I'd rather it just be a game. MMO's are great and all, but personally, if they were going to reinvent this series in the new canon, I'd rather it be a standard game as opposed to another MMO.

There was one and it was called Star Wars Galaxies. And it went into the trash because Sony fucked it up trying to make it fit into the new trendy things.

NEWS Today they released the patch that brings in a new playable race, you can now play as a Togruta. (after you unlock them with cartel coins a la Cathar)
Also, the Togruta automatically hide head slot items, wish they had patched that onto the Twi'leks as well but that's neither here nor there.

There were a number of other updates like the Yavin Stronghold and a variety of class power balacings.

So: Togruta as a playable race: Discuss.

I jumped in to check them out. You can't position the montrals like you can lekku, but yeah they seem like a fairly neat addition customization wise.

I always wanted to play as a Togruta, so I only just jumped back into the game and got it. I like it :) They changed a lot of things since I last played though, my update took forever. I am curious to see what the stronghold business is. Anyone tried that yet?

A stronghold is player housing. There are also strongholds for guilds.

There are also public Strongholds for people who like to leave their door unlocked since everything is bolted down.

That trailer exicted me to no end. The seemingly updated graphics, the cinematic storytelling, it feels more rpg-like and immersive which I think is one of their stated goals.
