The Training has begun(Closed)

[Zen]

He sighed slowly, losing more focus, before he closed his eyes, as he begun to think, thinking was not in order. He he just lost another minute just by trying to think. Shaking his head, he closed his eyes and begun to focus he slowly regained some of his focus, and then lost it again when it there was thirty seconds left. Dammit he was losing time, he raised both hands, and attempted to raise the tree again from it's bloody roots, which he failed to do again do to his focus being lost. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1."Time." He said slowly, it would seem he had failed to do a simple task under pressure. Of a timer. He sighed and just waited for her to tell him what he did wrong, and what he needed to improve, and rub it in his face how he was wrong and she was right. He sighed.

 

[Padmé]

While Padawan progressed with the task at hand, the female Knight observed with batted breath. She was rather surprised, towards the very last seconds, at the trajectory in which Alex Nono carried the task. Merely made an effort to tap in to the Force; something that puzzled Knight Lamb.

"Time," came Alex's audible voice shortly after his three minutes was up. He paused, which in of itself came as surprise to Lamb as the task was no where near complete! If placed were to be switched Lamb was pretty certain she would have kept working on the task until her master stopped her. Tenacity was her forte, and it pained her to see none, as far as she could tell, in the man.

Levitating off her feet and into the air, the blonde maneuvered through the wooded area to Padawan Nono's standing point. "I didn't tell you stop," she said in a gentle tone. "..in fact, I really was expecting you to knock through the task in less time. You demonstrated less prowess here than you did with the droid spar...Even so, good try. Now let's star again...You do know how to tap into the Force, right?.. Do tap into the Force. That was really the only thing I saw that needed improvement. Three minutes from the top. Go, well unless you've got a query."

With that, the Nabooian Knight maneuvered back around Alex, away from his sight, lest she get knocked over by the pending tree fall!

 

[Zen]

He looked sighed and did not give her a reply, he had not time for her annoying speech so he choose to ignore her. Once she gave him the timer he shook his head and sighed. As he closed his eyes he raised his hands and took out his emotion out so he would not be disturbed and cleared his mind for a small amount of time, before he raised both his hands, and the tree was uprooted from the ground and lifted towards the ground, placing it slowly beside his Master, and raising a second hand and raised another tree and placed it next to her. He sighed, as stain took over him. And he waited Slowly.

 

[Padmé]

Knight Lamb was rather glad that her Padawan had managed to complete the task. On time too, to say the least. She watched as each tree was uprooted and placed next to her- albeit close- but nonetheless close.

“Good. Now we can’t waste the trees you just uprooted. We must be careful and mindful stewards.” The woman reached down by her side- remove a vibro-cutter. The tress in front of the woman were not Roo-wood by any means, even so a mighty fine furniture could be created from it. Perhaps a serenity table or two. She’ll leave that choice up to Nono.

“Here,” she said while looking at Padawan Nono. “…Roo-wood would have been the optimal choice for the next task, but I think these three tress would suffice. ..Create something out of what the trees.” Lamb glanced back down at her chronometer. They still had plenty of time before dusk. ‘...We can acquire more tools if need, but I'll leave that up to you...Any questions,” as he added while holding out the vibro- cutter.

 

[Zen]

He looked at her and sighed. A Vidro Cutter? Really he was going to do this, he sighed and grabbed it before turning it on and then slowly placing it on the top of the tree. It seemed harder then it looked to be honest. AS he pushed down to cut it it required strength on his part to follow through, as that happened he would cut one piece in two.

[Padmé]

Lamb watched as Nono took the cutter and then proceeded to cut the tree. Something alluded to Alex’s seemingly begrudging nature. Halo of course remained silent. Nono will need to learn valuable skills the hard way. Time was on her side therefore she did not rush nor did she push the issue. It wouldn’t take long for Lamb to make arrangements for different set of tools, but the man will have to learn to ask.

 

[Zen]

Alex took the cutter and ran it down another lodge of the trunk of the tree’s side, slowly taken it down apart before slowly dropping towards the ground it was not easy fit to be doing, it took a lot of stamina, and he wasn’t super human or radically bulky to do stuff like this, he recalled on pure speed and dodging rather then power. Even though he did not know his own strength he did have a lot of power. He sighed and spoke.” When will the other tools come into place” He asked her slowly.

 

[Padmé]

As though on cue several packs of equipments arrived as soon as Alex mentioned ‘other tools.” Knight Lamb directed the droid to drop off the equipments by Padawan Nono. She will continue to observe Nono work on the trees. Expectation of his outcome filed her heart while she waited!

