To Steal A Ship OOC and Dice

So, this is where we'll roll the dice and talk OOC about the thread. The group playing is @fasteagle190 @Jexz @TenthCodex .

So, To Steal a Ship is going to be three threads long.

THREAD 1: The Gang Assembles

Joesh, Ko, and Kennic meet together on Ord Mantell in a bar to gather and to make the beginnings of a plan. After they finish, they'll catch a ride to the Colonies, where Simplex Astroyards is.

THREAD 2: A Perfect Heist... Hopefully

The group sneaks into the yard where brand new ships are stored to try to find a Y77 Simplexian. They will have to dodge droid and human guards, sneak part security systems, and Ko will hopefully be able to hotwire the ship and the group will fly off in it.

THREAD 3: Escape with the Prize

While flying off, the group will be pursued by some droid driven patrol ships. They will take some fancy flying and shooting to evade, but our daring adventurers are up to it. After they escape, they will fly back to Ord Mantell, where they will say goodbye.​

The mod said that this had to have dice. I'm pretty sure the command for dice is [dice] and [/dice], with d4, or d10, or wherever die in the middle. I'll have to check up on that.

looks like they may have left, prior posts by them are gone and when you look at the linked accounts from some of the characters it isn't showing the member anymore

@Jexz Hmmmmm... That's weird. I wonder how we'll treat it in character, because Kennek can't really disappear. We can probably use the Storyteller to make a reason for him to disappear. It can just be Joesh and Ko for this mission.

@Jexz So I asked a Tech Mod what happened, and they said that TenthCodex was permanently banned. So, it looks like it's just my and you.

Good job on finishing the first thread! I'll try to get the second one up soon. This one will probably have more opportunities for dice rolls, so this thread will get more use.

@Jexz So, I got the post up last night. I kind of fast forwarded the part where we fly to the planet and get to the place, because really it's not that important. I tried not to control your character, but just tell me if you feel like I am. I can split it up into a few different posts.

First dice roll!

To determine whether we can sneak to past the camera:

10-6: We sneak past without incident
5-2: We sneak past, but the cameras see us and record us
1: We try to sneak past, but the cameras see us and some security droids are waiting for us in the hall

Second Dice Roll

to determine if I can open the lock

10-5: Opens
4-2: Locked out and needs shooting
1: Triggers an alarm and alerts security

10-5: It was the right way
5-3: It was the wrong way, but no security is there
2-1: It was the wrong way, and they drop into the middle of a security patrol.

@Jexz This was kind of a long post, so if you want to advance the story and tell what happens with this dice roll, you can, but if you just want to catch up and I'll explain the dice roll, I would totally be okay with it.

To see whether the droids believe Joesh's excuse:

5-1: They don't believe it and start shooting
