Ok I added some more. How does it look now?
One final thing. The Mandalore we liberated wasnt a pacifist society, it merely existed under the yoke of the Republic, serving as the frontlines in the war against the Sith.

Hello!

I am yet another AFL from the Mandalorian Dominion, and I'm glad these guys have been coaching up your story, it is looking better. My best reccomendation is to read all the write ups available on the site, and drift off into Wookiepedia when you have the chance. Whil not everything there is still cannon or site cannon, it might help inspire some ancient pride.

HOWEVER, I am here to critique your tech. Generally, it is a good idea to link non generic tech to the corresponding page in the tech boards. This is just a simple copy paste job, hightlighting the text and using the "link button" on the tool bar.

That being said, as this is a millenia before TCW, Z-6 jetpacks aren't a thing....we use the z-4. Easy fix.

In terms of "2 mini flamethrowers" there are two options for that there is a Firespray in the tech boards, OR you could make them the equipped gauntlet weapons for your armor (probably best). You may want to brush up on how mando armor works as well.

Same with "grappling line" could be and independent gadget, or could be a whipcord launcher on your gauntlet.

R=415 may not be around yet, but is probably a fine generic sniper. There are plenty to chose from in the tech boards though is you are inclined.

"Lightsaber" is not hyphenated. Not sure why you have one, or how this guy expects to us it, but its allowed.

and FINALLY....

Buzzsaw projector? I can imagine what you have in mind here, but it

  • A) Probably needs a write up
  • B) is honesty, probably not a great idea.

Sorry if this looks daunting, but it shouldn't bee too much. For your browsing pleasure, here is a link to a fabulous comprehensive Compendium for site tech. It isn't fully updated, but it spares you several pages of write ups. you are by no means limited to Mandalrian tech,

It's not daunting at all. Just some more fixes is all. I couldn't decide which tech was available at this time, but thank you for giving me the link and the suggestions. I'll get to fixing them later today. Any other suggestions you might have for me?
P.S. Thrit prefers to be at long-range, in the event an enemy closes on him, he uses the light saber as a means to combat who/whomever.

range is smart. My concern is where he got a lightsaber (they aren't just lying around) and HOW he uses it. Lightsabers are a force users weapon, and as such require an immense amount of specific training to use without cutting your own leg off. Not only is that difficult to conceive in your characters story, but is also heavily frowned on in Mandalorian culture. As warriors we do not use the force as a crutch, and are deeply distrustful of Jedi and Sith alike. You may be better off with a vibro-sword, and you can find a way to justify cortosis alloy for it if necessary.

again, glad you found the tech board. I highly recommend you explore the site more FIRST before throwing your character into the massive fray. There are places for story, tech, extended lore (new), faction info, concept discussion.... all stuff that may preemptively answer some questions.

The light saber came from THE Jedi he fought and killed. I put emphasis on THE because Thrit only killed one. And he is not force sensitive either. Thrit uses the light saber cautiously, knowing what it could do to him if mishandled. He usually keeps it in a firm grip and will often use two hands. He doesn't do any light saber techniques and he's usually responsive when in combat. But you might have a point. I didn't want to be too specific in his back story.

Lightsabers are usually intended to be used with two hands.

As much as I understand the desire to have a lightsaber, as long as you are playing a Mandalorian warrior I highly discourage it. While there is no hard and fast rule against it, It simply doesn't make sense, and is totally unnecessary. Maybe he has it on his mantle as a trophy, but It is more of a liability in PvP than a boon, and is something he would be culturally discouraged from using anyway. I can't officially make you drop it, but it isn't adding anything to your character as it stands.

Thats all I'll say on the matter. Otherwise we will wait for @Arclight to pass off on the bio. Thanks for being patient, and a good sport, and we will get you into the dominion soon

Made some of the fixes with my arsenal. I read that certain parts of the armor can be given specific modifications. Do I have that option?

@Kameron Esters-

Approved on the understanding that your character cannot fight effectively with a lightsaber without proper training from a knowledgeable individual, and that you clean up some of the typos on the CS.

Also yes you can give some modifications, but don't go crazy, otherwise you run the risk of needing to actually submit it through the tech boards.

I only require two. The first is a light saber durable breast plate, and the other is a detonatable helmet. Is that OK?

Read the tech rules. Like is said before, you need to read more material on the site, most of your answers can be found already in writeups.

You definitely cannot have a lightsaber resistant breastplate. The rules for lightsaber resistance on armor is layed out tech rules.

I genuinely do not know about a detonatable helmet. It seems innocent enough, but could be abused easily. Plus we recently had someone use an explosive helmet to poor taste in a thread. Ask a tech mod, such as @Breeso or @Clayton

I read on CCT Armor page and it says individual pieces of the armor can be light saber resistant, unless the page is outdated.

The page isnt outdated but the rules for lightsaber resistant armor state that one can have roughly 2 to 3 small plates of lightsaber resistant armor, such as bracers, gauntlets, gorgets, pauldrons. To this date i have never seen a full breastplate get approval.

Tagging @Clayton for clarification.

Oh ok. In that case, I 'll settle for lightsaber resistant gauntlets just to save you guys the hassle.
