Ebberla's strike was strong and forced Tris to back up to slow her closing advance towards him, yet Tri's Makashi low-guard had prepared him for the angle she chose to attack.

Tris checked a tight cross-block, stopping her diagonal strike before it could gain its swinging momentum and batting it off to the side and leaving a great deal of her torso exposed in this instant. In this instant, Tris swiped his saber shortly across her midsection and out before him. His saber would attempt to cut open a burn into her cloths across her abs and hold pointed straight out after he had done so. From this position, he'd be very capable of both further attack and defense.

His strike would cut before she would be able to bring her saber back for a block, though there were other ways of avoiding; but her charging advance would have been too much to pull off a major back-off of a dodge, especially since Tris had backed away from her initial strike. Tris' block and strike had been from within a short core of movement, while Ebberla's strike had been wide and kept to the outside of that core.

Ebberla felt something hot, and the distinct burning smell reached her nostrils. She stepped back and looked down at her shirt. "AH! Son of bit..." she looked at him with the narrowed eyes of a loathing stare. She took a few steps backwards, the Knight's feet scuffed the ground and found a small rock, she quickly searched for other voids in the Force, other little rocks and sent them shooting at Tris and charged again, her own blade slashing across his midsection.

The rocks shot up and at him. He could only dodge a few of them, as some others bombarded his body with little detriment; though enough, it seemed, to distract him for her strike.

Since Tris' saber was held out, he managed to catch her blade with a guiding block; the beams connecting near their center, though the tip of her's managing to cut through his clothing similarly. Stepping away, partly in avoiding her saber attack, Tris guided the beam of her blade away from his rotation in pivot as he leap out onto the pods. As he give his back to her, though not close enough for her blade to become a threat in hand, his own free hand prepare in secret.

Ebberla didn't chase after him, instead she leaped down onto the ground level, onto a giant mushroom head below Tris' pod. The Knight immersed herself in the Force and threw a powerful Force push at the edge of the pod hoping to send Tris off-balance.

The pod wabbled greatly and Tris lost complete balance, twisting around as he fell to a roll towards the opposing edge. As it tilted to allow his weight transfer, he rolled off the edge with a log-roll (body horizontal, arms bent wth elbows and forearms propped before his face, and lightsaber remaining ignited and completely safe out before his head) and let his feet lead down ahead of him as he fall. He aimed his attention directly at Ebberla, who was not directly underneath or next to him, and was on his guard as he land upon a mound just four feet lower than the mushroom shape she stood upon. He took up the attack, stepped forth, and dove a crossing stab at her feet.

Ebberla watched him roll off the pod, he landed on a mound lower than her and she waited for his attack. The Knight closed her eyes and released a Force Flash, illuminating the Hive. She took off from her location at Tris bringing her lightsaber down on him.

He swiped up at the Flash blindly, wincing at the dazzling effects. Instinctively, he reproduced the same effect. The air about his palm boomed with a Flash, illuminating the Hive seconds after Ebberla had done so. As well, in his crouch of a recoil, he ducked to roll down and off of the mound and find his feet to the ground. Squeezing his eyes shut and open, he blinked rapidly as he felt for his position. He cursed to himself, feeling betrayed by one of his own attacks used against him. He'd be underneath where she once stood now, re-adjusting his eyesight. He'd not be surprised like that again this night.

Ebberla hadn't felt it coming and she cursed herself as Tris illuminated the Hive. She automatically covered her face from the blinding light and crashed with a thud into the ground below where Tris once stood. She imagined it might have looked pretty humorous if someone were to walk in seeing two Jedi blinded and thrashing due to their own tricks. Ebberla realized she no longer held her blade. She didn't bother looking for it as she stood back up. She searched for more rocks and grabbed a handful. She knew Tris would recover his sight before her and she stood still and ready, listening.

Finally regaining some measure of sight, Tris realized Ebberla's close position and reacted. Using the Force as he closed the distance between them, Tris bent down the mushroom shape of a plant to shield him entirely as it made a sound right onto her and her left. Tris was right behind the shield of a plant and reached around a controlled cut of his lightsaber at her exposed right thigh.

Depeding if his strike burnt into flesh or not, Tris' left hand reached back behind him and gripped the edge of the fleshy mushroom plant and released his hold upon it in t Force. It would flop back like a rubbery wabble from his release and would pull him away and up safely as he use the control of the Force to guide a twisting swing around to step ontop of it. As it pulled him up ontop of it, he would be able to swing a tight cut into her back as he pass her (should she remain in the same position).

