed into her seat with the aid of the extra spice and quietly listened to Malakai. A small relaxed breath left her.

After taking a sip of wine she spoke again, "To be honest, I can see the appeal in that view and life." It sounded similar to the life she had wanted back in the day. The one she choose instead had become... exhausting and left her in mental agony for a very, very long time. "I think I'd be happy to settle into the same situation, but it's simply not an option for me," she added. There was so much she was doing now, and wanted to do in the future. Not that Nar Shaddaa wasn't on her radar, there were things to do here.

She was about to answer when he complimented her. Lilith let out one short breathy laugh, but looked away for a second in a shyer display that she wasn't aware she was capable of. The young Sith was well aware of her change in demeanor, but it wasn't something she purposefully did. The entire world felt different since she'd accepted the Dark Side, she felt different. Maybe it was the best outcome.

"A look?" she feigned ignorance after her initial reaction wore off, looking back at the man with a few blinks. She tapped her bottom lip with her index finger to finish the act; she wasn't attempting to trick the grysk, but being playful. "I haven't noticed anything different, but thank you anyway Malakai." She laughed again, but much more lightheartedly this time.

"Insofar as how I got to own Nightfall," she said, never really considering the place a strip club, despite it basically being one. "I grew up on Nar Shaddaa streets. I was a street rat, although there was a short stint where I was adopted it didn't work out." She shrugged. "I did jobs for the Crimson Dawn and opened the shop with the funds as a means of survival, nothing more."

"Do you have any friends in the syndicates?"
she asked after, tipping her head slightly and taking a sip of her wine. "Outside of... I guess me, but particularly any in the Black Sun?" She did technically still "belong" to the Crimson Dawn, but her question had a deeper purpose.

"Kai..." He corrected with as warm a smile as a skull could have. "...call me Kai." He prefered the shortened version of his name. Especially around people he liked. But she would continue which he listened to with interest.

When she finished her backstory, provided it was true, it further added to his reading of her character. She was a survivor first and foremost. Everything she had said so far pointed towards that. Survival takes precedence over pleasure. That's why it's simply 'not an option' for her His relationship with potential death was not so clear cut.

His eyes looked up towards the ceiling and the Grysk pondered who he would consider a friend. Alais likely hadn't meant it literally but more as a business relationship. "Oh sure. I'm a likable guy. Black Sun...Hutts..Droid Gotra. Who doesn't like having friends?" His eyes looked back at her with a slight grin followed with a teasing tone. "Don't tell me your the jealous type."

The news of his connections made her smile, and it twisted into an amused one when he teased her. "Hah. I wouldn't dream of telling a man he couldn't enjoy all the pleasures of the galaxy whenever he wanted," she answered with a nonchalant shrug.

"Well," she started but paused, deciding to be a bit more honest after a handful of seconds, "You can call me Lilith in private, or off of Nar Shadda." It wasn't like he couldn't have figured out her main alias, and what she now considered her real name. He'd only need to dig around the Sith.

Lilith took one more sip of her wine before placing it down. She wasn't being serious per say, but perhaps the conversation was more that way. "Actually I'm happy to hear about your connections. The Sith currently have a vested interest in befriending the Black Sun. I also happen to have a third alias that's...publicly tied to numerous hutt deaths even though I'm only responsible for one," she said honestly, maybe the mix of spice and alcohol really was working, but she was also a little more relaxed around Kai currently. "I think some in the Black Sun might be willing to listen to me because of it, especially if I continue to live up to my aliases reputation to benefit them."

She leaned her elbow on her table and rested her chin in her hand, staring at Kai curiously for his reaction. What she'd said was pretty vague, and it was on purpose just to stay safe; not that one couldn't make assumptions. But what was obvious was her interest in meeting his contacts. "Do you think you could hook me up?" she asked after, wondering if it'd cost her anything. While they were Sith and expected to work together, it didn't mean that that actually happened if there was too much distrust or risk, or that they didn't take advantage of one another whenever possible.

The Grysk was feeling the spice. It was giving him a good buzz especially combined with the drink. He swallowed the Spice he had put in his mouth and used the force enough to make sure that it did nothing else but the buzz though it would take some time. It was just too much work to get up and spit into a trash bin. Kai didn't feel like being an uncultured swine and spitting in front of Alais, or rather, Lilith as she said. "Alright...Lilith."

Hearing her talk about her other aliases made him think. The spice was probably making him a little bit slow on the uptake or maybe it had just been so long but he began to piece some things together. The Arcanist was responsible for most of the Hutt deaths but Kai had met with him under his own alias, Cuga Ren. Of course that name was as good as gone after he had lost his fight with Ender. The man had cut his helmet in half and learned of Malakai's true face though none of the Knights knew his real name. But her words indicated she was one of The Arcanist's associates, or at least used to be if she had meant the masked man who had somewhat gone quiet recently.

