The following information is taken from the Rebel Mission Board:
The Richest Race In The Galaxy
Though podracing was long ago outlawed on Mon Gazza, it never really stopped. For centuries it continued in secret, on small, often one to one scales – a hobby for enthusiasts, and exotic gambling to the wealthy. It has since made a prominent return to form, an open secret on which the heads of local mafia lay millions of credit – a major risk that could see them rake in millions for their operations. This year, for the Mon Gazza Grand Finale, the pot is sweeter than ever, with the total ante on all sides coming to over 500 million credits. Money that we could put to far better use than the crime lords expecting to win it.
Pavelo Nisi is taking part in the Richest Race in the Galaxy Rebel mission. As explained above, there will be a major podrace taking place on Mon Grazza. The local mafia plans to make 500 million credits from bets placed on the race. The credits will be stored temporarily in an on-site vault. Pavelo's mission is to secure those credits for the Rebellion.
Pavelo plans to find a way into the race. Once entered, Pavelo will make a sizeable bet on himself. Because Pavelo is both human and new to the circuit, the odds will be stacked against him. Few others will bet on Pavelo to win. Pavelo hopes to win the race and collect a huge
pay-out from his bet. If Pavelo does not win, he does have a secret Plan B.
What I need is other people to race against Pavelo. These can be either PCs or NPCs. Anybody from any faction may sign-up. Even other Rebels, who we will assume were assigned to help Pavelo on his mission. Having someone NPC a few mafia members would be nice as well.
To sign up, please include the character's name. If you plan on racing a PC, include a link to the PC's profile. If you plan on playing a NPC, please include a small write-up of that character.
I think it would be cool if some people wanted to RP a rich criminal or buisnessman watching the race. If there is interest in a social thread of PCs viewing the race, we can make that happen.

-There is a vault containing 500 million credits on-site, the credits inside were gained from bets placed on the race, and those credits will also be used to pay the winners.
