Biography
Von is a native of Coruscant, from a middle class family who never really had to struggle to survive. His great-grandfather had been a child recruit for the First Order, and survived to return to Coruscant. The old man never spoke much of his forced service, and he died before Von was even a teenager. It was always a mystery to the young Coruscanti boy what his ancestor had to go through. The rest of his family was extremely civilian. Bureaucracy paid the bills rather than any form of military service or skilled labor. A young Von refused to follow in the footsteps of his father, and instead looked to the unknown glory of his great-grandfather.
The Sith had become legendary, dark gods of the past. The Jedi claimed to have defeated them but Von researched them nonetheless. To serve a Sith was a path to power and fame, and he had to find them. He spent years collecting the pieces for old Stormtrooper armor like his ancestor would have worn. Instead, he found an even older helmet from the Galactic Empire, the first Stormtroopers. Authentic weapons and armor of the past only further spurred his zealotry for the Sith as Von got older. Eventually he found the Sith Eternal, pledging himself to their service as a Guardian and worshiper.

Personality
Loyalty and tenacity are a couple of words to sum up Von. He has a stoic nature that often makes him seem unfeeling. The truth is that Von has passion, ambition, and a swath of emotions just like anyone else. It is more important to serve a cause than it is to care for himself, so emotions take a back seat in most decisions. Being loyal does not stifle personal gain though. It is through loyal service that he hopes to further himself among the cause as well. His ambitious spirit pushes him to serve above and beyond the call, hoping to make an impact. No risk is too large for the cause and no one is important enough to stand in the way. Obsessions come easily to Von, who finds a goal and will fully dedicate himself to it.
