The Temple's Gone to Hell (Breknht de'Johgeldem Recruitment/Training Thread)

((Ah. I didn't know where they were thrown since it didn't say in the post, sorry. ^^))

Brenkht stopped the stone successfully this time, and actually held it in place in midair several feet off the ground. Licking his lips, he concentrated, using the Force to lift another stone at the same time, until the two were a couple inches apart, at almost the same height. When he focused on the last stone, though, the first stone dropped out of the air. When he tried to pick that one up again, the second stone dropped.
"Dammit," he said, perfectly audibly. He kept at it for another minute or so, getting more and more frustrated as he went. After the umpteenth time of holding two stones in the air with the third falling, he tried to expand his mind somewhat - instead of envisioning lifting one stone into the air, he simply imagined the Force lifting all three stones into the air until they were all at a specific height. This worked much better, and the stones were easily lifted.

Here comes the hard part, thought the Devaronian, cracking the knuckles of his thumbs agaiinst his thighs. He stared at his Master's stones and the pattern they were spinning in, memorizing it. Then he started to use the Force to push the stones in the certain directions, focusing on holding them up at the same time. For a second, they began to move sluggishly, but eventually they simply clustered together in a midair pile, rotating like a dish at a fine restaurant.

Niva sensed the shortcut he had used. When the rocks clustered she sent a rock whizzing toward his distracted head.

((I'm assuming its going to connect, but I can change it if you think your character would dodge this.))

"You do not cheat!" Niva scolded. "Its easy to lift them all as one, but easy will not keep you alive in the face of danger. You must lift them individually. Take as long as you need to, if you need me I'll be at my desk in the corner."

Niva turned and went to the corner. As she turned the rocks stayed in place despite the fact her hand was gone, the third rock even flew back rejoining the pattern.

As Niva ran her hand across a different wall this time, a desk emerged from the side. She pulled out a couple datachips and began to plug away at her datapad, her back to the padawan.

((Fyi he wasn't trying to cheat lol he was just trying to get em to spin and screwed up. I'll post for real in here tomorrow, just thought I'd check up before bed))

((I know, but she interprets it as cheating. Cause what you did was a large scale movement which is easier to do than multiple small scale movements. But because its harder to do, if you get good at it than you can be even stronger at the large scale stuff.))
