The first thing that hit her as she stepped off the public transport that had brought her here to Umbara was the darkness. Hardly surprising; for a planet to not actually have the rays of sun ever visible, she imagined that it was the first thing that came to everyone's attention the first time they came to this planet. Looking around, she could see artificial lighting set up in the city, and even though there was cloud cover and no sun there was at least a general 'lightness' since it was technically the middle of the day. For such a gloomy world, it was honestly not surprising that the Sith had once opened an academy on this world. Come to think of it, she didn't even know if it was still operational. She assumed not, but that was only because she had never been there and had never heard anyone else talking about it. It could easily still be the site of some more secretive training, though that would make her current mission kind of an odd one. She had been sent to retrieve something from a specific tomb, and in normal Sith fashion she hadn't been told what she was looking for, or where the tomb was. They had told her she'd know what she was after when she saw it, if it was even there in the first place. This was only one of many possible locations it could be, it seemed, though she also hadn't been told where the other locations might be.

The first part of her mission involved tracking down someone who could take her to the tomb in question, or at least to the correct general location. As far as she knew, the tomb hadn't been opened since the Sith who presently 'occupied' it had died. Kholaim was the name she had been given, and that coupled with the fact that he had been a Crusder at the time of his death and the knowledge he had been buried on Umbara were all she had to go on. It had proven to be a fairly unique name, enough so that she had already made contact with someone willing to sell her the location of the tomb before she had even landed on the planet. It was starting to look more and more like this would be an easy mission; go in, get the thing, leave with the thing. She liked easy missions, because she found it much easier to lie and say it had been difficult and she had overcome all kinds of trials than to actually have difficulty and have to overcome all kinds of trials. It was a cheat for sure, but that tended to be the Sith way of things. Besides, she had decided it counted as being 'prudent', and that made it okay in her mind.

Her lightsaber was worn openly on her hip, and between that and her outfit it was clear that she wasn't trying to hide what she was today. She was a Sith inside Imperial space; the common folk would fear her and it gave her a very strong bargaining position when she met her contact here. She had of course not mentioned that she was a sith when she had sent the letter requesting a meet up so that she could buy the location of the tomb. Now when she showed up looking dark and ready to fight, as well as having her lightsaber so clearly displayed - well, the plan was for them to be intimidated in to dropping the price. She was pretty sure she could act scary when she needed to, even if she really wasn't all that scary when it came to comparing her to other Sith. To those who didn't have the Force or extensive combat training, at least, she could be scary.

Her steps took her through the streets in an unhurried fashion; she had left herself enough time to get to the appointed meeting spot fifteen minutes before their assigned appointment, because she intended to be sitting down at a table before her contact arrived. She was a bit upset that she hadn't been able to get any information on her contact, so it would be a bit of a surprise who showed up, but being confident was also part of being a Sith so she wasn't about to back down. Finally her sure steps took her to the meeting place they had agreed upon: The Prancing Parsec was a two story middle of the road restaurant, so at the least it didn't cater to the ruffian crowd that would have surrounded them in a Cantina. She moved in to the building and sequestered a booth upstairs on the patio; she had made a reservation before she had realized that a patio wasn't going to be very pleasant on a planet like this. The Umbarans were used to it enough that they could enjoy the patio, but she was dreading it. Stepping out on to the patio after moving through the restaurant, her eyes would scan around and see that it was mostly empty at this time of the day before she moved to a small table, with a chair set on either side of it. She sat smoothly and looked out over the view offered to her of the city and the dull sky, and she started to wait.

It had been a long trip from Pantora to Umbara but the time wasn't spent wastefully. Jade had made sure to meditate on the Force for guidance, a few weeks prior she had been on Endor attending an informal gathering of the Order. While it hadn't gone to plan and she had sustained numerous injuries but her fellow healers had been diligent and made sure she recovered. Afterwards though Jade found herself knighted in recognition of her actions during the chaos at the gathering. She had been honored of course but troubled, the obvious instability of the Order worried her and once she had recovered Jade made her way to her homeworld of Pantora and meditated on the state of things.

