Kai is a little shorter and smaller than the average male human. He has black hair and a full beard kept to a moderate length. His hair is a medium length and wavy. Tattoos can be found on his right arm.
ATTRIBUTES:
Kai’s intelligence is his strongest suit. Years of working with technology, coding, studying, and tinkering have kept his wits sharp, but especially sharp in the technical side of things. His athleticism is average, enough to help him keep up in field missions, but not much more than that. He is accurate enough with a blaster to handle live fire missions, but shouldn’t be relied upon as the main gunslinger. He has his own ship for personal missions and traveling which has honed his piloting capabilities, but again should not be relied upon as the pilot in team based missions.
PERSONALITY:
Kai is calm under external pressure going off around him. Blaster bolts whizzing by, his party surrounded, or an intense dogfight doesn’t phase him. What does phase him is when his partners question his work or rush him. When rushed or questioned, Kai can become defensive and argue back with his team. Kai enjoys keeping up with the latest developments in computing and droid technology and can lose himself in his work and projects. Sitting still does not come easy to him though and he always needs a project or mission to keep him busy.
BIOGRAPHY:
Kai was born to a single mother involved with a local gang on Bothuwai. A complete accident, she didn’t care to raise him by her own and involved him in her gang very quickly. From a young age then, Kai was involved in the underworld. On such a technologically industrious planet though, there were many opportunities for Kai to tinker with ships, droids, and computers. He found a knack for computers especially and his mother’s gang quickly utilized it. As he started getting involved with slicing, the money he was gaining and missions being assigned began piling and he found himself in some of the top missions in the group.
After sometime though, a rival gang caught wind of a botched plan to download their headquarter’s schematics for Kai’s gang to infiltrate. Betrayed by a spy, Kai found himself captured instead. Between the choice of life or death… he chose life and helped the rival gang slice their way into his own gang’s headquarters. Weeks later he was released, his old “home” destroyed and his mother missing. He was unable to understand if he felt guilty or not… he didn’t choose this life. His mother had him on accident and the gang solely cared for his talents and not himself. He convinced himself that they weren’t his friends and took off… Searching for a new life, finding the Syndicate.
SKILLS:
Slicing: Slicing is Kai’s main area of expertise and he is above average/excellent at it. This is what lands him the jobs.
Piloting: Kai is good enough to fly himself and win the occasional dogfight, but not a piloting expert.
Marksmanship: Kai is average at firing his pistol. Trained enough to take on the dangerous missions.
Stealth: Many of Kai’s jobs involved sneaking in and getting to a database, he has learned the occasional trick and mindset to limit his noise as much as possible, but has a ways to go till he is an expert.
Athleticism: Fit enough for a man his age and weight but not a pro athlete by any means.
