B I O G R A P H Y

Born on New Alderaan in it's capital city New Aldera, Nicolas Clément is descended from a minor noble family from Alderaan. Before the Battle of Yavin, Nicolas grandparents happen to been off-world at the time, but when the first Death Star obliterated Alderaan, his grandparents lost everything in the blink of an eye without warning, where once they took pride and comfort with their noble privilege. Like a lot of the people displaced, they took refugee in a safeworld in the Outer Rim, which would eventually become New Alderaan.

Nicolas grew up with his mother and father and a sister. In New Aldera they had it decent, being a middle class family. They had a modest place, his father was a career politician, having served a few terms in the Alderaanian Council among other things, while his mother worked as a as librarian. After finishing primary education, instead of doing anything meaningful or productive with his life, instead wanted to do nothing but party and have fun. His parents tried to get him out of that mind set to no avail, one night his parents would find Nicolas gone via a space taxi with only a note left behind.

He would decide to spend a few years on Zeltros, the party planet and having the time of his life with new friends, drinking, and experimenting with party drugs. Eventually one day, Nicolas would check the holonet feeds, by chance checking to see what's going on his homeworld, and he was shocked to find out his father was murdered in his home, shot with a blaster with the home robbed while he was alone. After processing that, he would return to his homeworld, stunned. After enduring a trial with the suspect, who would eventually get off because of bad detective-work. It was disappointing, but it was over. He didn't think bad about the system, but it could have been done better.

Although Nicolas wanted to do nothing but have fun, his father's passing did inspire him that if he wants to see some change, he needs to try and be the change he wants to see, he'd have to try to change his own ways too. Even in the holonet there is news that the Sith Eternal (which would later become the Sith Order) organization are terrorizing the Free Worlds. Nicolas would decide to become a politician himself. After attending University to study law and politics, he would then graduate and immediately start getting to work getting involved in politics, seeking to better New Alderaan.

Before too long, Nicolas would would run for a spot on the Alderaanian council with success, serving a term just like his late father did before. Close to the end of his terms, he would then set his sights higher after gathering support, he would run for election for Senator of New Alderaan. He went against a more veteran politician in a close race, but in the end Nicolas won, earning the privillage of serving as Senator of the New Alderaan Sector in the Free Worlds Alliance, his full name and title being 'Senator Nicolas Clément'

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Nicolas is a nice, kind-hearted friendly man, who as Senator of New Alderaan looks out for his constituents. Nicolas is passionate about his world, it's history, it's roots, and it's people. It is fitting that the Voice of New Alderaan champions typical New Alderaanian values such as freedom and high standard of living.

One major issue is that of the Sith. Normally Nicolas is an advocate for peace, he recognizes that peace is not an option with the Sith or anyone else who champions the 'Dark Side'. Like a lot of New Alderaanians, are not afraid to stand up to tyranny in any form it may take and be uncompromising in against those who are a threat to democracy.
