He does desire to get stronger, but he often says that if he dies while he is weak, he will never become strong, therefore he keeps away from dangerous situations.
BIOGRAPHY:
Raised in a traditional matriarchal Dathomirian clan, Vespir was raised for the first seven years of his life as a slave. His father was a spacer that was captured by the clan, and his mother was one of the leading shamans in the tribe. Having a naturally weak immune system, hardly any willpower to speak of, and less-than-impressive strength, he was viewed by the other men as weak and useless. His father would sometimes comfort him with stories of space and the Force, especially of the Sith.

He was trained by shaman leaders due to his remarkable promise in that regard, and quite possibly his more female appearance. This led to even more spite for Vespir through the males of the clan. Up until his fifteenth birthday he was caught in a strange position between being favored by the females and being favored by the males. He was not treated as an equal to the females; he was still expected to follow the rules that a normal male was expected to follow when in the presence of a female. He was not allowed to speak unless he was specifically told that it was allowed.

One day, when Vespir was ten, the men of his tribe went to Vespir to beat him. His father stood between him and the mob.

The group of men beat Vespir's father down, but he got up. They beat him down several more times, but he kept getting up. When he couldn't get up any more, the mob moved on to Vespir. Vespir rose to protect his unconscious father. The mob threatened to beat him, and after a few seconds of hesitation, he backed down, fearing pain, too weak to stand up for himself and his father. He cried for days over it, despite the constant reassurances from his father.

What he interpreted as a hate for the matriarchs in his clan was actually a hate for power in anyone’s hands other than his. The day after his fifteenth birthday, he went to the elder shamans of the clan with a spear and held it to the clan mother’s neck. While he did this, the men of the tribe gathered outside. He demanded a way off of Dathomir, and when she could not deliver, he killed her. He then turned and beat the rest of the shamans to near death, his mother among them. When he exited, the men attacked him. Enough of his sense returning to him after his fit of rage, Vespir was stricken by extreme fear. He turned and ran for his life.

He ended up at the location of the Bright Sun Clan, a Dathomirian tribe that had been allied with the Jedi; he lucked out and there was a freighter landed there, unpermitted, and undetected by anyone other than the neighboring Bright Sun Clan, headed to run supplies to the resistance fighters on Corellia. He stowed away on the ship, and hid until the ship was shot down by Sith forces on Corellia. He survived the crash, however he had some injuries. He realized that these were Sith forces, and decided to seize this chance, and try to join the Sith.

Not a bad first profile, but the biography could use a little work, at least in terms of fleshing it out and stuff. What kind of stuff happened in his past? You could go into more detail and create some important plot points in his back-story.

Thanks, I expanded on it a little more.

Last paragraph of the biography, says he forced himself into stasis, and he's been lying dormant on a tomb world since 3957 BBY.

Yeah, I'm not too versed on the force, but it seems odd that a teenage Sith just starting out can channel enough force energy to keep them in stasis for 5,000 years, that sounds like it would be quite a feat for Master of the force, especially without the assistance of technology. You have the works of a good profile, but if you want advice, I'd just nix the 5,000 years old thing and just bring him into the present. You honestly only really need to change the dates in your biography.

This is the start of a good character, as I am sure he will go through a lot of development as you rp him, but I don't think the 5,000 year old thing really does much for the character.

As Beta12 said, it does seem like an advanced thing to do, considering he had only begun training. You could speak with Empress to see if that's okay. An alternative is that while in the tomb he stumbles across an oubliette that he gets trapped in. In either case, I would request you speak with Rom to see if this is okay.

The original idea was that he was an adept in service to Darth Revan, and that Revan was the one that put him into the stasis, but that idea fell out of favor when someone pointed out to me that it was unlikely Revan paid attention to any other Sith besides Malak. The idea that he did it himself was suggested by that same person.

But then again, you're right, it is iffy. I'll think some about it and adjust accordingly. Thanks.

No ir could work. Malek was his only apprentice but he taught hundreds of not thousands of others. So maybe not so much of a stretch to have a bit attention

Even then, if I'm not mistaken, a lot of the Sith Emperors had adepts that were only trained in the Force enough to complete the bidding of their master that required more than average soldiers.

Indeed, and we don't allow Canon Star Wars characters in backstories anyway so it'd be refused by an admin if you had put that in. So you're right to not say he's even remotely related to Revan in any way.

So, I suggest you change the Stasis, because I'm pretty sure no Canon Jedi Master or Sith Lord has even been able to put themselves in Stasis for that long. My advice, drop the age thing entirely, but if you can find an interesting and believable way to explain it, then keep it.

I brought him into the present and updated his biography and stats accordingly. Thanks, all, for the help and advice.

I enjoy your bio but if yopur character is from Dathomir then you need to add something to your bio about how he reached the Sith.....there is a Quaratine of the plaent of Dathomir so no Sith can go to the planet without permission and no person is allowed to leave the planet without permission either....My Si9th Master has an Apprentice from Dathomir and she worked around the Quaratine in her bio.

It wouldn't take much, depending on the character's age. If he was around before the quarantine it wouldn't matter. Though I am unsure as to when that was made.

The idea is that the freighter he stowed away on wasn't permitted to be there, as it was running supplies to the Corellian Resistance working against the Sith.

Then you should put that in the bio clearly.

Since he is olny 16, the quaratine has been in place longer than he has been alive...but the idea of the freighter is a good one.