There was no doubt in her mind that many of the Order would be doing similar things wherever they were but Jade had gone for another reason as well. Her ancestors had called her home and so she had answered them in turn. Once inside her family tomb, Jade had sat and meditated for a few hours before being shown a vision of a powerful Umbaran sith who had once ruled over a long since abandoned sith academy. Jade bore witness to the duel between this powerful sith and one of her many ancestors. While it pained her greatly to see a fellow Evoyn fall to the blade of a sith, there was no changing the past. Somehow Jade knew that locating the remains of her ancestor would bring the fellow Jedi to rest amongst his kin should she return them to their mutual ancestral tomb.

This is why Jade Evoyn had come to Umbara, she was seeking the remains of not only an ancestor but a fellow Jedi Knight. If she could find the Tomb of Nihilistia, then she would most likely find what she was looking for. WHile her ancestor's remains were more then likely destroyed, she was certain that Darth Nilhilista would have taken his lightsaber or his skull as a trophy. The Force was calling her to the abandoned sith academy so she knew she'd find what she sought. The Ghost Nebula was known for it's interesting and collectable trinkets. Many things here were strange and foreign to species outside the nebula. Jade had to admit that she was also drawn to the unique objects around her.

The only thing that really set her apart from these tourists is the item in question. It was one thing to seek out rare jewelry for lovers, or toys for children, but Jade was seeking something far more valuable. At some point though she would have to find a guide. Although the Force would guide her, someone who knew the terrain would be more then helpful along the trip, not to mention she had no idea where the exact location of the academy was but she let the Force guide her. For some odd reason Jade found herself drawn to a restaurant of all places, but who was she to judge the will of the Force?

After being seated at a booth on the first floor, Jade waited patiently to order some food. Despite her desire to complete her mission, her stomach demanded to be sated and Jade had no problem with filling up before heading out to go grave robbing. However this planet was in Imperium space so Jade opened up herself to the Force and heightened her senses just in case she was being watched or followed. While she didn't feel any eyes on her other than a small child a few booths down who was staring at her intently. Jade smiled to the young boy, he was Umbaran and it was quite possible he'd never seen someone like her before, no need to scare little children who were just curious.

Since she was blind and therefore could read the menu handed to her, Jade simply sat there and made silly faces at the young boy causing him to fall over laughing and return similarly goofy expressions. His mother turned around to look at her once but didn't seem to mind. It would seem that in a galaxy full of thieves and thugs, one strange tourist playing a silly little game with a child wasn't too worrisome.

Jurid was a cautious man by nature. It made others see him as weak or think he was afraid of everything, but it had also kept him alive and profitable here on Umbara. His job wasn't really one that most other Umbarans agreed with, selling information to outsiders about their planet, and he had received death threats in the past. It was enough to make anyone nervous and jittery, even paranoid. Caution was the name of the game, but he still had to do business out in public. He had an office, but sometimes the people he was selling information to preferred to meet in a neutral location. This was one of those times, and though it irked him he was a professional who wasn't about to turn his back on some easy coin. The tomb in question wasn't even an important one, but the greater crpyt it was a part of was another story entirely, so he was able to acquire a fairly detailed map of not only the crypt's location, but also the general layout of the inside. Of course, whomever his buyer is was in for a rough time of it, since the crypt was also the home of a powerful Darth, and was likely full of all kinds of traps for the to fall in to. He was getting paid before whomever it was went in to the ruins and wouldn't be leaving the city, so their fate was of no concern to him.

Walking through the city with a scroll tube clasped to his back and a hand on his blaster pistol, he was certainly some kind of sight to see. Constantly looking back over his shoulder as he was want to do, he was pretty sure that he wasn't being followed when he finally made it to the restaurant. He stepped inside, and as he came to a stop and took a quick look around - well, he probably seemed fairly suspicious. The meeting was set for upstairs, and soon enough he turned and made his way upstairs. He was not expecting to meet a Sith sitting out on the patio waiting for him and it gave him pause, his eyes going wide at her attire and the lightsaber. Only a Sith would wear one openly in a place like this, and it was almost enough for him to turn and walk away as soon as he saw her. Unfortunately she seemed to sense him and turned towards him, her hand beckoning him to the table.