Part of him wondered if he should be disappointed. She was back to talking business. His eyes unfocused as if contemplating her request. Really he was neutralizing more of the toxins he had consumed since meeting with the petite woman. The back of his mind told him he shouldn't be as relaxed as he wanted to be. But he could respect her focus. I shoudn't be surprised. It's what I'd do.

"That's a lot to unpack. You've got to explain like....all of that."
He wasn't going to say no. But he would need more information than vague references. Kai was only beginning to make his way deeper into the Five Syndicates for his own agenda. He had come this far by holding his cards close to his chest and only showing his hand when it was on his terms. With his glass empty he refilled it and offered a refill to Lilith if she wanted one.

When he asked for clarification Lilith considered a few things. She'd been wanting to claim her Rain alias and tie it into her main one. It'd make her life a whole lot easier within the Sith if she could pool all her work together, at least among the ones that wouldn't suspect her of being a traitor too. But she could prove she wasn't as time passed.

She closed her eyes and sighed for a second, deciding to take the plunge, as it were, "We—Sith—need to ally with some of the syndicates to move forward with our plans to spread our influence. Under my third alias, I think I can spearhead the attempt to gain the Black Sun's friendship." The next part was the hardest for her, but she pushed on, "My third alias is The Rain, though you may not have heard of it. It is much less known compared to my ex-master." Another pang of anger thinking about him, though it was numbed nicely by the spice and alcohol. "The Arcanist, but that matters little because I can prove my claims and how effective I am at my work," she shrugged.

"Not that I expect you to stick your neck out, Kai," she added after, tipping her head in her hand slightly. Sith didn't tend to stick out their neck unless they had too and she actually wasn't interested in getting Kai into any mess he didn't want or couldn't handle. "But if there is anything you'd want in return my ears are open," she said with a shrug. If he did want something, she assumed it'd be someone dead, or aid in some project or a better deal.

Kai had not heard of the Rain, at least he didn't think so. Maybe he had been blitzed when watching the news. But at least now he knew that much. So if he came across the name again in the future he would be able to put a face to the name.

He already suspected her master was the Arcanist so that was no surprise but it didn't make it any less important. "What claims?" He said right after she shrugged. Lilith had said it in passing but he was curious what she felt she had to prove. And to who? Was it to the Eternal? Her ex-master despite her obvious distaste for him now? or was it herself she was trying to prove something to?

"Don't worry about my neck." He brought a hand up and rubbed the back with a smug look on his face. Kai was feeling more of the buzz. It was catching up to him but he felt like leaning into it. He didn't even realize he had lost focus on trying to mitigate his own inebriation. He was beginning to let his tune into the music and was slightly bobbing or tapping his foot. His head turned more towards the dance floor. Looking only with his eyes he scrutinized Lilith and then cocked an eyebrow. "You wanna dance?"

Lilith chewed her bottom lip for a few heartbeats before answering his first question, "The claim of who I am," she said plainly at first. "To be clearer, I mean I can prove who I am and how effective I can be to the Black Sun. Through both my history and things I plan to do. I'm sure they'd enjoy seeing Durr taken out, and I think I can make that happen, for example. There's a lot that could be done to earn their 'friendship' and pave the way for an alliance."

She was unable to stop her mind from mulling over ideas because she was always intense about her work but she snapped back to reality—or rather, her drug filled one—when he spoke again. He didn't really give her an answer but it didn't bother her. There were many ways for her to make the connections she wanted to, but Kai was the most appealing so far.

She laughed softly though when he asked to dance. "As long as you don't mind me not being exactly... steady on my feet," she answered smiling. But Lilith didn't stop there, she leaned forward and plucked the cigara from Kai's hand. Bringing it back to her lips she took another long drag until she couldn't anymore, handing the spice back before leaning back. She tried to hold it in for as long as she could but when she let it out she coughed a bit, but laughed and grabbed her glass of wine downing it.

Everything felt good in the moment, and it was doubled as she stood up and walked to the dance floor. Her body was warm and everything tingled, her mind felt foggy and most of her emotions were dulled. As she paid attention to the music she allowed it to fill her. Her body swayed on the dance floor even before Kai arrived. Both her hands ran down the sides of her body, and the sensation was amazing. This had been what she wanted. To be completely karked up and just let go. Maybe she should've tried to continue a conversation with Kai, but she was too spiced up and distracted by the music and sensations.