Listening and focusing her sight was aided by the Force, a burst of color aided with sound, it had to be Tris. She felt his presence, a surge of warning, and the Knight jumped back the blade just missing her leg. Ebberla kept moving, she vaulted on top of a mushroom and continued to the opposite end of the hive from Tris. She reached the wall's edge and pushed off the ground with jump aided by the Force, she climbed onto the walkway's ledge and climbed onto it. Her eye sight returned, not having to focus so much energy onto seeing.

The Knight pushed off the wall of the walkway, leaping over the ledge and grabbing hold of vine and begun to climb reaching a pod about the third level up. Leaping onto it, she went to the ledge to find Tris.

Tris ascended after her, along the oposite side of the Hive. Leaping up onto one ledge, then to a vine towards a pod, then to another pod, and finally towards an outer ledge of the Hive's lining wall. He looked up after landing and could see her looking out and for him.

Reaching up a free left hand, he retracted his lightsaber and tucked it into its clip along his belt with his right hand; then joined his right hand up with his left, already having a strong hold on the pod Ebberla stood upon. First he used the force to twist the pod into a spin, possibly disorienting the Jedi. Then he would lift that pod with a swing upwards and use the vine it dangled from to tie up Ebberla as it swing back down. If she had moved to another pod, he would try the same thing on that pod.

He would be far enough to react to an attack, a level apart. This was a good excercise. He was enjoying the skill of his oponent, and in such a fine environmental setting too.

Ebberla saw him put away his lightsaber, his positioning and the jerk of the pod in which she stood upon gave her a feeling of what was to come. It started spinning. Ebberla crouched down, gripping the ledge until she was in position. She used the Force of the spin to send her off into a bushel of vines. She swung herself to another vine, giving herself a clear view of Tris' spot. The knight gripped tightly to the vine, swung out her pistol and aimed it a Tris, firing her shots.

After Ebberla had lept from the pod, there was no need to flip the entire pod further. Having only begun to spin it, he released his hold and watched her swing. When she reached the vines, he already knew what to do. And when she reached for that pistol, he had already begun to use her surroundings against her.

As she attempted to pull out the pistol and aim, she would find her arm stuck and unable to lift completely to fire. A vine had wrapped around her wrist. Then, another vine swung around her torso. Further, Tris used the vine that she hung from to lift her completely as he begun wrapping her more into the vines. He stood there, working the bushel about her body in hopes of detaining her fully. As well, the vines had a strong hold on the pistol itself.

If he had succeeded, Tris would leap up to a pod hanging mid level in order to jump again and reach the lining edge that was level to Ebberla; and finally ignite his blue beam to point at her.

Ebberla gritted her teeth, the vines wrapping around her arm and wrist reaching for her pistol, another around her waist. She was completely detained in the bushel of vines. She let out a heavy sigh. Ebberla was now eye level with her opponent, the blue blade pointed at her.

She gave a sly grin, "Won't you be a dear and cut me out of here." she said pushing on his mind slightly as a tease.

Tris grinned like only a man could at a woman's words, still holding that blade out at her. He almost did it outright, but then thought to have some fun.

"And ruin these innocent plants? So beautiful and alive..."

Ebberla grinned, "Ah, well, aren't I bit more lovely than these plants? Won't you be a dear and help me out of here?" she asked again trying to persuade his mind.

The Knight begun seeping into his mind, "Cut me down.." she whispered quietly.

Tris didn't see the harm in it. He had considered himself the victor, and didn't think to wonder why he felt so confident in his victory. He lifted away some of the vines with one hand, loosening their hold; then slashed at them quickly to fully release her. Should she fall, he would catch her with that free arm; palm to wrist. Should she do something else, well... He was not so inclided to believe himself in danger.

"There you are mi-lady lovely..."

Ebberla watched him as he loosened the vines, her mind playing in his. She felt the pressure of the vines release, and caught his hand before she fell, pulling herself to him, she continued to whisper, "Ah, Tristian-Ambrose Dario Baptiste, Victor, warrior..." she begun pushing further, deeper, "Champion, valiant, a true Knight of the Order." Ebberla replied.

Tris' head was getting bigger, already quite full of himself. He quite enjoyed this. He pulled her up in a close and seductive manner, unaware to how he was being affected. Once he had pulled her up entirely and let her stand upon the level ground of the lining walkway, their noses almost touched; face to face. His arm, relaxed by now, had lowered to his side. The blue beam's humming sound was a calming buzz lost to his hearing now. All he could hear was Ebberla's voice. All he could do was look into her eyes.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk..." she continued to speak slowly and softly, her eyes locked on his, "You'll scare me off with this on..."

She reached down delicately and hit the switch, extinguishing his blue blade, moving his hand to his belt and clipping his lightsaber to it. "There...much better..." she lowered his hand back down to his side. She moved slowly, giving her and him some space before pulling out of his head.

"You are surely full of yourself." she grinned widely.
