"How does this look?" Mila asked, slipping her jacket on and fanning her hair from beneath the collar as she inspected her attire in the mirror. This wasn't exactly her favorite outfit, but given such short notice it would have to do. A disgusted sneer curled her lip even as Kazumi nodded in approval. Why did she ask her? The girl would say yes to a wet paper bag if she thought it would keep her from earning a slap across the face.

"It's very fitting on you, my Lady."

Mila dismissed the opinion with a bored sigh. "I suppose it will do." At the very least she looked half way respectable now, so that was something. "I hope you have learned your lesson from this, Kazumi. I don't like being caught unprepared like that." A frown darkened her brow, the Yu shrinking with a curt bow beneath her gaze as she apologized for what must have been the hundredth time for her failure.

"Of course, m'lady. It won't happen again."

"See to it that it doesn't." Turning a scrutinizing gaze back to her appearance, the Crusader rolled her eyes with an irritated scoff. She felt absolutely dreadful in this mess, but there was little time to spare for vanity. Jyn had no doubt grown weary of Lairiel's company by now and was eagerly awaiting her return. Well, perhaps not eagerly, but he had nowhere else to go in the meantime and Mila hated to keep her guests waiting. She was nothing if not punctual. "I assume you managed to requisition the supplies I asked for?" Kazumi nodded again, handing over a small wooden box with intricate symbols and detailing etched along its surface, noting the faint glimmer in the Crusader's eyes as she did so. "Good."

"What do you plan to do with him?"

"Oh, nothing too terribly drastic." Mila answered nonchalantly, her fingers eagerly tracing the outline of the box before tucking it beneath her arm. "This shouldn't take long. I fully expect things to be ready for my departure here when I return. I grow so weary of this planet." The Yu nodded again as Mila pivoted on her heel and saw herself out to "entertain" her guest.

Entering into the small interrogation room, her attention shifted between Lairiel and Jyn, surprise evident in her expression as if she were amazed that her apprentice had managed to follow simple instructions without messing up. All things considered though, this little arrangement was turning into something of a windfall for the Crusader. Though she suspected that Jyn would patently disagree with that sentiment in the next few moments. "I trust the accommodations are to your liking, Jyn." She said, forcing a mocking grin as she gently set the box on the corner of the table and slid into the seat opposite the Padawan. "Lairiel hasn't been too difficult has she? All of your limbs appear to be attached, so I'm going to assume she's been gentler with you than I thought she might. Certainly more so than I would have been."

Mila passed a quick wink to her apprentice, the gesture being the closest she might ever come to apologizing to the girl. She hadn't fully appreciated the the hard work she must have put into getting a Jedi here for them to poke and prod at their leisure. But now that the innumerable benefits had started to take shape, Mila felt that her earlier reaction may have made her seem somewhat... ungrateful. The opposite was obviously true; at least now it was anyway. Sliding the box over to herself, Mila clicked the locks open.

"So, you want to know more about the Sith?" She arched an eyebrow as her eyes settled on Jyn again. "The first thing you should know, my dear, naive little boy, is that Sith lie." Her demeanor shifted as she retrieved a syringe from the box, holding it against the dim light in the room and giving it a gentle tap with her finger. "I didn't fully appreciate Lairiel's efforts at first. But now that I have a living, breathing Jedi sitting right in front of me... I would be remiss to let this opportunity pass me by." The Crusader gestured for Lairiel to further restrain Jyn as she made her way to his side of the table.

"But there is no need to despair. In fact, you should consider this drug a godsend compared to what I could do to you." Gently pressing the needle against Jyn's neck, Mila would inject him with a carefully measured dose of skirtopanol. "You see, as miserable as this chemical will make your life, it lacks imagination. I, on the other hand, could imagine a hundred different ways to flay the skin from your bones or fracture your mind. But I don't need damaged goods, I need information. And you are going to help me." As she waited for the drugs to take effect, Mila turned her attention to Lairiel, giving her a short nod to release the boy.

"I'm curious, Lairiel, where did you find this boy? It's not every day you have the good fortune of catching a pup away from its den." Mila placed the syringe back in the box and turned a searching gaze on her apprentice. They had some time before the drugs could work through Jyn's system, so now seemed as good a time as any to fill in the gaps to the story behind how Jyn managed to find himself here.
