Batuu
Oh, Batuu, how many wonderful memories Jerex cherished about it, the planet he grew up on, the place where he was born, where he met friends, had wonderful parents growing up, made so many friends who loved him, discovered his love for the medical arts and, most importantly, met his wife and raised a son. o many good memories, memories that, while still somewhere deep in his head, were now a bit warped since his last memory of the place was the face of his master as he was being kidnapped, but Jerex wasn't thinking about that as he looked to his old town from a quiet spot in the distance, wearing his Knight of Ren clothes and mask and wielding his old, trusty lightsaber.

No, Jerex was just enjoying his nostalgia trip, the good memories, but he was also thinking that it was never too late to make new memorable things to never forget at an old place he knew like the palm of his hand, so much fun could still be had, yet after this particular mission he was planning on not coming back. so Jerex thought that it was only fitting going out with a bang, something to be remembered by, not by the villagers, of course, but by the force! Make this place the beautiful shrine to the dark side of the force that it deserved to be, the better version of the villagers and neighbours that only Jerex could bring out from them. Of course, many would scream, many would suffer, but it would be worth it for them as well, becoming part of the force AND leaving an everlasting mark on the planet is something not everyone is able to do, but the planet would remember them with Jerex's help, for this was a group effort and they were going to achieve it together! And by together, it wasn't just the poor villagers and Jerex, no, he wasn't the only masked menace in the vicinity...

The suggestion of destroying a village always pique Maeve's attention; there was something about the corruption of ordinary lives that seemed to lure the dark woman into agreeing to helping. When told of the location, she was even more curious to why her fellow Marauder decided on such a place. It was Batuu was one she could tolerate, but the idea of preference for one place over another caused her discomfort and therefore, as her Master had taught her, it had to be destroyed.

She stood quietly alongside Jerex, one who had clearly had more experience in the galaxy as she did and the dark side did not spare him whatsoever when it came to his appearance. It would be unsightly and she wondered with her own scars, if she would needed to worry if her own features would deteriorate further. They were of course, passing thoughts to eat up the time before they arrived to the village. It was quiet, the dawn was just starting and many were either still sleeping or beginning to start their day.

Maeve's gaze scanned across the area as she worked out a plan in her head to rounding up the most villagers.

"It is rather quaint." she stated flatly in observation, "Honestly, this is the best kind of places for these rituals." the woman grinned beneath her mask.

Jerex took a last, long look at what was once his home, not much had changed, did it? The same village he grew up on, a village that probably only mourned him and his family for a week and then kept going without much hindrance, that was what they were cursed to become, people that would be forgotten "Of course, such a pretty place, but it is far too modest, we are going to make it become important" Jerex said as he turned towards his partner for this little mission, every single one of these villagers would eventually be forgotten by the galaxy, by their descendants, but the village together would be remembered by the heinous acts that would happen today, they would make history.

"I have a few ideas about how to do this: at the end of the day, a large enough amount of deaths will do the trick, but if they happen at the same time in a ritualistic manner, the effect will be stronger" Jerex explained as they walked towards the village "So I say that we try to round up as many people as we can. First, we burn a house or two, that would make most of the villagers leave their homes eventually, after that, try to maim, not kill, someone with a limb severed by a lightsaber will probably just fall to the floor in pain, so they can't run away."

They were getting closer to the village now, a few minute left before they finally arrived "However, most people here have families, so...aim for the weakest link, incapacitate the sons, daughters, wives and husbands, target one and we'll get a full family, simple tactics against the simple mindset of the common family man and woman" Jerex kept explaining, thinking this from a logical perspective, if he didn't end up a sith and was in the situation he was about to put the village through, he would most certainly fall for that trick "If you have any other ideas that you want to share, please do so, I want to hear your thoughts on this" the old legionnaire asked, he didn't bring her along as a pawn, he didn't really like that mindset even if it was very sith-like, they both worked towards the same goal so she had a say on the matter.