The man laughed and shrugged innocently. "I'm nothing special either." He wasn't planning on doing anything fancy. Kai just wanted to enjoy himself a bit. There was plenty of time to worry about chasing down Sith artifacts, managing a growing criminal network, and training to become more powerful. But plenty of people focused too much on that sort of thing. They let it consume them. The Grysk believed in taking the time to appreciate life.

He rose at the same time as Lilith. Kai looked down at himself making sure he didn't have any ash or anything on his attire. The petite woman would lead the way to the dance floor and he didn't mind the view on the way over. He began moving to the beat of the song and smiled as he could visibly see some of the tension go from Lilith as she continued to dance. Even though he knew he was a garbage person he still got a fuzzy feeling when he helped someone find a bit of enjoyment.

Kai got closer as they danced. His eyes checked the rest of the crowd and enjoyed the lightshow playing across them as the music notes were timed with the strobes and movement. It wasn't long before more people were joining the dance floor and there was less room to move. But that didn't stop him. Briefly he wondered if he should make a request for a song change so he could break dance. I'd want a recording of that

As she danced she suddenly heard a familiar voice behind her. Two hands grabbed her just above the hips just then, followed shortly by the feeling of someone leaning their head above her shoulder. Considering where they were and how inebriated she was, Lilith didn't flinch. Instead she looked to side to find a recognizable face. A man she'd met on a mission, far back, that wasn't actually a target thankfully. The two had gotten along fairly well, which was probably why he remembered her.

"Callen?" she asked.

The blond haired-man smiled, talking into her ear so she could actually hear what he was saying. The dance floor had gotten busy and noisy fast. "What are you doing here?"

"Out with a business associate," she answered simply, smiling back but in a friendly way.

"Well if you two want more company come find me," he answered. Lilith nodded in return and he let go and walked off.

Afterwards she turned to Kai and moved a bit closer. She reached up and grabbed a bit of his shirt to stay balanced on her tippy toes; she wanted to get closer so he could hear her talk. "That's was... I guess an old acquaintance. All I know is he'll buy us a kark ton of drinks if you want to amuse him for awhile," she laughed, then continued, "But I'm game to keep dancing," and she was still swaying to the music as she spoke to the man.

Lilith becoming occupied with another person didn't get beyond Malakai's perception but he continued to dance. It was getting busy enough that there wasn't even that much of a worry about dancing alone. He caught the look of one or two other partiers but that wasn't hard to do with his current appearance. It wasn't until Lilith came back and reached held his shirt. His hand raised gently to steady her at the elbow.

"I'd like to keep dancing actually." He looked her up and down to assess her state. Chances were that if she kept drinking she was going to not be dancing very well if at all. He checked the time on his wrist chrono. "But..." Once she had steadied herself he let go of her. "...I'm thinking I'll probably head out in the next hour or so anyways." He meant to give her the option of staying her with her acquaintance and catch up though she had ridden her with him. Meeting more people was fine and normally he was up for it.

Taking a deep breath he closed and opened his eyes to recenter his mind and then looked back into the eyes of Lilith. "You want to stay at my place for the night?" He had a tendency to just flat out ask what he wanted. Especially when he saw no point in trying to avoid the subject when there was nothing at stake. She'd shoot him down or accept and he wasn't afraid to admit she was pretty attractive. Rarely people asked what they really wanted so he was curious to see if that was something Lilith had expected.

"Oh, that's too bad," Lilith replied when he mentioned leaving soon. She went back to her normal height when he let go, because she was actually worried about tipping over at this point. She was having a lot of fun with him though.

But Lilith's thoughts stopped in place and she blinked a few times when he asked his question. It was certainly not what she was expecting. Actually, it hadn't even crossed her mind, not that her mind was all that... sharp currently. She really was in no state to make a coherent choice. Not that she was complaining, she was in a really good mood and place.

She could have fun here chatting with an old acquaintance or go spend the rest of the night enjoying Kai's company before going back to her busy life. This was a fleeting night, and she knew it. But she hadn't spent a night at someones house well... ever, actually. Back in the day she'd just drink at her own bar then go back to her room a couple steps away and sleep it off. But her life had changed. She had changed. Everything had changed.

For a handful of seconds the young Sith mulled over the offer. Her head tilited somewhat while she stared back into the mans eyes, and she bit her bottom lip before ultimately answering with, "Well I suppose it can't hurt to spend a night sleeping somewhere rather than my ship." She paused for a second, then smiled playfully and added, "Just know that, if I end up dead and missing, people will come looking for me because they'll think I ran off."