With a sigh he approached, his hand still near to his blaster pistol while the other placed the scroll tube on to the table. A short bout of haggling ensued, which left a sour taste in his mouth as ended up getting less than half of their agreed upon price. Arguing with a Sith was a good way to get yourself hurt or killed, or at least that was what all the stories said. Clutching his small stack of credits and with a rather sour look on his face he turned and left, mumbling something dark about Sith and hoping she died in that tomb on the way out - though he was sure to do that only when he was downstairs, and entirely out of earshot of the Sith. She had looked young, but he was a man who wasn't known for taking chances.

For her part, Lairiel had thought the meeting had gone quite well. She had noticed quickly that he was afraid of her and then used that to her full advantage, even unclipping her lightsaber from her belt at one point and placing it on the table, as some extra emphasis that he didn't want to keep trying to haggle her price up. In her mind, he was lucky to have walked away with anything, but she wasn't sure that she wouldn't need him in the future and this way there was at least the possibility of future dealings. A soft chuckle left her lips as he walked away and she waved the waiter over, placing a quick order for food. She might as well eat before setting out on this venture, because she wasn't yet sure how long it would be. Her hands gently opened the scroll case, and inside she found what she was looking for - at least, sort of. It was actually a drawn out map, as if he had just made a copy from a datapad, but she supposed it would have to do.

Spreading it out on the table she quickly found that it was more than detailed enough to be worth the credits she had paid. It was likely worth the full price she had offered in the first place as well, but that was neither here nor there. Her eyes shifted over the map, noting that on the left it showed her how to get there, and on the right it even had the general overlay of the tomb itself. With this, it shouldn't be too difficult, the task that had been laid out for her. She could complete it and then return with confidence, which pleased her. A dark smile played over her lips as she rolled the map back up and set it back in to the scroll tube that it had come in, setting it to the side of the table to lean against it lightly. She sat back then, once again looking out over the 'view' that was offered. Suddenly it didn't seem so bad to her; the mission was already accomplished in her mind, so what could really dampen her spirits now?

Once the waiter arrived, Jade ordered a green tea and a small salad before asking the waiter about the wine selection. "Good evening madame, we currently have three different wines in stock, all of which are local favorites and grown on Umbara for the finest of quality." He spoke with well trained manners and an obvious pride in his work, something rarely found in those who worked in such a field. "I personally recommend a bottle of the Ambre Foncé although a nice Vinombre pairs well with the local fruits and has a nice Bois de pierre flavor to it, a local wood used to age the wine. If you would like I can get you samples." The waiter was an attractive enough young man and the sounds of these foreign wines caused the Jedi's mouth to water.

Smiling up in the young Umbaran's direction, Jade made sure not to make eye contact. If these people truly thought she was blind then she would be less likely to draw suspicion. "I'll take a bottle of the Vinombre then sir, and if it's not to much trouble would you mind telling me if their are any teas that might pair well with the wine, I'd also like a fruit salad. Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience but I can't read the menu." Jade said, with a subtle wave at her empty eyes, an apologetic smile on her pale blue face.

With an expression of embarrassment, the Umbaran waiter took the menu and looked it over. "Oh perdóname Mademoiselle of course, I would be happy to do so." After a few moments going over the various teas and salads, he began to list a few off. "We have Rose feuilles tea, a strong floral flavor brewed from the local Shindebara roses, nicknamed 'dead roses' due to their ability to grow in the dark, it can also come with some cranberry juice if you like to offset the floral tastes and give it a more fruity flavor to pair better with the wine." He paused a moment as Jade offered him a smile and a wink as she pointed to his small order sheet, to which she could feel his emotions spike in the Force, suggesting he was aware of her flirtatious meaning. Once he had added the tea to the order he continued on, taking a slightly more obvious look at the silver silk robed Pantoran.

With a smile, Jade leaned into the table, causing her breasts to become more prominent and crossing her legs to show off more skin as her thin robes fell open. "We have a tart fruit salade that boasts both Borgoña Kiwis and Jogan fruit, would that serve to satisfaire you madame, or will you be requiring some other form of service this evening?" Casting him another flirtatious smile as she brushed her dreads over her shoulder, it was obvious to anyone who was watching that the two young adults were flirting with each other, not that anyone would really mind other than the manager, but then again he was helping a customer who was blind order her meal so no one could really yell at him for that.

