Throughout the Sith territory, from the city towers of raining Drommund Kaas to the neglected slums of Taris, a message was sent out from the office Lord Stolas. It would reach beyond their territory to the greater holonet to commerce guilds, mercenary companies, and syndicates struggling under the weight of rampant plague. First the symbol of the Sith flickered into place on holoscreens followed by the Darth's sigil of office. A period of adjustment and getting things into to order had followed the recent expansions of territory and it was now time to address the people within what had become Sith territory, regardless of how it had come to be.

Stolas wore his
armour and stood before a crowd of citizens on Drommund Kaas gathered in a wide, covered plaza shielded from the infinite storm overhead. Armoured soldiers and uniformed officers stood behind him on a raised dias. Men and women from many planets, wearing attire from their culture, had also joined him on the dias. A moment of quiet passed as the Darth looked over the gathered crowds.

"I have a vision of the future," he began, his voice booming in smooth tones over the din of citizenry, evenly and well articulated. They fell silent as they listened. "Of a grand and prosperous nation, united and strong. Of a galaxy where those who rule it are competent and wise. For those who have been neglected and forgotten to be uplifted. A time of change and progress is sweeping through the galaxy and new factions are rising. I intend for us to be a force of this change. For millennia the old Republic's long roots have buried themselves in the galaxy, and now those roots are rotten. The greatest thing they've done in centuries was put the word 'New' in front of their name." Mixed chuckling and discussion took hold of the ground for a few moments as Stolas let his listeners consider the meaning of what he said.

An arm swept out to the crowds, to the cameras, to the billions of who watched this address. "Stagnation is rampant. Few social programs, no consensus on policy. Instead, many unfit to rule have chosen to sit on high and reap the benefits while neglecting the needs of their people." A murmuring traveled through the crowd. It was no secret that there were worlds where entrenched leadership had abused their people like on Taris, or others the Free Worlds had left to struggle on their own. The ISC itself had risen from planets historically ignored by the powerful Core worlds, especially since the decline and dissolvement of the old Republic.

"It is clear those who pull the strings in the Free Worlds have no desire to allow this vision to pass. They and the Jedi who support them will strike at us at every turn just as they always have. They fear you all will remember the Golden Age of past governments." Soldiers stepped forward from behind Stolas to stand at his side, an arm coming up to gesture toward them. They took off their helmets, a mix of men and women from different species with expressions all set in steeled determination.

"Our armed forces and other agencies will accept applicants from all walks of life! Service guarantees opportunity for advancement and could lead into a career, whether military, government, or civilian. Engineers, scientists, and medical professionals are all needed. Those in the undercities and slums, those unsure of their path, I speak to you now. Join us and become part of a greater future!" The soldier raised their helmets in a thunderous cheer that was echoed with fervor in the crowd. Stolas had begun the process of expanding and centralizing the Sith military and many positions were open to those who wanted to join up.

"And to the systems near our borders, to all nations across the galaxy, you are invited to diplomatic talks. I welcome meetings for negotiation, in your own territory if you wish, to discuss the future of the Galaxy. We are not truly your enemies, nor are we unreasonable." His helmet once again swept over the crowds, the dark glass reflecting the varied peoples who had gathered from across Sith space, visitors from other sectors, and more.

"Choose well, I ask of you! Together we will prosper and build a grand future to outshine the stars!"

Nicolas Clément, Senator of New Alderaan would issue a statement in regards to the Sith propaganda broadcast, rebuking it and condemning it. It has been a while since anyone has heard from him, he was on vacation, the landscape has changed a lot, but Nicolas is ready to get back to work.

