Approved with conditions:

1) Character Names in the roster must be the actual name of the character. Aliases are fine to have there, as long as the character name is present too.
2) Only Andromeda and Tyler Prospero are approved for dual affiliation. Any Indie character joining, not already part of the DarkNet, will have to change their affiliation to DarkNet. The PCs that are officially part of the Jedi and the Sith not named previously must chose with which Faction they want to serve.
3) A shape-shifting starship must have a technical profile written up (or linked to me if it's a preexisting thing I'm unaware of) and submitted to the tech boards for approval before you can use it or mention it in RP.

My character was approved by Lavi before he resigned as admin for dual faction members. Furthermore, Loc is fine with it. Am I still allowes to have dual faction membershup?

I wasn't aware of that. If Lavi approved a dual member situation that's fine. Just link me the post or forward me the PM!

To think, I'm now doing some technical know-how instead of Seamus!

I believe I updated the link, must have poorly copied it. My bad, let me know.

Resubmit it, since I'm not sure how or if the Mandalorians are still able to mass produce ships.

Updated the roster now, with the full names minus Lexi, Molok, Suun and Xi. (Suun and Xi are yet to be decided between Jedi & DarkNet)

Cool, we're so close now! nwn Just the ship left?

The images in the first post make it a bit hard to read on my laptop screen btw, since the post becomes super wide.

You would have to ask Sierren/Astra since it's her ship :)

I believe the first two social threads are up already, so it shouldn't be long until we're all chilling :)

It'll be interesting to see what happens, considering Andromeda is Sith and Veran isn't so find of Sith....

P.S.: to those of you who think I've already left for Army training, it's true that I'm on my way out! (I was just lucky enough to get the chance to post this via my phone. Haha)

Let's keep it professional! (But interesting of course...)

Anyways - best of luck to you Noctyr. We'll be here when you get back... if we're not, we simply just suck and should probably not show our faces around the boards. XD

Hey guys, I'm afraid I'm going to drop out of this faction. Andro being a Sith and in this just isn't practical or wise. Like, she's in the social thread with Aura, who she was fighting on Naboo only a few threads ago >.> It's also diverting from the path I originally wanted to take her, which was that of a Sith Warrior.

That said, if anyone has a char who doesn't have issues with Sith, I'd still be up for a thread!

I thought your character was fun to roleplay with, and I haven't even read her reaction yet :(

Well, its bound to happen sooner or later where one would cross a person who they're not particular fond of; what makes it more thrilling is trying to get through the absolute hatred.
The goal at that point of running into people you were just fighting with for example is to put it aside and make it work. Also, that's part of the double-agent role. If I were a double agent Sith for example I wouldn't hesitate to fight a full fledged Jedi out in the public field and they would likely return that. The kicker is then, when they retreat they can work together. Double-Agents have a time when they need to do things they're not happy about such as beating their secret ally into submission but the two have a silent understanding of what must be done - as the other would do the same.

Sith and Imperials are generally hated across the galaxy - actually specifically Sith because the way people view Sith is blood thirsty tyrants; but that's because of the outward appearance. Fact is, there are even Sith who are not pure bloodlust and hatred even tough that is used to fuel their understanding of the Force. Just to take a quick snippet:
Marf said:
she just despised the monsters who enforced it and the horrific Empress who commanded them.

The above is reason enough to act as a double agent. The Sith want to drive their position forward and elevate their status and a certain desperation could be applied to one's allies; just because you are one of them doesn't mean you have to be them, for example. You told me that she was a moody kid who just wants to find her comfortable or 'peaceful' place in the galaxy and get that nice jaw. *Smiles* These still can apply to this vs. Sith.

True, the Sith Warriors are not one for manipulation or cunning and are mainly just the long arm of the Sith and generally focus on combat over planning. So, technically the Warrior might not be looking to build a power base to overthrow the above and elevate their status, most often they'll just flat out kill the above. But still, an organization could in fact benefit the Sith by allowing them access to information they can use to overthrow their adversaries for example. Or make a difference in the organization from within and in the shadows. It's still very possible to be associated with further gain.

While I cannot dissuade you from your position - I still wanted to give a proper response. If you really wanted to keep her in there a possibility that you could operate from the shadows and not directly with certain people; that is the allure of code names (which are extremely common to Slicers for example. A code name also allows to live two lives).

Andro is your character and I'm not going to urge you to do something that you really don't think she should do; I humbly respect your decision and will bid you a heartfelt goodbye. I appreciate your interest and I'm sadden you've come to this decision - but also delighted as you arrived at the decision now instead of later after being intertwined and end up regretting your decision to join.

If you want you can also come back as Andromeda or anyone else or a new creation; but you don't need to.