Jade's eyes never actually looked the waiter in the face, but since she was blind he didn't seem to mind. The child from earlier was once again watching the beautiful tourist but his mother pulled him back down to sit in the booth. "That all sounds perfect, but if you wouldn't mind I'd like to know your name, I can't read your tag after all." Jade said with a giggle as she pointed to his chest. He looked down as if to read his own name before telling her his name a little less confidently then he had spoken before. "Well then Cyss, you go place my order and I'll be right back after I get back from the refresher, I want to fix my hair for you so the next time you come to service me it'll be perfect." In all honesty she was looking forward to the meal more so then getting to speak with him again, but kindness had it's many forms and if boosting this young Umbaran's day by flirting was how she was going to do it then she would do so, not to mention flirting tended to be rather enjoyable as well.

Jade may have been blind and could only see with the aid of the Force but she could have swore she saw the boy blush as he went off to order her food. Sliding out of the booth to go use the refresher just as she had said, she took her sabercane and used it just as a truly blind person would have. No one seemed to bother her as she walked across the restaurant's first floor. Making sure to almost walk into chairs and other people as she wandered the restaurant, people moved out of her way and apologized to her when she accidently studded them with her cane. A waitress actually came up to her and after she passed the ladies refresher to show her the right way. Just as she was about to pass a set of stairs, another Umbaran came up behind her and accidently walked right into her. He had been looking behind his shoulder and seemed ready to yell at her when he noticed her cane and eye and just decided to apologize. Jade noticed something on the floor that he seemed to have dropped and picked it up. "Sir, I heard you drop this." He turned, a few steps up the stairs already and took the tub offering his thanks.

With a flush, Jade left the refresher stall and walked up to the sink, placing her sabercane against it's metal siding. Once she washed her hands she grabbed her sabercane and left the room to return to her table. As she made her way down the line of tables and booths, she overhear the same Umbaran from before say something about a sith. Without turning, she waved her left hand behind her to cause the man in question to trip into her. As both of them fell to the floor, she dropped her sabercane and gasped as if caught off by surprise. She had skinned her knee and her robe was skewed slightly out of place showing off her light gray bra underneath. The Umbaran reach up to help her up just as Jade made to cover herself. She knew all eyes in the room where on her and she once again reached out with the Force and caused the man's hand to slip, disguising the movement to make it look like she was begging the man not to touch her.

He was apologizing profusely as his hand was force of course right into Jade's bra. Her face went violet and she reached for her sabercane. He ripped his hand out of her bra as she forced tears to fall from her eyes which caused the bra to come undone. With one of her breasts laid bare for all to see, Jade found her cane and whacked the man over the side of his head just as the one of the other patrons, a tall muscular Umbara, pulled her assailant off of her and Cyss ran up to her. Pulling her robes together, Jade allowed herself to lean into Cyss as she pretended to shake. It didn't matter who the man was, he went up with an item and came back down with a rather large Credit pouch while cursing a sith, whoever he was he was a criminal of some sort.

Cyss reassured her as he led her back to her table, someone seemed to have called a few members of the Umbaran militia to arrest Jade's assaulter, one of which recognized him as a wanted criminal before hauling him away. Cyss sat with her even though her meal had already been delivered to her table. The restaurant manager came over to see if she was alright and offered her meal to be free. "That won't be necessary, I'm just a little shaken is all but if it's not to much to ask I would like to pay for the bill of the kind man who rescued me." Reaching down into her robes, Jade pulled a few hundred credits out of the pouch she had stolen from the man she had tripped. No one had noticed as she had done so due to the diversion and Jade planned on waiting to see if she could locate this sith in the meantime as she ate.

Cyss left her to attend to his work but a couple people did come over to make sure she was alright. Jade was of course, it had all been a performance on her part, one that would either draw out her real target or at least cause them to overlook her for who she really was. Jade was a Jedi knight and she intended to find out whatever it was that that man had sold to this sith, who knew, perhaps the sith could lead her to the temple and the tombs that she sought. If for nothing else Jade had put a criminal behind bars and would potentially be removing a sith from the galaxy. It's not like the Sith Order would mind really, in thier eyes a sith that fell to a Jedi was just weak. The meal was rather delicious though, she had to admit.