"People of the Galaxy, do not fall for the Sith's words or their promises of prosperity or progress. The Sith are nothing more than a terrorist group, everything they have, they acquired what they have by the lightsaber or threat. These terrorists proudly wave the same symbols, titles and even the their name Sith, which under those have been responsible for mass murder, genocide, unprovoked aggression & conquest, and other countless crimes for ages. And destroying entire worlds." Alderaan and Kajimi were destroyed in the last century, they are still recent historical events. "Once they have you on under their thrall, they will take away your freedoms and all the other rights we take for granted in civilized space." referring to people or planets that would join up with them.

"People who join terrorist groups, are indeed terrorists themselves and will be treated as such if caught." There should be little respite for people who join the Sith. They are either desperate, deluded, or evil in themselves. "New Alderaan will stand ready against the Sith. I implore as many as possible fight the Sith, and together we can defeat them again, just as we did over one-hundred years ago. For a better, safer galaxy." Referring to the combined citizens fleet at Exegol, where Emperor Palpatine was defeated for the last time. The people of the galaxy can push back the Sith one more time if they commit to it.

The statement ends

Location: Deep Space

One of his holo-screens flickered as the reclining slicer exited his trance, and reached back behind his head to deactivate the connection from his computers to the cybernetic implant that ensconced the back of his head. As he sat up, rubbing his temples and reaching for a nearby water bottle, he popped two painkillers from their packet and into his hand, before rubbing his eyes. Oron tapped the side of the flickering screen, changing the channel to the newsfeeds just as a broadcast started. He checked his firewalls where up, and his location was still masked, watching the Sith sigil, one which countless billions feared, emerge onto his screen.

"Oh great." he mumbled, taking the two painkillers with a swig from his water bottle, before turning up the volume. If nothing else, the Sith new how to set a tone. He chuckled to himself as the commanding looking Lord boomed on about visions of the future and 'change and progress', which to Orons understanding was never good for those who got in its way, 'sweeping through the galaxy'. The Lord proceeded to have a go at the New Republic, determining them to be unfit to rule and neglectful. Being something of a student of history, Oron considered that to be the case with most governments, depending on your point of view.

"And there we go, the boys in black are back!" he laughed, talking to himself as the armed and armoured troopers stepped forward to flank their Lord. "We all know where this is going." Oron put the water bottle down and turned down the volume on the screen, clicking it onto subtitles as Nicholas Clément of the Republic started a separate broadcast, branding the Sith as 'terrorists'.

He sat back in his chair, spinning around to face his deck "We go anything on these two, Darth Sto...las? Stoylas? And Clement?"

"Not unless you intend to crack the database of two of the largest powers in the galaxy." came the reply of the disembodied protocol unit he had linked up to the device.

"Eh," Oron sat back in his chair, his hands behind his head, feet on the desk "Maybe one day."

Alex was alone, as she often was these days, a variety of holonet broadcast displayed against the wall of her small office. The news feeds from major Free World, Republic, ISC, and Sith outlets playing out in real time. She would not repeat the mistakes of the past. Isolating herself within the sconce of one world view. What the galaxy saw, Alexandria Voran saw. The Sith feed switched, showing a familiar face. Alex flicked her hand to expand the view. Her mouth formed a thin hard line as Stolas’ voice boomed in her office.

Here, alone, she could allow the frown on her face…the anger in heart flickering for a brief moment. She should have killed him when she had the chance. She would regret the betrayal on Taris the rest of her life. Alex shook her head. What a terrible thought. Stolas played the usual hits. The Jedi and Republic were old and stagnant. Only the Sith could rescue the downtrodden of the galaxy. It was the same old tyrannical speech favored by every despot. History repeated itself. First the Empire, then the First Order, and now Stolas. They all said the same.

The Senator from New Alderaan followed with an impassioned speech of his own. Alex made a note. She needed to meet the man. The Morellian Councilor knew Stolas’ words would sway some. Between the ISC and Sith, the Jedi were locked in a public relations war. A war they were sorely equipped to wage. She sighed. Max had been a reluctant face but good at it. Alex knew what she had to do, she just had very little desire to take that step. The Order needed a forward facing voice? Who else would do it?
