The Training has begun(Closed)

[Zen]

As they walked he listened he couldn't believe that she did not still lose hope in him, after everything that happened. She still had faith in him. That actually brought an actually tear to his left eye, one that he got rid off fast before she can see. Or pity his caress. Maybe being in the Jedi Order was not a bad thing to be part of. He was there over years, but why did he doubt it. Maybe the feeling of not being accepted when he already was. Or maybe his past life, did not allow that to happen. Who would know right. He shook his head as they reached the Training ground, and she asked a simple question which he answered."A A Future Strict Jedi Knight, and a Future Jedi Master, and Future Jedi Council Member, and future Grandmaster. I want to all powers of the force. My main Strength is the Force, I really on it the most. While I am still very skilled in combat. I relay on the force to much. Which is why I wish to be a Healer, a powerful one. As well as train over one million padawans, and Be a great person. Sorry if this is asking to much. maybe I am getting a head of myself." He said calmly.

 

[Padmé]

Lamb was rather surprised by Nono’s response. Clearly the man had a big dream, one that Lamb herself was not certain she could ever surpass, not that she’d set her mind on it in the first place. As Nono finished sharing his goals of sorts, the female Knight did all she could not to sound discouraging.

“It appears you have a rather elaborate dream/goal, my Padawan. We all have dreams…” she paused, thinking of her next words. She needed gracious words like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body…

Now motioning for Alex to join her in the training room, Haloburner added “..you know, I can see you defiantly reaching the goal of future Grandmaster, however the latter goal- training over one million Padawans- is a bit much. Don’t you think? I’m not even certain that Master Yoda even came close to that goal.” Lamb’s words were more filled with curiosity than anything. She wanted to help the man, but first she need to make sure they were both on the same page.

While Padawan responded to the Jedi Knights inquiry, Lamb took it upon herself to call of a droid assistant. Her next objective warrants one- seeing as her last attempt to spar the man ended up- well bad, to put it mildly.

 

[Zen]

He looked at her as she spoke and raised his eye brows."Err, You doubt I shall I accomplish this dream? Then I shall prove to you that I will train over One Billion Padawans. I give you my word, Unless someone kills me. I will take My promise to you to my gave. And let it hunt me while I am dead." he said calmly."Just because you can't train or attempt to train one million padawans, don't you even dare attempt to crush other people's dreams." he said coldly yet still calmly.

He sighed and looked away before sighing again as a droid came."Is there any reaso- Of course there's a reason for a droid to be here. So why is it here?" he asked her slowly, wondering why a machine was doing here. Waiting for a reply back. To his answer.

 

[Padmé]

Lamb wondered if her Padawan was hard of hearing, as she never did make any disparaging comments to warrant his accusations. Upon taking a rather lengthy pause, the female Knight finally responded.

“I said no such thing, Padawan Nono. I’m just trying to examine your dreams through reality. ..I’m not even certain master Yoda trained a tenth of your said goals, but to each his own.”

With that Halo summoned two lightsabers to her hands, through the Force. She handed one to Alex and then the second to pair to the droid. Turning her gaze momentarily back on Padawna Nono, Lamb added

“the task here is simple. You will spar the droid, with the saber I just gave you, and with one hand only.. I’d recommend your dominant hand. You may not switch hands during the spar, and you may only use Force pull and push…”

With that said, Lamb moved out of the way, giving enough space for the pair to have at it.

“Ay questions?”

 

[Zen]

He shook his head and sighed before he looked at her and spoke."I have a lightsaber on my belt." he said slowly looking at her weirdly, as he caught the light in his hand before he sighed and spoke."Umm, both my hands are dominant, I don't have a weak hand." he said calmly, as he effortlessly used both his left and right hand, as they both displayed the same amount of skill. He looked at her and sighed."Sure why not, let's begin." He said calmly, using his right hand it didn't matter he can use his left hand if he wanted. heck they can test both his hands if she didn't believe him. And placed his other behind his waist."When do we begin." He said slowly.

 

[Padmé]

At the mention of his personal lightsaber, the female Knight immediately objected. “I know you do, even so, I want you to use the one I gave you.” Lamb’s words were not filled with malice, though she was a tad annoyed by Alex Nono’s apparent demeanor.

Still standing a distance off, Halo clarified her instruction once again. “Use your left hand then,” she paused taking in the rather laughable moment “…since I missed the fact that ambidexterity is your forte,” she finally added.