She was starting to get annoyed. She had put in her order for some kind of local vegetation that the Umbarans called a 'salad' a while ago, and then she hadn't seen the waiter again. How long did it take to make a salad? Less time than it had, she was pretty sure! She let out a hmph and pulled her map out again; she might as well use the time productively. First she mapped out her route she would take to get to the tomb, the view she had on this patio helped with that as it happened to pointed towards the right direction. This let her see the start of the route she would take at least, and she could then translate it to the map. She estimated it would take about two hours of hiking to make it to the entrance to the tomb, and that was when it would get hard. Of course, she wasn't really sure what to expect in the jungle that was between where they were now and the entrance, as there was nothing about it besides the word 'jungle' written on the map. Perhaps she should have also purchased a book on the local vegetation and wildlife, but it was too late for that now. She could handle whatever this world could throw at her, she believed.

She looked towards the next part of the map, the inside of the tomb. This was where it would get interesting. Sith tombs usually weren't things you just wanted to walk through nonchalantly. There could be traps, or even some kind of cult that had taken up residence. Even ghosts, depending on who had been buried there and how powerful they were in life. She had never heard of the guy whose tomb she was after, though, so she wasn't really expecting any of those. Apparently he had somehow earned a giant crypt; must have been rich, she mused. She heard the sirens of the local authorities approaching and her eyes shifted to watch their speeders moving right up to the restaurant. She couldn't see what was going on, but apparently something was going on downstairs. Soon enough they had left, presumably picking up whoever had caused the fuss.

Her waiter finally returned, and relayed the story of what he had seen of what happened downstairs. Some rather squirrely Umbaran had apparently accosted a blind girl downstairs, to the point where her chest had been exposed in public. Lairiel could hardly believe someone would be dumb enough to do that - if she was blind, just follow her when she leaves and get her when there aren't a whole bunch of witnesses. Wasn't that obvious? Apparently it wasn't though, as someone had done it. Some idiot, she corrected herself. With her salad now here, she rolled her map up and slid it back in to its tube before she set to eating. She found that the salad wasn't quite to her taste, but it wasn't horrible either. She wouldn't order it again, but she did eat all of it. She had a long walk ahead of her, and she didn't want to be hungry before she finished her walk there and then the walk back. Then the waiter came back and informed her that the man who had accosted the blind woman had actually been the man she had just purchased the map from. What, had he been so pissed off at her emancipating him that he had gone downstairs and taken it out on some poor blind woman?

She let out a sigh and thanked the waitress for telling her, but didn't go downstairs yet. Really, it was nothing to do with her. Besides that she had invited the man here and been rather responsible for his dark mood.. okay, a large portion of it was her fault. But she did bad things all the time, so why should she care? Because.. the woman was blind. She let out a more aggravated sigh this time and brought her hand up to rub her head. She was a Sith, yet here she was feeling sorry for a stranger. But she couldn't imagine that happening to herself - having her breasts exposed in a public place? ... Actually she wasn't really all that shy and probably wouldn't be bothered by it. But if she was blind and already vulnerable, to be made to feel even more vulnerable - i was just horrible. Fine, I'll go apologize if you will just shut up about it! she thought to herself, just to get the voices in her head to give her some peace and quiet.

She stood and made her way downstairs, flagging down her waitress and asking her to point out the blind girl who had been accosted, so that she could apologize. After just a quick dubious glance at the lightsaber and thinking 'yeah right, this Sith wants to apologize?', the waitress thought better of that stance as she realized that the woman's ire could be turned on her if she didn't answer. So she pointed the way towards Jade's table and Lairiel started that way. She came to a stop and blinked as she came in to sight of the woman - by the Galaxy, she was beautiful. Suddenly she understood why someone would want to accost her. She wondered if perhaps the blind woman got it a lot.. but that wasn't really a good question to ask. Instead she asked what the woman was drinking, and then told the waitress to get her a bottle of it. She waited on the spot, studying what she could see of the woman while the bottle was retrieved.

