Someone has been busy under my roof.

So I found this under my roof outside, on one of the support beams. I could not turn on flash in fear of scaring them and getting pecked at.

What we have right there is two adult birds and a baby, all in the same nest. It started a month ago with just the mother in the nest, then I assume the father was on the roof edge, looking out it seemed. Then later the egg hatched and a baby bird was born. Just thought it was cool and cute to see a little family of birds have their nest under the roof outside my house.

We had a nest of barn swallows living above our garage light. It was really fun watching the baby birds grow especially when the parents were teaching them how to fly; it was very fascinating. However, it sucked cleaning up all the bird poop.

When I read the title I was thinking it was just my dirty mind at work but it looks like someone, or rather something was getting busy under your roof. I've never had birdies in my house though. We had Budgies as pets and let them breed, They were all colorful except for the white ones. I kept trying to teach them to speak but failed.

No birds near our house, but plenty of geckos. In the summer, they love to sit on our garage doors in the evenings and soak in the residual heat. Every night I come home, I get to watch them ride the door up and hope they don't get caught in the wheels on the side or fall down.

There is a tree outside my bedroom window that birds like to nest in. It gets annoying waking up to a monotonous chirping, but it's still sweet to see little baby birds from time to time.

...Except this one time where I woke up to see a predatory bird swoop down and gobble up one of the chicks. That made me want to cry. ._.
