The Sith temples on Korriban had long ago lost their power. Once, the dark side of the Force had thrummed within them like electricity through a power plant. Now, they were but cold stains on the surface of a dead planet. If he focused, plunged deep within himself, Kell could sense a faint echo of the power that once reigned here. But that's all it was—an echo. Intangible, immaterial, and ultimately useless to him.

The dark power within him was another story. When he touched it in moments of meditation, it stabbed like ice through his veins. Filled him up. Made him feel alive... and angry. Angry because he hated being stationed here, on this graveyard world, where nothing of import had happened for centuries and was like to happen for centuries more. Newbies to the Sith oft grew excited at the notion of being sent to Korriban. They dreamed of artifacts left unfound. Something left over from the ancient Sith Lords, offering them power unseen for generations.

But nothing of the sort existed.

Korriban was where grunts went to rot. That's what Kell was—what he felt like. A grunt. Nameless, meaningless. The Dark Lords of the Sith, the other wardens of the dark side, perused the galaxy in search of the power to bring the Sith Order back into glory. But he was to sit here, amidst the tombs, slowly collecting sand and dust in his hair until he too was like the bones interred in the tombs he guarded.

He regarded the monitor that gave him a view of the tomb complex. It was a crude set-up. Nothing like the security stations on a proper checkpoint. The images of outside were in greyscale and not very clear. Rely on your senses, his superiors had told him. You're a Sith. You have no need of state-of-the-art equipment. Hmph. A right lot of nexu shit, that. But there was no point in complaining. No one would care, least of all his superiors. And so he kept silent, bottling his rage. Waiting for an opportunity to unload.

Yellow eyes flicked across the monitor. The entrance, the grounds, the halls leading out of the antechambers. Nothing so far. Nothing yet. Granted, this tomb belonged to a lesser Sith. And who ever wanted to steal from lesser Sith? Still... There was something. A faint hum in the Force. A warning, perhaps? A premonition? Kell wasn't sure. But he was alert and ready, and practically daring the Force to give him something to do.

Someone to kill. @Feng Mian

Victor didn’t need a reason. Sense and explanations were overrated. He didn’t have to justify why he did what he did, and not when it was only his life on the line. Only his career, his adventure. Everything he did, Victor did for his own enjoyment. For the thrilling shot of adrenaline, that irresistible buzz he got whenever he did something so stupid and so wild no man would ever dare risk it.

But he was unlike any man. He was a pirate, outlaw—trailblazer.

What trail he was blazing today was being the first non-Force sensitive man to break into the Sith temples on Korriban, and to rob the tombs of a Sith. He might fetch a pretty penny for what he earned that trip, but credits or reputation meant nothing to him. In the end, it was the experience. Another check on the bucket list.

Victor stalked in the shadows. A phantom in the dark, he darted from one narrow corridor to the next, stepping carefully through thick webs, around cheap surveillance. For all the power and influence the Sith Order commanded, they had terrible security detail. It was no wonder a scavenger girl had managed to singlehandedly defeat the most feared man in the galaxy (if rumor was truth).

Of course, Victor had slipped up once or twice. He wanted to. He wanted someone to come out and try to stop him. He hadn’t fought a Sith before, and if he were robbing an ancient dark side tomb, why not give it a try? Two birds, one stone.

Kell saw the man's slip-ups and almost at once recognized them for what they were. It was easy. The would-be thief showed up on certain displays and completely avoided others. This suggested he was fully capable of avoiding all the displays but simply had chosen not to. He wanted to be seen. Wanted to be chased.

And he was in luck, because Kell wanted to chase him.

He marked the man's location and hit a series of commands on the security terminal. Somewhere in the tomb, a pair of Viper droids swished into action. They were old Imperial models, they certainly wouldn't kill anyone—but they had ample other uses. Distraction, location, and self-destruction among them. With the Vipers on the man's tail, Kell throttled into action.

He swung around to the security droid manning the station next to him. "We have an intruder," he said. "I'm going to pursue. Keep me apprised of his location and seal the main sarcophagus chamber. Let's see just how crafty our would-be thief is."

With that, he left the security station and made way for the sarcophagus chamber. He was counting on this thief's success, both against the droids and the blast door. This was the most action he'd seen since he had arrived on this useless rock.

And he was going to enjoy every last second of it. @Feng Mian