 

[Zen]

She didn't even acknowledge him. He shook his head and remained silent. He sighed and then slowly begun to take several tools, a measure device to measure the length and width of the tree, so he can have a visual of what he was going to make of the table. He took the cutter and then placed in in a vertical way. Before drilling four long poles, 24 by 2. Before sighing and placing them slowly on the floor.

 

[Padmé]

Upon setting the tools up for Nono, the droid left the scene- without a word. Lamb thought it was rather interesting as it was the same droid that spared Padawa Nono not too long ago.

“You’re doing good,” came Lamb’s encouraging remarks to Alex. He of course looked very much into the task at hand. Whatever the by products of the tress will become seems splendid! The blonde Knight could hardly wait to see the final results!

 

[Zen]

Now she chooses to acknowledge me, no not me. The thing I am making. He sighed and after eight long restless hours he finally finished."Table is Finished." He said slowly. Before slowly stand up and speaking."How did I do?" he asked her slowly.

 

[Padmé]

“Good,” came Lamb’s one word response. Turning to face Alex, she added “You did good, given your limited knowledge and tools in building such a furniture. I believe you have learned to adapt-“ she paused letting her words sink in. The man had a terrible habit of speaking out of frustration and anger. Lamb hoped the lesson had at least helped him channel the bad emotions to a fine work of art.

“I think someone could use the table you just made….Freshen up, get something to eat and return to the training room. I will await you for the next lesson.” Lamb would pause for a few moments and then leave shortly thereafter- heading to the training room.

 

[Zen]

Alex listened to the women and sighed. He seemed drained only slightly but the training took his toll on him. He was no God he had his limits, he was a human being. He was not a God that can beat everyone no matter how much he thought of it. He nodded and spoke."Thank you." He replied. To her allowing him to rest. He was surprised that she allowed him that. His built up emotions needed to go what better way to do it through deep mediation. He didn't like his emotions to be honest. Then again he was human and humans are sometimes bond to make mistakes, when she left. He had looked at what he made and used Telekinesis to move it with his mind and place it in the middle, before leaving, and having a cup of water and a loaf of bread. After that was done he made his way towards the training room.

 

[Padmé]

Not too long after Lmab entered the training room, Padawan Nono returned. By the looks of hi he seemed much rested and relaxed.

"Training to become a proper Jedi Knight requires more than wielding the blade, Padawan Nono." Uttered the female Jedi. She had a queer feeling the elder Padawan would find her next words simple and simplistic in nature. Nonetheless, it needed to be said thus Haloburner continued.

Turning to face the much older man she continued "...Padawan Nono, you have a rich and highly skilled background with the blade. I’ve seen you weild it. Even so a proper Jedi Knight training entails two other major goals. One, a proficiency in not just knowing the New Jedi Order code, but also a demonstration of the knowledge of the Code. Two, an understanding of the Force. Not just knowing about the Force, but also the ability to distinguish between the Light side and Dark side."

"Any questions before we move on," Lamb inquired before proceeding with her next agenda.

 

[Zen]

He looked at her. And replied."Hi." Before sighing slowly towards himself he did in fact feel more relaxed. He glared at her. Did she admit he was better in weilding a blade or lightsaber then most Padawans. It did not give him an ego boosts. Even if it should have he shook his head and replied."Practice makes perfection I believe. Both Figurative and Liritally." He told her slowly. He did not mean to be cocky, it just came out that way. He however did not intend it to be. But his voice sounded other wise. He looked at her and gave her a gentle smile. Before he spoke."So, Master. What exactly will I be doing today? Or have you already answered that by the statement you made." Again his voice seemed cocky, however he was also asking her a simple question. Being a Jedi Knight was not only just a simple striation of wielding a blade. No, it was not there were others things involved.

 

[Padmé]

Surprised, but not caught off guard by Padawan Nono's quick return, Lamb turned to the man.

"So, Master. What exactly will I be doing today?..." She heard.

Scanning her datapad, the female Knight would momentarily pause.

"Padawan Nono, your next step is a mission. As you know, being a Jedi Knght required not only prowess with the blade, but also proving your self through your actions. There are several missions that the NJO have lined up. In lieu of me selecting one for you, I will give that option to you.....Make your choice and let me know. I will give you the rest of the day to ponder about it....Until then you may be dismissed, unless you have other pertinent queries."

With that, Lamb would send the mission postings to the elder Padawan's electronic device. If no questions arise, Lamb would move on with her other duties.

Alex Nono spoke.” I would like for to Come on a mission with me. And do it with me, so I can have company and have a better experience. Also if you come with me can you chose the missions or mission for us, I don’t mind it can be any mission. I just want the two of us to do it please.” He asked her slowly. Make no mistake about he felt a sorta bond with his teacher, not a love bond but a teacher/student bond. And doing the Mission together will get them to be better and know each even better.
