*Within the slums of the Undercity of Taris, one man walked when all others were asleep. What brought him to this planet was a mystery. One probably could not tell, but very few called it the intuitive part of his mind to come here. Or more like what most called "The Force".

The tall figure radiated a long shadow within the small city lamps that were dimly lit through the streets. He wore a fitting robe and hood to cover himself from being seen from the "authorities" as the silhouette of a human crept slowly in the wake of the light. What he searched for was here, but what it was lie a mystery veiled within clouds of shadow.

Wind raging against his face, he kept moving forward, facing the force of nature head on. There was no fear within this man, but the will to go forward. Even as he walked against nature's fury, the man's senses were alert. He could hear a mouse creep through the streets, feel the sewer water rushing below him, yet all was enclosed in this space of darkness.*

A new hair cut, civilian clothes, and a small changes on the way he walked and moved, and barely anybody would recognize the once Grandmaster of the jedi order, not when he walked with an air of submission around him, and that his will was broken. Only somebody who was in his presence for several years would recognize him now, and even then the chances were slim.

Walking through the undercity, he headed to the meeting area for what Nexus described as "The control center for Taris." And where Xiantos was to deliver a chemical that will aid in brainwashing the inhabitants minds to the will of the Sith. Or If Xiantos had his way, a slightly different chemical.

Turning the corner to the alleyway where the criminals 'headquarters' were, Xiantos headed with intent on his mind, but not in his appearance.

*As he walked through the path, he saw another pass by. This other seemed familiar, yet so distant from Kyle's memory. But as soon as he looked back to see the passerby's face again, the person was gone. Kyle's heart told him to follow the man and track him down, yet the Force told him to stay on his path and keep walking forward.

The path he was on would leave him to the shambles of what used to be the dueling ring of Taris. When the Sith had taken over Taris, they had decimated the ring on their rampage of doom. It was also where most villians met to sell drugs and such. The Force had never led Kyle to a place of evil, yet something was drawing him there.*

Hayvan felt rather confident that day wandering into sith territory and even into very seedy places. Or at least they used to be. Now, it was far more barren than it used to be largely because of the sith. The sith tended to ruin everything. Even jedi who they would often ensnare.

As he was walking, he felt he saw a familiar face but he couldn't put a name on the face. He then began to follow the man to find out who it was because it did feel very familiar. In his slow pursuit, he saw Kyle also walking in the same direction. He had seen Kyle before and felt like saying hi.

"Hi." Hayvan said quietly to Kyle.

Xiantos ears pricked up when he heard the "Hi" from somewhere, not because there was a voice behind him, but because the voice sounded familiar. Pausing fora second at the door, as he slightly craned his neck , attempting to hear yet again that voice. However nothing came out from the darkness so Xiantos opened the door.

The Gently click behind him assured that he door was closed, now all the Sith deliver the Vial. Propping open the door that had light pouring through the crack, Xiantos walked into the room completely sure of himself and standing with his hands crossed in front of his chest, even in the face of the multitude of blasters now pointing towards him from across the room.

"Now Now Boys, you wouldn't kill the messenger would you?" Xiantos calmly said to the half dozen people.

Only one person responded to Xiantos, ad that man was obviously the leader of this rag-tag group that assured Nexus they would get the task done. "Lower your weapon Men, this man has the vial that Nexus sent us."

"I do have it" Xiantos said as the vial floated out of his pocket and into the air before the man that had spoken.

"Place that into the stations water supply, and you will receive payment for the deed."

Hayvan didn't hear anything from Kyle so he followed Xiantos for a bit. Once Xiantos closed the door, Hayvan got close to the door and listened.

Then he heard Xiantos speak. He was surpised to hear him doing something about a vial. Though he wasn't completely sure what was going on, he decided to wait outside the door till Xiantos came out and figure out what was going on.

*Kyle found the dueling ring of Taris, yet something drew him to another building. It was a familiar presence, yet distant. It felt like the person he had passed by only moments ago. However, there was a very dark aura around the area, as he used the Force to enhance his sight and hearing as he was possibly 15 feet away hidden within the shadows of another building and looked through a door crack. He did not see anything out of the ordinary, and it was a very limited view, but he heard something about payment, and decided to wait in the shadows for more information*

"Place that into the stations water supply, and you will receive payment for the deed."

