Telly stood at the view screen longer than he normally would have as his collection of Resistance bombers, transports and fighters that could only generously be called a fleet made their approach.
He couldn't help himself. Yavin IV was a beautiful world, even from orbit, and one couldn't help but feel a certain sense of melancholy when looking at it from the vastness of space. That melancholy was only heightened by the fact that Telly has once called it home. The Jedi Drow Venn had helped evacuate a small settlement of Utapau after the whole world had been devastated by the AMS virus.
True, the lush jungle of Yavin would never replace the comforting sinkholes of his home world for Telly, the feeling of coming home was admittedly a welcome one. He'd spent the last years on the run from the Sith and the Empire - it would be a nice change of pace to actually have a base of operations.
And having been a former member of the Rebel Alliance, it was a base he was familiar with. The Jedi had had their run of it for a time and then the Sith. But now it was time for the Resistance to lay their claim upon the old Massassi temple once more. As his forces landed, Telly made sure to urge caution with his troops. His friends on Wetyin's Colony has told him rumors of still-active Imperial war droids within the temple and of a Sith who went mad in the jungle and still remained.
His forces were more than up to the task but, still, it never hurt to be careful. He sent out his LIN mine remover droids and a couple of squads of his own battle droids as a first wave to scout out the Temple before sending in his organic soldiers. All the while, his fighters and bombers flew ahead, keeping their eyes out for any threats on the ground.
OOC: Not sure what to flair this as since I don't think Yavin IV is currently occupied? And Telly's forces originated on Yavin anyways so it's not exactly a hostile invading force. If anything they're really just taking back the base.