The droid meanwhile stood ready with lighsaber in hand. “At your service Nono,” chimed the droid in a muscular monotone.

 

[Zen]

He looked at her and sighed."You are just Aww. I can't read you properly your just to Unpredictable Master." he said calmly, he looked at her as she told him to switch hands and he did so without question, he took his left hand, tossed the lightsaber towards his left hand. Caught it by the handle, and placed his right hand behind his back."Ready when you are, Hell I'll use my feet." He said in a cocky yet calm manner. Although he never tried to use his fight as a weapon while holding a lightsaber, but he did use his feet in combat. He sighed and looked at the robot."Begin." He said slowly looking at him, as he active d the lightsaber. Waiting for him to make his move.

 

[Padmé]

A small smile graced the female Knights face while Alex alluded her seemingly unpredictability. That smile shortly therefore after faded as Lamb watched the droid quickly turn on its lighsaber, gave Nono a short bow, got into Jedi ready stance- dominant foot held back, with the blade in a vertical parry position on the dominant side).

“Ahh, my apologies Nono,” said the droid. “I failed to follow through with Knight Lamb’s instructions- one hand only,” the droid added while simultaneously switching

Without another word, the droid took a strong disarming slash aimed Nono’s weapon, as though in a direct attempt to rip out his blade out of his grasp and or destroy the blade. The move was akin to Form I/Shii-Cho.

Halo watched with eyes wide open waiting on Padawan Nono’s move…

 

[Zen]

He also bowed to the drove and looked at him. Before eh switched hands, honestly he cared less if he used both hands. He lunched an attack on him. He saw it already coming. But it was faster, then human speed. Which was bad for Alex. He side step and the Droid had hit nothing but the air. he then placed his Lightsaber at his neck lightly and spoke."Dead." He said slowly before back up and getting into a stance and spoke."Again." he said in a calm manner.

 

[Padmé]

Alex Nono dodged the droid’s Shii-Cho-esque attack. Instead of his blade knowcing Nono’s blade off his hand, it hit dead air. Even so the droid carried on with its next attack.

That attacke nearly did not come, as Alex has somehow managed to get close to its neck. As though he’d seen the neck attack coming, the droid ducked down as though on cue when Alex approached him. His words- ‘dead’ simply hit the dead air- just as the droid’s initial attack hit the air.

While Alec backed up and took a stance, the male droid took the open chance to plunge forward. With another powerful slash, the droid will aim at Padawan Nono’s left arm. The move appeared akin to a strong uppercut.

Mean while Knight Lamb watched with intensity. She was rather annoyed by Nono’s audible voice. He was after all supposed to be sparing.

 

[Zen]

He sighed and then when he backed up, the Droid lunched at him sighing with great speed he flipped over his attacker, and placed his lightsaber at his back, while the droid hit the air. The man was not being cocky he was being reasonable, The droid was a machine with no emotions, he was not living so he was predictable in Alex's Mind. He put the lightsaber down, and jumped back getting in a stance. It was seem that the Droid was aiming for power over speed, which Alex aimed for speed over power. Although both were even and at times Power beat strength, speed was always the best choice.

 

[Padmé]

It appeared the spar was on hold, therefore the female Knight took it upon herself to use that short window of opportunity to point out Nono’s errors. Haloburner watched as Alex jumped over the droid- rendering him a moment of escape from the droid’s attack.

With a slight cough, Lamb moved from behind the table, walking closer to the pair- but yet maintaining a healthy distance. “Alex it appears you’re allowing the sheer powerful strikes of your opponent to over take you. Like it or not the idea is not to dodge each attack, but rather counter- attack.” Lambs words came out in the most encouraging tone.

Now pausing to examine the droid, Lamb turned her gaze momentarily on her Padawan. “agility is one of your physical strengths- use it to meet the attack. Now let’s start again from the top.. Your left hand only against the opponent, Alex..”

Meanwhile, the droid quickly fell back in combat ready stance.

 

[Zen]

The woman was getting annoying. There was so much patience he had before he snapped. He shook his head and sighed and said nothing, but simply nodded. He looked at him, his left hand holding the lightsaber as he simply just looked around. Sighing slowly.

[Padmé]

It seemed Padawan Nono was getting quite frustrated- with exactly what remains to be seen. Lamb took a quick glance at the man again. In the process of doing so she caught a thought of his. She then proceeded to send the droid back.