With his force connection shut down the way it was, Xiantos could not sense the people outside of the door, as the limited awareness that he had with him hidden in the force was focused on the inhabitants of this room.

"Sorry, Cant do that. I want to be paid before I place the dial in the water stream." The man in charge said to Xiantos with the gun still pointed at the Sith's head.

Xiantos couldn't help but chuckle; "I am sorry as well, but you will be paid in one month time, exactly from the moment the vial lands in the water. Now you will do it, this is quite a substantial sum you are going to throw away."

Out of the corner of his eye he noticed that people were shifting nervously, wondering if what they were doing was wise considering that if they just dumped the vial they could live like kings.

"Actually, you don't get to make that decision anymore." AS he said that a small connection of the force opened up as a small force wall slammed into the leaders head, like a primitive slug impacting his skull. The strike caused his body to instantly collapse, and blood began too pour from the wound. He would still live if it was sealed soon, that is if the fellow mercs liked their leader enough to save him.

"Farewell Gentlemen, and enjoy your newfound fortune." Xiantos said with a slight nod as he turned around to open the door.

*Kyle sensed a sudden ripple in the Force, and it wasn't a very good one. It was one filled with a foreboding of evil, yet it was too coincidental that it happened at that moment where he heard a man thump on the door after a weird and disturbing conversation. Still concealed in the shadows, Kyle was covered in the darkness as he waited for more to happen.*

ooc: it's a short post, but I have to go.

As soon as the door opened he was back to the old hunched over posture that gave him the look like the entire galaxy was out to get him, and do him in. And it probably was. As he opened the door that led to the alleyway, Xiantos felt the tiny hairs on the back of his neck stand up. It was not the force that alerted him, as he was once again hidden in it, but his natural perception that somebody, or something was nearby. Glancing around slightly, his eyes passed over the spot where Kyle was standing, and continued on around. He knew somebody was there, but without using the Force they were going to be difficult to spot.

Deciding that if somebody wanted to do something, it would happen, he continued on out of the alleyway and into the undercity of Taris, heading back to the spaceport.

*Kyle knew he had been caught, yet this person did not want to draw him out so suddenly. There was more to this. This person looked oddly familiar, but different as well. He couldn't say where he had seen this person before, but there was this odd familiarity in the air. As the person left the alleyway into the streets, that was when Kyle decided to make his move.

He stepped out of the shadows and followed him into the streets before announcing his presence.*

"What did you do in there?"

Xiantos stopped abruptly as the man called out the question. "Me, good sir?" Xiantos replied in a feeble voice, still hunched over as he turned around to look at the man. Blast, Xiantos knew him, it was Kyle Stellar, a former Jedi that he had worked with and commanded as a Jedi. He would surely recognize his face, even with the modifications and slight alterations he had made.

"Whatever do you mean?"

Hayvan was still sitting back not very visible to see how the meeting of Kyle and Xiantos went. Though he didn't fully know who it was, Hayvan now strongly guessed that it was Xiantos and wondered what had happened to him. He would come out later when it was more fully revealed that the stranger was Xiantos.

"I saw you walk in and walk out. I know that place. You were up to no---"

*Kyle's hooded face was shown through the light as he looked at the man. The man's face was altered slightly, as well as his voice. Even the way this man walked had changed, but Kyle could see through this disguise. It was Xiantos Zosimus, former grandmaster of the Jedi. But this did not bode well. He could not feel Xiantos's Force Presence well, nor did the man look very well either.*

"Why are you here?!"

Xiantos dropped all aspects of his fake facade as Kyle recognized exactly who he was. His face seemed to reform into a cleaner, healthier version of himself, and he stood straight once again.

A humorous smile broke out on his face as he spoke to a man he used to fight besides; "I am here on personal business Kyle, and that business is something that I do not wish to discuss."