He waited patiently for her response. It must have been something she wasn't used to since she took the time to contemplate it. But she decided to take him up on his offer. Must be nice to have someone thinking about you He thought at first. "Well I'll tell the serial killers to stand clear for the night." He joked.

"If you want to say hey to your friend I can make sure we're square with paying the bill. He offered. There was no reason to head out the door right away. The song had changed to something a little less on Malakai's vibe so it wasn't difficult to break away from the dance floor and go back to the booth. The Grysk would make sure he had everything in his pockets. Too many nights he had dropped a commlink under a seat or left a wallet at a bar so it was his regular routine to make sure he hadn't lost anything.

There was time for him to sober up slightly and focus with the force to further neutralize the toxins. By the time that he was ready to leave though he would still have the potent Spice giving him a buzz. Heading out through the front door he called for his airspeeder to be brought around. When the valet returned it he walked around it and just gave it a once over. Nothing had been tampered with as far as he could tell though he did it mostly to just make sure they hadn't discovered any of the illicit substances in his trunk.

He tuned the radio to a different station than before before Lilith would join him. Malakai noticed the rearview mirror had been adjusted. Probably by the valet to park better. Raising a hand he adjusted it but it ended with him staring into the mirror at the figure sitting in the shadowed backseat of the airspeeder. "Sobriety sucks."" He muttered knowing that the less drugs in his system the more he started to see the dead. Normally it was only her. But there were others. It wasn't anything he couldn't handle. But being lit and not having half a dozen sets of eyes staring at him was not ideal. At least usually they stayed quiet. An oncoming airspeeder's lights pierced the windshield and flashed into the back seat. Malakai blinked but when he did the person in the backseat was gone.

Lilith let out a single, amused laugh at his reply to her joke then nodded when he mentioned her acquaintance. At least stopping by his table for a minute or two would make it so he didn't feel snubbed, assuming she'd be able to find it in her state. It wouldn't hurt to be in with someone who had deep pockets and connections, even though he wasn't Sith.

After a small amount of wandering she found the table and chatted up the man, who tried to convince her to stay longer. Of course, she'd already made up her mind and wasn't changing it. She didn't accept a drink due to the time it'd likely take to get the table and excused herself when she felt Kai would be done.

His speeder was waiting for her by the time she got out; a small amount of sadness hit her when she actually left the party though, despite the choice she'd made. When she slipped in the speeder she noticed the distant look in Kai's eyes and, even though she was too far messed up to exert the Force, she could still sense the troubled emotions in the man.

"Are you okay Kai?" she asked, tipping her head somewhat with a concerned look. He'd just given her a great night and it was disappointing to see that he might not have enjoyed it as much.

After a second Lilith leaned towards the man and ran her index finger gently along his jawline. "I know this night was simply for your own indulgence, but I've enjoyed it," she said before leaning even closer and placing a kiss on his lips, if he did not pull away. She could taste the spice and alcohol in his breath, but also him beyond it all before pulling away, "So thank you." He at least deserved that in exchange for everything.

"Hmm" His head turned to Lilith as she said. Her words pulled him from his contemplation. "Oh I-." He didn't get any time to make up an excuse as he felt her hand touch him softly. Kai's glanced at her lips as she grew near but wouldn't stop her. The dark sider kissed back before she pulled away and thanked him. A boyish chuckle followed shortly after to show he was taken aback by her action. "Anytime."

Malakai enjoyed being a good party goer and showing people a fun time. He definitely enjoyed the kiss Lilith had just given him though he had a feeling she may have just meant it as a one time thing. The Grysk would be lying if he had not just imagined her body wrapped in sheets in that moment. Clearing his throat and trying to play it cool he turned back towards driving the airspeeder.

The following minutes would be fairly quiet in terms of Kai's dialogue. But his mood was not the thoughtful melancholy that had been on the surface moments ago. The Grysk's spirits had returned as he reminded himself of enjoying himself and not worrying about the causes of stress in his life. Moods came and went for all people. "I'm glad you agreed to come out tonight, ya know." He took his eyes away from the skylane for a bit and glanced at Lilith. She was full of surprises and he didn't think that just because of the secrets she had shared with him. He felt like they had more in common then even he realized. It definitely made him want to get to know her more. "Thanks"

It wouldn't be long before they arrived at a skyscraper at the edge of the more prominent district. The building was dimly lit compared to other skyscrapers and some construction was being done on it. Right now the construction was dormant and he brought the airspeeder to a parking spot.

She was happy that he seemed to be in a good mood again. Hopefully it was because of her. Lilith was selfish, but she had never been cold to people who were good to her, and it seemed that stuck even after she bathed herself in the dark. In fact she'd been fiercely loyal even to... but she forced herself not to think of her past.