She took another few moments as she shifted the scroll case on her back; she had strapped it to herself now that she was on the move, and then she adjusted the lightsaber on her hip as well. She wanted to make sure no one else was going to be bothering her or stopping too close. She might be about to apologize, but that didn't mean she wanted anyone else to hear it. With the lightsaber out on display, everyone gave her a wide berth as she finally started to approach the table. In fact, the occupied table next to Jade's was even vacated by the occupants when she gave them a glare and a motion of her hand to switch tables. There was a bit of a flurry of motion as they scrambled to do just that. And then Lairiel was at Jade's table, and there was a clink as she set the bottle down on it. Her eyes glanced around as she made sure no one was close enough to hear her, and then she sat in the chair across from the blind woman, not even waiting for an introduction. She was a Sith; she didn't need one.

"Hello there. The Waitress told me what happened, so I came by to apologize. Not really directly my fault, but as I am the one who invited that foul man to meet me here, I am somewhat indirectly responsible." Her hand shifted out to the bottle and she slid it forward to sit next to the one already on the table - it still had the cork in it, of course. "Accept this bottle as an apology; you can take it home with you if you do not wish to drink it right now. The staff will know not to bother you." She had not made that really sound like a request at all, that the woman accept the wine as an apology. Well, that and the words were all she was going to get, and she shouldn't expect any more from a sith. Not that the blind woman could see her lightsaber anyways... but that was besides the point. She shifted back in her chair, studying the woman silently.

She didn't seem overly keen on leaving right away, at least, so she would wait and see what the blind woman had to say for herself. She wasn't really sure how to read the facial expressions of a blind woman, but perhaps this would help her to learn. She imagined that 'distraught' was the facial expression the woman would have, so she could go off of that and use it as a basis for discerning any future facial expressions of blind people that she met. It was research, clearly. It had nothing to do with wanting to sit and openly stare at a pretty face while said pretty face had no idea she was staring.

As she sat there enjoying fruit salad, despite the fact that the Jogan fruit seemed to be a bit too tart for her tastes as she prefered it's typical sweet flavor. As she took her glass of Vinombre and gave it a nice swirl before taking a sniff of it's sent. The wine did in fact have nice wood flavor to it with an slight undertone of something else she was unfamiliar with although is wasn't unpleasant. It was a shame that she had go and get the man arrested but still, those police seemed to recognize him so he had most likely committed some sort of other crime before, something that consorting with sith would no doubt pertain to.

With a sigh Jade sat back and looked out of the window to her right, she wasn't sure why she had expected Umbara to be any different from any other planet, it's not like she could see the stars of other systems as it was so Umbara was nothing special to her. As she searched around her within the Force, searching for anything that might help lead her to this sith she was hoping to discover, and then Jade felt the young woman's presence. She seemed to be about the same age as her but Jade taught careful note of the lightsaber on the sith's belt. Soon after she noticed the woman's presence so did the family in the booth next to her's, she pretended not to noticed and intentionally clouded her thoughts and cut off her emotions. A Jedi could never be too safe when dealing with such fickle things as a sith.

As the young woman sat down at the table, Jade lowered her utensils and looked up in the sith's direction. She listened to the woman's words in silence as she took a sip from her wine before setting down and making a sound with her teeth as she sucked the last drops of flavor from them. "Ah yes, so I take it you're the sith he had mentioned then." Jade hadn't spoken with malice or sarcasm in her tone, simply stating it as a fact. "To be honest today hasn't really been all that bad considering some of the past experiences from my life. Then again I am grateful for the wine but it's not necessary, I have no need for pity, especially from one of your Order. Your kind murdered my entire family and left me alone in the world to fend for myself." This was only half true Jade knew, but nearly everyone she had ever loved had been killed because of the sith and she has to survive mostly on her own, sure many Jedi had helped her along that path to survival but it still took everything she had ever held dear to make it.

