Star Wars Video Games?

Hey, guys! It's Mr. Crow, here again.

So, recently I've been playing a few Star Wars video games, including Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron, Star Wars Battlefront II, and Star Wars: The Old Republic.

However, I've heard a lot of bad reviews about Star Wars video games. Am I the only one seeming to like these games? (I just ordered Star Wars: Force Unleashed for my PSP).

The games you've listed are ones that get good to decent reviews, but there have been some pretty bad Star Wars games (and LucasArts games in general) over the last 10 years or so.

There are two things that could possibly happen with 1313, other than it never being released:

1. Its story/visuals become part of a Boba Fett movie, which would be a sweet looking movie.

2. It's finished and released along with a Boba Fett movie, to capitalize on it.

Unfortunately, there's just nothing on the radar right now, not a single blip of hope or despair. We have no idea what will happen to the project if anything, it may not have been the open world Coruscant game I've always wanted, but it sounded pretty damn close.

I've been off the grid for awhile, and this is really a crappy Seg-way but isn't Dice or somebody working on a Battlefront reboot...? :o

If you've got an even semi-up to date PC I'd highly recommend the Best of PC collection. Great set of games, I think Clone Commando's the only one I don't really play, but even that's pretty fun. The only disappointing thing about it have to go buy Empire at War again, because getting Forces of Corruption on it's own is hard to find in my experience. But it's not really that expensive, heck it's still on the shelves at a nearby target for like ten-fifteen bucks.

IIRC, 1313 started out as an open world Coruscant game but ended up turning into what we know it as.

the x-wing series was amazing, and award winning - sorry kids Im not talking about the rogue squadron ones= by that I mean the classics, x-wing, tie fighter- XWVS TF, X-wing alliance ( still play the last one on emulator and highly modeled with more up to date models.

Rebel assault, and rebel assault2 were neat and from the early days of super imposing live action and cg in games, dark forces, and its spin offs where good, more so the second one that used live action in it ( DF became the jedi academy games later on)


then I again I remember playing the original arcade game ( everything was just green lines) so Im a bad judge of games seeing as I am from the first true gaming generation so ive seen too big of a jump in quality to be critical of newer stuff XD

Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Republic Commando are the only two I still play. I used to play Rebel Assault 2, but then it broke on me.

Republic Commando is one of the only FPSs I play, apart from RPGs such as Fallout and Mass Effect which have FPS elements. I don't really know why, probably because it was Star Wars.

Plus killing Trandoshans is sooo satisfying.

That is why I intend to become inordinately wealthy, buy the rights and hire a team of crack tech guys to make it awesome. The end.

Well, that's true, but Dark Forces is an entirely different game upon itself. Sort of like how KOTOR II was amazing, but KOTOR was nearly perfect- they aren't the same thing. :P

KOTOR 1 & 2, though I liked Revan more than the Exile. A Sith Lord who turned Jedi Master and mastered the light AND dark side of the force. Definitely a beast.

Battlefront 1 & 2 were good too.

I recently play the Old Republic MMO as a Sith Marauder and it drains hours of night.

More like drains your love for Bioware. I hated that game so much.