"What the more important question on the other hand is what you are doing here. This is a Sith controlled world Jedi, what brings you here?" Xiantos said, pointing towards Kyle on the word "you."

*Kyle was ataken back. Xiantos was not speaking calmly and collected anymore. There was anger in his voice...mixed with a curiousity that could not be place in Xiantos's nature before. This was mos odd...and the business he had wasn't exactly looking so good either. The worst part was that Xiantos was hidden within the Force, so he couldn't tell what in the hell was Xiantos's aura was.*

"I could say the same for you Xiantos. What is a Jedi like yourself doing on a Sith controlled world?"

*Kyle easily would avoid these types of questions. Xiantos had powerful strength with the Force, but what Kyle knew was that Xiantos wasn't the same anymore. The fake facade was immediately noticed as a way to hide his appearance which meant he was hidding something. Kyle was already ready to spring into action if it was truly needed. He only hoped it wasn't going to end like that*

He was actually taken aback by that question... shouldn't everybody know that by now, he was a Sith, that by now he was Nexus' second in command? Apparently the word had not got out, either Brooks was doing her best to keep it hush, hush; or Jonas had not told the Jedi about his betrayal. That doesn't matter anymore though.

"I would have assumed you had known this by now Kyle; I am no longer a Jedi." He paused to let that small sentence sink into his mind before continuing. "Nexus himself ask me for advice about his next moves, I am a Sith"

The smile on his face could be said to be a slightly insane smile, however thats no matter.

*Kyle's eyes widened briefly and then turned to cold ice. So, the dark foreboding of the Force was not just a warning, but a beacon. It was Xiantos that led him here. This wasn't going to get any better. He really didn't want to believe it, but Xiantos had become a Sith. Why, he did not know, but now, as a Jedi, he had the obligation to take Xiantos down.*

"What changed your mind?"

*Kyle noticed the smile, and smiled back coldly. It seemed that Xiantos had already started to play the taunting game, and Kyle had to play along. Who knew how long Kyle could keep Xiantos at bay before trying to escape his power?*

"Changed my mind?" Nobody had asked this of him recently, and the only time he had concretely told his story was when Nexus first accepted him into the order. "You were there when I fought Sen Helto, and you were there when we killed him. We destroyed the spirit of a Sith monster, but at the cost of one of the greatest jedi master's of our time. Was that truly worth it?"

"That event caused me to leave the order, and I fled into the unknown regions, thinking; There must be a better way to live, there must be a better way to reign supreme! And I've found it in the Sith." Xiantos' voice started off neutral, unemotional like he usually speaks, however towards the end he started to pick up some steam, shouting with the enthusiasm and strength that had been bestowed upon him by the sith.

"Now if you will excuse me Kyle, I need to go back to dominating the Galaxy."

The presence that Xiantos sensed may have been one of the "mercs" named Hattie. Again, she was sent undercover, this time to check out Taris, as the Republic is interested in seeing how pro-Sith (or pro-Republic) the planet is. On top of that, Hattie has more street-smarts in the ways of urban criminal undergrounds than most others, and so she was chosen for the solo mission.

Hattie is a corporal ranked Republic soldier, being more experienced in combat than the other mercenaries that met with Xiantos. She was shocked, genuinely when Xiantos smited the mercenary leader with the Force. Although the corporal is not aware that Xiantos is the former grandmaster of the Jedi Order, it is quite easy to conclude that this guy is a Sith, maybe even a Sith Lord. The corporal does not have a rifle, as it is illegal on the pain of death to be openly carrying weapons that could be used against Sith security forces. Instead, she has concealable, repeating pistols. Illegal weapons, but possessing weapons at all is illegal.

She spotted Xiantos and Kyle conversing, and walked over to a nearby crowd of people preaching the support of the Sith Empire's conquest of the Galactic Republic. The corporal stayed as close as she could without gaining suspicion to eavesdrop on the scene. Hidden underneath her leather jacket was a loose casual red shirt. Underneath that are her concealed pistols. If things get ugly for her... Things WON'T get ugly for her, as she would be killed on the spot by the Sith persona close by.