The quietness allowed her mind to drift until Kai spoke again. "I..." Lilith replied only, smiling honestly. She really didn't know what to say to that, so she simply brushed her fingers against his cheek softly to show a little bit of affection. Someone enjoying her company felt nice. Most days she'd felt wanted, but it was only because of her skill sets such as slicing or because of someones agenda, not because someone actually enjoyed her company.

Once he parked Lilith got out of the speeder and looked around. "It's certainly nice here," she said, though she stared pointedly at the construction and giggled. She wasn't new to Nar Shaddaa, but the wind had picked up and the cool air against her skin tingled. Before she even made it around the speeder, droplets started to kiss her skin adding another layer of sensations.

Lilith stopped to look up, closing her eyes as more rain fell on her skin. "This... feels wonderful," she said, running her hand down her own pale cheek. She was still very, very high and almost didn't want to go inside. She leaned on his speeder, or rather, tipped over on it and used it to prop herself up. It was a lot of sensations at once. "I hope your place has a working elevator," she said, laughing but knowing she'd have a hard time walking up sets of stairs.

Kai stepped out of the airspeeder just as rain was beginning to fall. He looked up at the rain and let the droplets fall on his face. He was used to the underlevels of Nar Shaddaa for plenty of years. Any water that came down wasn't exactly the type one would want to stick their tongue out for. The entire planet was relativly poluted in the first place. Even now despite traveling far and wide the Grysk still took some sense of solace with the sensation of rain on his otherwise morbid face.

"Heh, yeah I know a couple of tricks to getting a good deal." He dropped his gaze from the cloud covered night sky and looked toward Lilith who looked to be enjoying the precipitation. His hands raised to do mockingly sinsister wiggly finger movements. He turned to begin heading inside but then the woman began getting comfortable on his speeder's hood. Kai hesitated for a moment, looking around to see if anybody else was in sight.

Turning back around he stopped in front of the airspeeder, looking at Lilith with an amused expression on his face. Taking a deep breath and sighing he walked around and offered his hand to her. She was unsteady and probably a helping hand would get her inside before she caught something. There was a chance the turbolift wasn't working but there was at least a service elevator operational. "Yeah I'm pretty sure it works. Otherwise I'll just fly us up there." he replied and walked the two of them inside.

With how Lilith had acted, her accent and tendencies, it all pointed towards the woman being a Nar Shaddaa native. All things considered he had to admit he felt some sort of kinship about that and it was something he had yet to find in most people these days. Thankfully the turbolift was working. It arrived with a ding and then brought them to the floor of the high class apartments. But it was quiet and there were no other signs of habitation. Malakai somewhat liked it that way. It gave him a degree of privacy and isolation that was hard to find on a moon covered in a sprawling city.

The door opened and showed the apartment beyond. As the Grysk walked more into the main area he picked up a remote off the table and had some music beginning to play. "First things first...what are you having?" The Grysk would walk into the practically ornate kitchen. The only thing sticking out was several large vacuum sealed bags of spice. Beside them several sets of partially disassembled blasters. The man ignored both and pulled up a handle of tihaar in one hand and accarrgm. Of course he did it mostly to get a smile out of Lilith. There was plenty of other libations available.

When Lilith looked at Kai she saw him putting both his hands down. It made her blink a few times and wonder what he was doing, since he hadn't lit a sig or something but her mind wandered back to her senses again. He seemed to walk away, but then turned around and came back to offer his hand. Lilith smiled and accepted the help. As they walked, she wrapped her arms around his one arm. It gave her much more support.

The quietness of the place made Lilith understand the appeal, and she happily entered the apartment. When her eyes fell over the spice and blaster she said, "Feels like home" with a giggle before finding a couch. She sat down, running her hands up through her light blonde hair slowly and sighing contently. It made her hair a little messy, but it felt good and she was comfortable.

The young Sith turned her attention to Kai at his question, smiling again. "I'll take the tihaar," she answered before laying her head back and staring at the ceiling. In truth, she'd had enough accargm when she stayed on Kashyyyk but she wasn't going to mention that.

"You know, I never thought I'd be in a place like this," she said honestly. Maybe he'd look down on her for it, but considering she had grown up on the streets it was surprising she wasn't dead or still slaving for the syndicates in god knows what place. "What about you, Kai? Ever think you'd be here? Any place you wanna be in the future?" she asked, the thoughts floating through her drug addled mind as she turned her head slightly to look at him. She had bombarded him with questions earlier, but she wasn't going to hold back when new ones came to mind.