“Okay Alex you want to tell me what it is that is annoying you? Clearly you are not particularly fond of the exercise at hand.” The droid turned its lightsaber off and then promptly exited the room. “Perhaps you have something you’d like to add to the today’s lesson, or even a question?” Lamb moved to sit on the table with legs crossed. “Do speak up, Alex. What is it? I can’t teach an unwilling soul. So do speak up”

 

[Zen]

He looked at her, not he was pissed the female had now stopped and interfered. he needed to calm down or he would snap. He closed his eyes and calmed, down he was feeling better." It's not that, I am just not learning anything from you, and I don't mean force powers, or techniques, I mean what I know I mean what you do it's like baby steps. Is there any way to bring me to the cubicle for a slight promotion or anything so I can teach Padawans, or there's no way?" he asked her slowly.

 

[Padmé]

The Jedi Knight remind seated on top of the table- with legs still crossed- completely un-fazed by Alex’s seemingly short temper. The man needed to learn something that took Lamb years to master- control his emotions.

With a calm, but slightly stern tone Halobuner responded “Padawan Nono, baby steps or not it takes patience to learn. You already have it made up in your mind that I’m being far too soft on you. I’ve only known you for what? Not even a month, but yet you think you have me figured out. I’ve given you simple instructions, and thus far you have failed each one. Not because you’re not capable of it, but because you put high premium in your past knowledge. You can’t seem to follow my ‘baby’ instructions, but yet think you are ready to train others?...”

“It took my master a long time before she even trusted me with a saber…It took my ten years to become a knight…But yet, here you stand high and mighty wanting that which most accomplish in ten years in mere months…” The Naboian Knight slightly shifted her body on the table.

Now looking straight inside Alex’s eyes- as though looking inside his soul- she added “..I’ll rephrase my initial question- what specifically do you wish to learn?”

 

[Zen]

He looked at her and shook her as she spoke about instantiation he cut her off."I followed your institution, you inferred in the sparing, you want us to spar correct left hand which I did? Your job was Observation, yet you're lack of Patience urged you to infer and stop the Droid, it would seem my speed overpowered his power blows, However my taunting is at flaunt as well." he said coldly yet calmly, she stood up and looked him in the eyes he sighed and spoke."I repeat my myself, nothing. What I wish to learn is something you can't never teach me. Proper Training, Guidance, Techniques, Force Powers, Wisdom, Knowledge, and how to be a better person then I am now." He said slowly.

 

[Padmé]

In her ten plus years in the Order she's learned one thing that takes most even longer- if ever- to learn. With a slight tap into the Force, the woman levitated off the table and into the air. Follow me my Padawan," she said without turning back to see if the man did her biding.

Still levitating in the air, the blonde Knight exited the room, then the training facility and then finally stopped when she arrived at the wooded/forest side area of the temple. She gracefully landed of her feet as though the ground was filed with soft feathers. "You don't want baby steps, eh?..." Looking around Lamb wished the Tythonian temple forest had twisted trees, akin to the ones found on Zaloriis. But alas, the ones currently growing in the lush Tythonia forest will have to suffice.

"...Using only the Force, uproot three trees of your choice. ..You have three minutes." Knight Halo uttered. She grabbed a small chronometer from her robe pocket, then proceeded to set the time.

 

[Zen]

He listened to her and followed. Lamb was still his master he had to follow her. Well he had a choice, faculty to not follow her, yet he choose to follow her. As they moved on his thoughts ran around his mind. I wonder what she has planned next. He thought slowly towards himself. Wondering as they moved. As they walked they entered the outside of the temple, into some wood place. He listened to what she was saying. Hmm, He had three minutes what kind of unfair bullcrap was that. There was no emotional on his face yet his thoughts begged a differ. He shook his head, and slowly begun to focus his energy around his hands and lift them up. As that was done he felt great stain, on what he attempted to lift. There was no Sussex, he failed to lift it. His Mind rushed as he was losing focus he was on the clock and he had two minutes left.

 

[Padmé]

No questions came, neither did he protest, which came as a surprise to the Jedi Knight. "About time," she thought as she fiddled with her chronometer.

Alex proceeded with the task at hand, at which point the woman started the three minutes time count down. She watched with batted breathe as Padawan stretched out his hands and did her biding. Merely one minute before his time was up, Lamb sensed a slight hesitation. Even so, she uttered not a word. Some things are taught and but some things are caught. Padawan Nono will need to learn, just as she did almost ten years ago.
