It'll still be independant of the Imperium.

Someone mentioned in the think tank that it could be like Game of Thrones. If you've seen that, every side has their own king. There's Goffrey on the Iron Throne, Robb Stark in the north, Stannis Baratheon as the true heir, and so forth. I like the idea of each clan having their own Mandalore that they believe is the true Mandalore.

I answered this in the first post.

[*]Mandalorians. This is the big one. Per Vencu’s suggestion, and based on an idea some admins floated about a year ago, the Mandalorians will no longer be a main faction. This is not just something Corden decided, but something the think tank unanimously agreed on. Instead, the current Mandalore, Corden Vencu, will die, the faction will fracture and each clan that wants to will become an independent faction. However, MandalMotors will remain and will use its influence to ensure that the Mandalorian territory remains Mandalorian.

Given that there have always been disagreements about what the Mandalorians should be, this lets each clan run things their own way as their own independent faction. Additionally, it was becoming clear that in an era that will be increasingly dependent on espionage, intelligence gathering, and guerilla warfare rather than battles, a purely military and warrior faction would be a lot less relevant as a main faction. None of this, though, precludes the Mandalorians from coming together again in the future. We will have more information on this moving forward, since Lavish, Vencu, and the rest of the admin team can help the clans get set up as indie factions.
[/LIST]
So far, this new era is shaping up to be insanely cool. It’s in no way a carbon copy of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi, but it feels like them. The general theme and feel is the same. For the first time on SWRP, even counting when we had a Republic Remnant in the first timeline, this is a rag tag rebellion taking on the might of an evil empire. This is Star Wars at its essence, and I believe it’s going to be the finest story we’ve ever told.

Keep checking back here for updates on all the latest time skip developments!

I don't see mention on its territory.

Contrary to how it appears you're reading my posts (in here and the previous thread), I'm not trying to attack you or make some offense. I'm curious or confused and trying to seek clarification on matters.

It'll still be independant of the Imperium.

Thank you for answering my question.

'However, MandalMotors will remain and will use its influence to ensure that the Mandalorian territory remains Mandalorian.'

Seriously.

I understand you're not attacking us, but this is now the second time you've asked a question tonight that was already answered.

Read it properly. It c,early states MandalMotors will remain as an entity to ensure that Mandalorians territory remains Mandalorian.

Definitely gearing up Clan of Vhett (Renaming Fett to it's root word) to be a raiding and pillaging clan, using a Viking mentality to run it. If anyone wants in feel free to join :D

I just want to remind you all of something: every indie faction needs a minimum of 3 RPers in it. Keep that in mind when creating your clan factions.

Very interesting stuff. Shocked about the Mandalorians, given past stuff and all, but an interesting twist. I also noted you said nothing about the Sith Imperium. Looking forward to hearing about that and the Rebel Alliance.

I just realized... With the Jedi needing to gain trust of the Alliance Remenants and not all agreeing on how the Alliance/Republic should be reformed... it makes me want to use Venago even more.

Yes...

Oh God, Yes... brainstorming some serious shit here...

Basic line of thinking regarding the Mandos is we wanted to give everyone as much notice as possible on the matter, as it's a massive shake-up to the status quo.

I'm definitely seeing plenty of opportunity for the Death Watch to show up amidst all this.