Jade pulled one of the spare glasses from the far side of the table where the condiments and such were located and poured the sith a glass of the Vinombre and pushed it over to the sith's side of the table. Jade held no love for the sith, but when it came down to it she didn't hate them either, this young woman most likely had no knowledge of the Evoyn family, probably had never even been to Pantora so what right did Jade have to hate a child stolen from her home and forced to become a sith, if anything it was the shortcomings of herself and her fellow Jedi that lead to such things. "Forgive me, as I said I am grateful but there really is no need to apologize, it's not like he did it on purpose." As she spoke, Jade pulled the fat credit purse out from under the table and placed it on the table, one hand on the purse, the other raising her glass to her pale blue lips, the deep scarlet wine washing over sly grin she she finished of the glass.

Placing the glass down and refilling it, Jade spoke again, this time with a much more casual tone as if they had been friends for a long time. "Well then, my name is Jade Evoyn, I'm a Jedi Knight within the New Jedi Order, tell me what brings a sith to Umbara to buy something from a random criminal? I'm here on personal business myself so unless you really feel like it I have no desire to attack you, if anything I'm actually hoping you'll help me find something." With that Jade let out a soft chuckle as she raised her glass to her lips once again, an even wider grin on the Pantoran's face then moments prior. It didn't really matter what the sith said or did in response, Jade was actually enjoying herself and the Vinombre was absolutely divine.

Her eyebrows rose as the woman mentioned that she was a sith; that was either quite astute of her or she was actually looking for Lairiel beforehand. She made a mental note of that as she leaned back in her chair, but the woman went on to them say that the Sith had murdered her entire family. Well, she disnt really have anything to say about that. She certainly wasn't going to apologise for it, she hadn't been directly involved - and it wasn't like there was a shortage of people that the Sith had killed the entire families of. Actually it was more impressive that she was alive at all, really. The Sith weren't really known for leaving survivors behind.

She slowly reached out to take the offered glass of wine and brought it up to her lips for a quick sip of it. She brought the glass up as a token of 'have it your way' to the woman again saying there was no need to app goes, belatedly remembering that the woman was blind. Right; that was stupid of her. Instead of correcting it she brought the glass up for another drink - and then nearly spit it out. A jedi Knight, here? And to just so casually say it to her - despite the message that she didn't want to fight, well. Their orders were ancient enemies! But she had also said she was a Knight. Lairiel had know way of knowing of that was true or not, but if it was she was likely severely outassed. And the em level of confidence it took to just outright tell a Sith that you were a Jedi - well, she was going to need some backup, for sure.

Attacking her outright would probably be foosh; the woman seemed to be all but dismissing her. Again, it could just be a show, but it could also mean she really was entirely overmatched here. A safer bet would be to call for help. And probably not the same kind of help that the Jedi wanted her to offer. "What kind of 'something' would a Jedi ask a Sith to help her find?" she asked aloud; she also watched to see if the Jedi looked surprised that Lairiel hadn't just attacked her outright upon finding out she was a Jedi. Was hat entirely telling that she herself was just an acolyte? She really wasn't sure. She had also mostly been losing the question to herself, but she wouldn't mind hearing an answer to it anyways.

"Oh - and I'm Lairiel." She actually didn't see a problem with being polite about it. Jade had given her name, so it was only proper for Lairiel to give hers. And really, seeming like she didn't care about Jade being a Jedi was the best way to put her off her guard. And Lairiel was pretty sure she'd need to put her off her guard in order to not only stay alive but also find a way to signal for help. She brought the glass up and drained the rest of it; a bit of alcohol should surely help steel her nerves. "You're very pretty, Jade. It's kind of intimidating." While that was a true statement, she was also hoping to see if she could through the woman off by seeming physically attracted to her. And it wasn't really a hard sell, she was quite pretty.

She leaned back in her chair then and really started to study the woman, her Arkanian mind doing its best to shake off the cobwebs and really start to plan. First she needed to know what the Jedi wanted, then she had to find a way to get away from her long enough to get a signal back to Korriban. Then finally she just had to stay near the Jedi and stall her long enough for the Empire to arrive in sufficient force to deal with the Jedi. It was a pretty good plan for short notice, she thought. Some more details would need to get filled in as they went along, but given the circumstances she didn't see what else she could do.
