Tycho's Flight Suit

A customized version of armored flight suit. As an active Jedi Knight Tycho is often on the move and prefers to travel lightly and spends most of his time piloting his ship and traveling between systems; and as an Ossein, he knows more than most when the poodoo hits the fan it's better to be wearing your suit when a seal pops and your ship starts to vent atmosphere than be scrambling to get in it. A simple and utilitarian design, Tycho often puts on his coat or his Jedi Robes over his flightsuit which helps him blend into a crowd and makes him look a little more relaxed and comfortable in the outfit. His coat has numerous pockets containing odds and ends from half a dozen worlds, though he keeps his jedi utility belt and bandolier well organized. To ensure that the suit remains airtight while dealing with environmental hazards he ensured an over-layer of armorweave to prevent high speed debris from causing dangerous depressurization.

Type and Coverage

Type: Light or Medium Armor

Coverage: 3 Regions without Helmet, 4 Regions with Helmet equipped.


  • Head: Enclosed and sealed duraplast helmet with retractable visor.​
  • Chest: Lightweight blast vest with removable Duraplast plate inserts​
  • Back: Lightweight blast vest with removable Duraplast plate inserts​
  • Lower Arms: Phrik Gauntlets covering the forearm and wrists, hands covered by bantha-hide gloves.​

Functions


Function 1: Rebreather (Helmet, removeable)
  • Rebreathers, whether built into a helmet or a separate mask, allow for the wearer to breath underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath and recycling it. Generally this lasts for up to 5 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 2: Emergency Vac-Seal (Req. Helmet)
  • It's no replacement for a dedicated spacesuit if you intend to EVA, but this under suit, when combined with a helmet, can protect the wearer from the immediate effects of exposure to a vacuum for up 5 posting rounds. You still need a way to breathe, however.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 3: Mag-Boots
  • Magnetic boots contain electromagnets in the soles and allow for enhanced movement on ferrous surfaces in microgravity or steep gradients. This functionality must be turned on or off manually by a button or switch.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes
Function 4: Armorweave accessory
  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.

Function 5: Computer Spike
  • Computer spikes are used to forcibly decrypt or unlock computer terminals. Most civilian systems can be cracked in one posting round, while most military or hardened systems take two or more.
