You seriously don't think there's such a thing as black on black racism? The late James Brown once said, "how can we go from black and proud to calling ourselves ******, hoes and bitches?" I once read an essay by someone named Ricky Coleman, who is black, who spoke of how he got into Phi Sigma Alpha at his college, said college being made up of 8.2% minorities. The minorities there see Phi Sigma Alpha as a whites-only club, so they're calling Coleman a "white black boy". Not only are they saying that Coleman is not a real black guy, but they are saying that they are not as good as him.

I once saw a TV show where a woman was saying that darker-skinned black people were so ugly and how she was blessed to be light-skinned. I thought what she was saying was disgusting. She's being racist against a member of her own race. It's just as racist as a white person saying "darker-skinned black people are UGLY!!!!LOLOLOL!!!!!!!"

How can blacks be treated as equal if they cannot stop being racist to themselves through the media and record companies? Reverand King urged everyone to love and to respect ourselves before we can expect others to respect us. Kanye West did a song called "Bush Doesn't Care About Black People" where he said, Now I a'int sayin he a gold digga, but he a'int messin with no broke ******. Now I a'int sayin he a gold digga, but he a'int messin with no broke ******. George Bush don't like black people. George Bush don't like black people. "Nigga" is a word from slavery and is a racial slur. If I call blacks that regularly, I am racist. If Kanye West, Ludacris, Immortal Technique, etc. call blacks that regularly, then they are racist, against their own people no less. But, what does the media do? They nominte rappers who say this shit for grammy awards, letting little kids know "its okay to be a racist asshole, just so long as you sing about it."

How is this living up to Doctor King's message? Honestly? He had a dream where his four little children would one day live in a nation where they would not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their characters. We have made great progress in getting rid of white-on-black racism, but black-on-black racism is becoming socially acceptable. This is a horrible practice and if it's not changed then it will diminish the dignity of future generations.

There's a very important reason why White on Black racism is watched more.


There are more powerful white people in the country than there are black. Compare the number of White billionaires, politicians, and business owners to the number of black billionaires, politicians, and business owners.


Also; Affirmative action isn't a "racist" concept. It's there to make sure the less fortunate minorities get the same shot as the Whites. In my opinion, it's rather fruitless as it's trying to patch up an already flawed system.

Yeah, Affirmative Action had good intentions but lost its way a looong time ago. A 4.0 Black student and a 4.0 white student apply to the same college and the Black guy gets accepted just because he's black...Not exactly equality there.
